*CORA*

Very early the next morning,I was seated in couch in the living room waiting for him to come home,my luggage was beside me as I sat with arms crossed.

I knew my eyes were red-rimmed and hurting,that was because of all the crying of last night,plus I couldn't sleep.

But I had sworn to myself that that was the last time I would ever cry because of him.

I heard the front door opened and I glanced up to see him walking in.

My heart ached seeing him with that shirt and with how disoriented he looked,it reminded me of the night he'd had.

I looked away from him.I didn't want to speak to him right now while he was looking like this.

I still wondered what was wrong with me though.

Was I that unlovable?

Granted,I knew it was wrong to force him into a marriage he didn't want but I just wanted him to see how much I loved him.

His Grandma had also felt that I was perfect for him.

Why couldn't he see that?

Why couldn't he see me?

I did everything to fit his taste.I changed my fashion sense, I never got mad at how badly he treated me because I wanted him to know that for his sake,I could endure anything.

For his sake,I could do anything.I had loved him more than I loved myself and that was killing me right now.

I had to go find myself.I had to leave this love behind.It had caused me nothing but pain.

He didn't speak to me either.He simply didn't care to notice that I had my luggage beside me.He ascended the stairs and half an hour later,he came down looking refreshed and handsome in a grey suit.

I tore my eyes away from him.I would not let his handsomeness affect me any longer.

I saw him walked into the dining room obviously to have breakfast.I always had breakfast ready for him before he even wakes up every morning.

I scoffed when I watched him walk out of the dining room after obviously meeting an empty table.

He walked up to me and before he could say anything,I announced.

"This is your breakfast for today."I pushed a paper toward him.

Frowning,he bent and picked it up.I saw his face contorted in confusion as he went through the paper.

Why did he seem surprised?

Wasn't this what he wanted?

"What's the meaning of this?"

My teeth clenched.

"Why are you acting as if you've never seen that paper before or have your memory suddenly gone bad?Then again,you don't seem to remember anything when it comes to me."

He looked even more surprised at my words.

I could tell why.I had never spoken to him in this tone before.

"Stop pretending!I found that paper in your drawer last night!You had it signed and you seem to have been waiting to get my signature."I sneered.

Last night when I packed my stuff,I had originally wanted to leave right away but then I decided to feel him one more time so I went into his room pathetically wanting to feel his presence but then I stumbled upon an already signed divorce papers.

He had signed his part and it was left for me to sign.That broken what was left of my heart to find out that he had wanted to divorce me a long time ago.

He must have seen me as a fool for still sticking to his side like glue.

*TRISTAN*

I stared at the papers in my hands unable to believe that I had originally forgotten about this.

I had gotten it at the time when Cora and I were newly married and I had signed it because at that time I wanted nothing to do with her.

But I had totally forgotten that something like this was in my drawer.

"Did you go searching through my things?"I asked,angrily.

She knew better than anyone that I loved my private space.

I watched as she rolled her eyes."Yeah,sorry I forgot that you hate someone in your space but guess what?We're married,well after today,it's going to be in the past tense but you should know that your space is my space too because we were married!"She thundered.

I blinked.

What the hell has gotten over this woman?

She was so all over me,she was literally the calmest person I've ever met.Even yesterday,she was still doting to me,why was she suddenly so angry and harsh?

I never thought she had this side of her.

Instead of apologizing like she normally does at any slightest mistake she makes,she stood up to her feet and grabbed her luggage.

"I was entitled to see that.Anyway,our three years trial marriage period is over so enjoy your private space,Mr Godoy."She let out,sarcastically and then stormed out of my house.
