Chapter 4 Alex was badly scolded

WHEN she and Kelly both entered the spacious room the first two men caught her sight was familiar to her as they were regular customers of the pub. But the other one who was sitting straight across the two guys with his long legs crossed like he was some kind of a powerful ruler and was staring keenly at her really made her blood boiled!. It was the bloody arrogant man who caused her to destroy her phone and didn't even gave a little apology!

Anger surged and filled her whole body when she met the man's dark eyes. She really wished she could gouge his eyes out and smash his head badly. But no matter how angry she was, she didn't lose her cool and still managed to remain calm while maintaining her fake smile. She still needed this job after all so it will not do her any good if she let her irrationality dominates her.

Without any further ado she and Kelly started to put the dishes on the table one after another very carefully. But the misfortunes continued when she accidentally knocked out the bowl of soup and it was splashed onto the arrogant man's shirt. Luckily the soup was not boiling hot.

" Oh my god I'm sorry! It was an accident! Sir are you okay? "

She uttered in panic and hurriedly get the tissue to dry the place where the soup was sprinkled.

Although he was so mean at her awhile ago, he was a customer and with this kind of incident it might get her fired from work. But deep inside her heart she was so glad seeing the ugly look on the man's handsome face.

' Serves you right, haha! ' she wickedly thought.

She kept on drying his shirt swiftly without noticing the man's dark reaction at the moment. She was so stunned when she raised her eyes at him and meet his eyes.

He was looking at her sharply and his chiseled jaws was firmly clenched. His whole body was emanating a frosty coldness. His bone-piercing gaze was already enough to give people a chill on the spine. It was really scary.

She was taken aback when the man suddenly seized her wrist and gripped it tightly. He looked so mad and frightening at the moment.

" I.... I'm really very sorry. I didn't intend to.." She apologized again while stammering.

All her life, this was the first time that she actually got scared with just a kind of gaze. His aura was very intimidating especially his eyes. If only stare can kill, maybe she have been dead on the spot definitely.

" Get lost! " Alex snapped at her and flung her hand away harshly.

Eve staggered a bit by the force he exerted. She glanced at her wrist which was slightly red because of his tight grip. Her anger flared up again and pointed at the ungrateful man infront of her.

" Are you even human? I have apologized for my mistake but you are still very ungrateful! If you don't want to accept my apology then don't! Why would i insist it for such a rude man like you. You don't even deserve it! "

She angrily stated and dragged Kelly out of the room. She really exploded after suppressing her anger for awhile. He's arrogance is too infuriating!

The two men who was present and witnessed the farce gasped in horror. They were all speechless to how their best friend been scolded harshly.

Alex's whole body stiffened and his handsome face was covered with so much coldness. Although he has a calm expression, deep inside he was way too mad to explain.

Travis and Luke can't help but shrank their heads for fear that they will be the one to be doomed in the next moment sensing the dangerous aura on him. Alex's very dark expression was telling them there's a super storm coming.The temperature of the whole room almost dropped into a freezing point. They can't help but feel so tensed to their bones.They were taking glances at him from time to time and quietly watching the man's reaction sneakily.

'What the hell does that woman thinking? Isn't she afraid of death? For sure that woman will be forever damned! ' the two men tacitly thought.

Alex fished out his phone in his pocket and made a call to Earl.

" Bring me a new set of clothes " he commanded and quickly cut the call.

Luke was the one who broke the horrible silence in the room. " Hey Alex i think i should get going now. I forgot that Dad had some errands for me to finish " Luke wisely made an excuse.

" Me too! I need to get back to the hospital. It's not good to keep the patient waiting hehe " Travis chimed in.

The two guys both got the perfect excuses.

" No need. You finish the food before you go. I'm leaving first " Alex said coldly and got off from the couch.

The two breathed a sigh of relief, but got curious at the same time how did Alex kept his cool.. Anyway, it doesn't matter as long as they were spared.

Alex didn't say another word again to his friends and got out from the room immediately, making his way to the second floor of the pub. There were plenty of suite on the second floor of the pub for customers who wanted to spend the night. And as the owner of this pub he also have an exclusive suite over there. He wanted to take a shower to get rid of the stink on his body from the soup. He was a clean freak and he couldn't tolerate being dirty even it's just for a minute.

In his entire life of living, he haven't been humiliated these worst. That woman was really something! Lately he really wanted to snap her head off on the spot for bruising his ego. He was known as the most powerful and ruthless man in the business world but he had been trampled easily by a woman. That was such a shame to his part. If that happened to other people he probably shoot them on the spot without a second thought.

He had to vent his anger today no matter what!

He made a call first to the manager and gave him a brief task. After the call, he then proceeded to the shower to relax his nerves.

" Holy shit Evie are you out of your mind?! Why did you do that? What's gotten on you? " Kelly bawled at her when they're on their way to the kitchen's lounge.

" He deserved it and i didn't regret for doing it either " she firmly answered gnashing her teeth.

" Do you understand what you are saying now huh? Do you not even mind if that man gets his complaints to the manager? You will get fired! I think he's not just an ordinary rich guy as Uncle was too afraid of him when he's around. What if he will sue you?" Kelly ranted on her in a worried way. But she didn't care at all.

" That man's arrogance is very annoying! If he think that he can easily bully me it's just his wishful thinking. He can sue me anytime he want I'm all in " she said with indignation.

She was not the kind of person that will easily gets shaken. If she knew she was right she will stand for it no matter what it takes.

That's her principle in life. Even if her opponent were to be the most powerful man in the world she will never bow down.

" I know what you feel and i understand your point. But you needed this job right? What would happen if you will get fired because of this incident? " Kelly said worriedly and comforted her after.

" It's alright. I'll just find another work then " she replied positively.

" Let's just hope that that guy will not take his actions " Kelly said hopefully.

Right then Manager Dunne was coming to their direction. He was holding a bucket with one bottle of expensive wine on it.

" Ms. Carson, glad you're already here " Manager Dunne said.

" Is something wrong Uncle? " Kelly was the one to asked first, her face was full of uneasiness.

" Nothing. You hurry go to the kitchen. There's another order from table 63 "

Kelly looked at her and nodded slightly as if saying that it will be alright. She just smiled at her and the former headed to the kitchen.

" What is it all about Manager Dunne? " She asked. The manager handed her the bucket.

" You take this upstairs, room 704 "

She carefully took the bucket and didn't asked any further questions. Maybe the incident lately have never been reported. Well that's a relief!
