Chapter 1 Neglect

Leon had just come home from work, exhaustion and boredom showing on his face. As soon as his wife welcomed him home and gave him a warm hug, he didn't respond at all.

Abby just hugged him silently. Lately she has been very aware that Leon has been silent to her more often and hasn't even touched her this week. Usually Leon would make more noise if he didn't channel his passion at all.

"Why are you home late again? I missed you." Abby hugged Leon from behind.

"I was busy," Leon replied briefly, he let Abby hold him for the time being.

"I cooked dinner. I cooked your favorite food-"

"I already ate." Leon then slowly removed Abby's hands from his waist.

Abby tightened her embrace on Leon when she felt Leon's hands trying to release her. Abby endured the pain of Leon's subtle rejection of her at the moment.

"Let go, I want to take a shower!" Leon said in a lazy tone, he was not trying to be assertive.

"You've been ignoring me a lot lately. Did I make a mistake?" Abby asked.

Leon was silent for a moment hearing Abby's question. He didn't even know what Abby's mistake was. But the urge to inhabit Abby and the feeling of heartache every time he saw his own wife.

Two years of marriage and no offspring seems to be not an easy thing to go through for any couple. What's more, when it's the wife who is seen as not contributing to the family finances, she can be seen as a weakness in the family.

But, hearing Abby's question, was it her fault that they had no offspring until now? Leon knew she was trying with him to have offspring.

"About not having a baby yet, hum? Are you ignoring me because of that? The meeting with your family last week seemed to affect you." Abby ventured to say it more clearly.

Leon's jaw hardened. He also didn't know what made him act this way towards Abby. Maybe Abby was right, it was because his family kept pushing him to have a child soon.

Abby looked at Leon who still did not respond. This made Abby sigh in disappointment because Leon didn't seem to want to talk about anything about this.

Abby's hand then rubbed Leon's abdominal muscles. It gives a slight tingling sensation and Leon's muscles respond by tightening tighter. Abby had to move first to persuade Leon. And Leon knew this was the best Abby could do.

Abby's hand slipped further down, closer to his waistband. Which succeeded in making Leon's penis start to stand up. And Leon also sighed heavily because of the caution of Abby's hands. Leon really enjoyed moments like this.

Abby looked at Leon from beside his biceps. Abby smiled happily when she saw Leon's reaction who couldn't resist Abby's touch. Leon looked like he wanted to give up.

"What do you want? A week of me not touching you managed to drive you crazy?" Leon glanced back, he was beginning to be amused by what Abby had just done.

Abby pouted and nodded her head. She wanted to get her husband's attention.

And Leon finally gave in. He was going to make love to her tonight. Leon also didn't know what had made him not excited at all for over a week.

As soon as Abby touched him first without warning, he immediately lost his mind. Quickly, Leon grabbed Abby's lips, kissing her lustfully. Like a newlywed, Leon took off his shirt in a hurry.

Assisted by Abby whose hands were on Leon's belt, helping Leon to open it. Leon looked at Abby with a dangerous gaze, as if he was happy to see his prey come alone and submit himself.

Leon walked forward while Abby backed up, to corner Abby against the living room wall. As soon as Abby's back was against the wall, Leon's hand grabbed one of Abby's two breasts and gave it a massage.

"Ahh..." Abby sighed softly, which aroused Leon even more.

"Ding-dong!"

The sound of the house bell made the two stop. Unfortunately, by then Leon had already taken off his shirt and his pants were already sagging down his legs.

"Urgh... fuck!" Leon roared softly, stifling his roar in annoyance.

"I'll open the door." Abby rubbed Leon's hand on her breast.

Leon sighed in disappointment and let Abby go. Abby also seemed to be disappointed by the interruption. Leon vented his disappointment by hitting the wall, while Abby could only shake her head softly as she smoothed her hair again.

Abby saw a girl on her home video intercom. Abby furrowed her brows when she saw her cousin, Beatrice. Besides her cousin, Beatrice was also Leon's ex. Abby actually never felt troubled by Leon's past, which usually came naturally. It was always like that.

"Abby's here. Hi, Beatrice! What brings you here?" Abby sighed, trying to calm down.

Abby glanced at Leon who was wearing his shirt carelessly. As soon as he heard Abby say Beatrice's name, slim Leon turned to her with a tense expression.

"Is Leon home? I'm sure he's home from work. May I come in?" Beatrice smiled with a somewhat forced smile.

Abby couldn't believe Beatrice's words as she calmly mentioned that she was so sure that Leon was home at this moment.

Abby tried not to think anything strange and opened the door. Abby smiled at Beatrice who was now smiling at her too. Abby knew that sometimes Beatrice would deliberately mention her past relationship with Leon. It made her feel uncomfortable sometimes if she had to bring Leon together with Beatrice.

Leon straightened his shirt again while staring in the other direction, as if he was afraid to look at Abby who was obviously staring straight into his eyes to see his reaction.

"Hi, Leon! I'm here to talk about the collaboration project we're going to do." Beatrice noticed Leon's messy appearance.

"Yes, alright. Wait for me outside, I'll be right out." Leon just nodded his head quickly and went to his room for a while.

"What collaboration project?" asked Abby while looking at Beatrice who was glancing at her rather sarcastically.

"It's about a business that someone like you probably wouldn't understand. You don't work. You wouldn't know about something like that." Beatrice showed Abby a forced smile.

Abby furrowed her brows, clearly not liking the way Beatrice treated her when Leon wasn't paying attention. Abby snorted while staring back at Beatrice with a displeased look.

"Watch how you talk to me!" Abby turned around and intimidated Beatrice back.

"Oh, look who's talking!" Beatrice raised her eyebrows and looked at Abby defiantly.

"I don't like the way you talk to me," Abby said.

"Just like Leon's family doesn't like girls like you. Can't produce offspring and so haughty. You're a gold digger!"

"You-"

"Are you ready?" Beatrice smiled at Leon.
