Chapter 2 Reunion.

The next day, Henier didn't wait for Mila to recover from the beatings.

She was sent to the market of a neighboring pack to get some fabrics Henier and Jeanne needed for the upcoming anniversary celebration.

Mila walked all around the market but couldn't find the same quality of the fabric Henier wanted specifically.

As she approached another stall, she met some wolves checking out some materials too.

"Look at her, she still dares to show her face in public, Even my baby brother had enough strength compared to her, she doesn't even deserve to be called an omega she is just a weakling and nothing more

One of the girls who was also shopping for fabrics insulted Mila but Mila kept quiet and did not utter a word.

Other girls joined the first one who had insulted Mila as they rained more and more insults on Mila, but Mila was unaffected by this and this angered them more.

The stall owner chased the other girls from his stall and luckily for Mila he had the exact quality of Fabric Henier requested.

Mila was done with her purchase and decided to take a shorter route through the woods back home but she was cornered by the previous girls she met at the stall.

"Look who we have here.. one of the girls shouted as they circled Mila,

"You made the stall owner chase us away and now you are going to pay for it" another one chipped in.

Please don't hurt me, ple..ase I am sorry, Mila begged as she fell on his knees,

This was her everyday life, constant bullying from other members of the pack, since the day she couldn't shift, she has become an object of ridicule for the pack members.

While Mila was still on her knees begging, one of the girls dragged the fabrics Mila had bought and shredded into pieces.

"Please...please don't do that" Mila cried as she held onto the girl's leg trying to drag the fabric away but it was futile.

The girls then suddenly shifted into their wolf form and started chasing Mila.

Mila ran with all her strength but she couldn't outrun them, there were five in number and in no time they had cornered Mila.

The wolves pranced around Mila, but she kept on begging them.

As one of the wolves jumped to attack Mila, a big brown wolf appeared right in front of Mila and scratched the other wolf.

Mila had closed her eyes, in fright as she thought she was about to get killed by the wolf. But as she re-opened her eyes, she was surprised to see the wolf fighting off the other wolves.

She saw someone walking towards her....a female, and at this point the other wolf had scared others away and they ran away.

When the female got close to Mila

Mila was shocked it was NINA.Her childhood friend.

"Don't tell me your have forgotten me so soon" Nina said

"How can I?" Mila replied, giving Nina a hug.

"Ninaaa, I miss you" Mila screamed.

She hugged Nina who had a huge smile on her face.

"I miss you too Mila" Nina replied, returning the hug.

"What about aunt Sera, how have you been? And who is this?" Mila asked.

"Aunt Sera is fine, you need to worry about the wolf" Mila said as she signaled the wolf to leave.

As the wolf turned back to leave, Mila shouted "thank you" and the wolf gave her one last glance before sprinting away.

"What are you doing here though?" Nina asked.

"I came to the market to get some materials for Madam Hernia and Jeanne, oh noo the fabrics' ' Mila said as she picked up the torn fabrics.

"Oh no, Aunt Hernia is going to kill me, '' Milla added softly, tears threatening to spill from her eyes.

"Mila, don't cry, okay, we will fix it,"Nina said, drawing Mila in for a hug.

It took a while for Mila to calm down and put herself together but she finally did.

"Let's go get another fabric, then we see Aunt Sera," Mila urged.

"But it's getting late, you know how Aunt Henier Is, she calculates everything, if I get home late I will be in serious trouble" Mila argued.

"Don't you want to buy the fabrics again?" Nina asked convincingly.

"Of course I do, but Nina we need to hurry up" Mila said.

Nina took Mila back to the market as she told her everything that had happened since they left the house.

The pack they lived in now was quite close to the market Mila usually visits to buy things.

When they got to the stall, Mila requested for the same fabrics from the stall owner.

"Sorry child, but I don't have the fabrics anymore, not too long ago someone bought the last bundle" The store owner said and Mila's heart fell.

She was doomed for sure, Aunt Henier was going to kill her and she wouldn't survive it.

"Nina, what do you do now?" Mila asked crying, she couldn't control herself anymore, her sore body cannot take on another round of beating.

"Listen to me Mila, nothing is going to happen.
