Chapter 4 Felt Uncomportable with Varenzel

"You can replace that with hello!"

Alicy looked up, she looked at Varenzel who was pulling a smile on his lips, then continued "don't you want to say Hello for me every time we meet?"

Alicy didn't answer, she chose to look away, her body successfully shaking at the words Varenzel had just said.

Until the elevator dinged and the elevator doors opened slowly.

Alicy looked at the elevator marker showing the sixteenth floor, where she and Varenzel worked. Alicy was placed in the same division as Varenzel, where their rooms were not far apart.

Varenzel walked out first, but before that he turned around again to look at Alicy.

"Miss Swan..." he called, making Alicy look at him. "See you again!"

Alicy was silent, she just stared at Varenzel's back which was getting further away from her. Taking a deep breath, Alicy was lost in thought, honestly she didn't understand any of this.Whether Alicy was too suspicious or whether she was swept away by the dream that Alicy had had about Varenzel, to be honest, Alicy felt increasingly uncomfortable with Varenzel.

There was a twinge of worry in Alicy's heart towards Varenzel.

Alicy took a deep breath for a moment, it would be a mistake if she had to resign from this company, of course Alicy would also feel bad for Joan who had brought Alicy here.

It was four in the afternoon, this was the time for the workers to go home, including the Calain Group workers. Alicy accelerated her footsteps out of the building, she walked past the people so she could go home early, without paying attention to anything or anyone.

It took time to arrive at Alicy's apartment. The girl walked from the moment she got off the bus to her apartment area. In the opposite direction, you can see the bloated man who lives next to Alicy's room walking too.

"Wow... what is this?" he said when he passed Alicy, he always looked at Alicy with a flirtatious look, "You're so neat, just got home from work?"

Alicy gave a small bow in response, just to show politeness. Until Alicy walked back to pass the man, he dared to touch Alicy's waist so impolitely.

In fact, the touching would have been more intense if Alicy had not been quick to avoid it.

"WATCH YOUR ATTITUDE!!" Alicy screamed angrily. The successful man was shocked when he saw the change in Alicy's expression. "I could have reported you for inconvenience!" said Alicy again, bluffing.

The man stepped back, apparently his guts didn't match his style. "S-Sorry, I'm sorry miss!" he said, looking in all directions. "Please don't report me!"

It seemed like he was quite intimidated when he heard the police report, maybe he had previously had dealings with the police too.

Withdrawing after finishing this, the man bowed to Alicy, began to show respect and then he continued his journey again.

The wall clock showed one o'clock in the evening, things were very quiet around the apartment that Alicy rented, maybe because it was cheap and the condition of this apartment was not well conditioned with the absence of servants and guards, making the atmosphere quite tense.

The man walked up the stairs to his eighth floor room. Until he reached the fifth floor, his steps stopped when he saw a person sitting so relaxed on the steps, whistling a little.

The pot-bellied man frowned. "Who are you? Get out of the way and don't get in the way!" He said curtly and looked at the person sitting blocking his path.

It was only confirmed that it was a man even though he had not shown his face as he had his back to the man and was wearing a Hodide hood covering his head.

"Hey... what are you doing?" asked the man approaching.

However, the man suddenly widened his eyes when he wearing Hodide's hood turned around and showed Jiru's scary mask.

"AAKKHH" he shouted as he turned around to go downstairs again.

But Jiru didn't let that happen, he who was on the sixth floor without hesitation jumped down, moving so agilely like a snake when down the stairs that in a matter of seconds, Jiru had succeeded in blocking the man on the fifth floor.

The man was hit by Jiru until he fell down, prevent so as not to make another sound, Jiru immediately covered the mouth of the man who was now struggling so hard. But Jiru didn't flinch from carrying out his action of dragging the man up.

Who would have thought that the man's struggle would actually make him roll towards the banister, at the same second Jiru pushed the man's body down.

"Awh..." Jiru hissed with a small grin, then he looked up. Precisely looked on the eight floor and mumbling increasingly quietly.

"Up there, it's definitely destroyed!"

Jiru chuckled as he descended the stairs, who knows what was on his mind until Jiru's chuckle sounded like a funny laugh. And Jiru didn't stop his actions, instead he dragged the man who was lying helpless towards the bestment area.

Jiru chuckled as he looked at the man's condition. He crouched in front of the man who was already weak but still conscious.

"You know that your eyes are very beautiful? But unfortunately it too easily carried away by something that doesn't belong to him, which makes him dull!" Jiru reached for something in his pocket.

"So, allow me to clean this up for you, yeah?" He took out a small dagger, twirled it around in front of the man who just remained weakly silent.

"Just relax, I'll give it to you for free, it's free for you!"

Covering the man's mouth, Jiru started his action again. And the man could only groan in pain as he cried, only that the cry was not water, but red liquid coming out of his eyes.

"You'd better stay the night at my place!" Rhysica said with panic on her face, she had a message from Alicy and immediately rushed to Alicy's place.

At the same time as the sound of the car pulling up, the white Range Rover dropped off two handsome men, namely Varenzel and Joan.

"Are you okay, Alicy?" said Joan approaching.

Alicy was crying and shaking, the situation was quite busy with a police line marked for a tragedy which was suspected to be an intentional crime, but it was not clear what the motive was.

Varenzel came closer, he looked at the direction of the incident and then he looked at Alicy who was now sobbing even more in Rhysica's arms.

"This is the second incident that has happened to people here" Joan whispered to Varenzel who was standing next to him.

"Bro, I'm worried about Alicy!"

Varenzel nodded and patted Joan's shoulder lightly, his gaze never leaving Alicy, who glanced at Varenzel briefly. Then Varenzel walked towards Alicy.

"Miss Swan, if you want I will give you a place to stay as an employee of the Calain Group. how about it, do you want to?"
