Chapter 5 Caught red handed

"hmmm, you see it is not that hard to call me my name"Brian said while still moving towards Brielle.

"Sir we are done moving,"interrupted John the assistant.

"Good morning ma'am"he hurriedly greeted after noticing the presence of a lady whom he assumed to be the wife his boss mentioned.

"Yeah, good morning".she replied while bowing slightly as she was still flustered about what just happened and the position in which they he saw them.

"We will complete this conversation when I return in the evening"Brian told Brielle with a smug smile smearing his face.

"The investors agreed to meet by ten and it is already past nine"informed John in a scared voice haven just discovered that he had interrupted what his boss was doing.

"I will be ready in few minutes"he directed to John a bit angry while he moves up to his room.

"It feels pleasing to hear my name from her lips"he thought to himself while grinning like a fool.

"What has gotten into that cold human since this morning,pheww" Brielle thought to her self as she tried to calm her racing heart.she was scared a bit just now because the scene just feels like what happens in movies were the male lead force the female lead to a corner and kiss her.

"Ahh,I must be crazy"she screamed out loud as she rushed into the once empty room that had now been converted to a well equiped work room

All through the day Brielle was busy ranging and going through all the stuffs that she forgot to eat breakfast and lunch,she only realized that it was late when Brian came back home.

Brian couldn't get the image of Brielle this morning out of his head.He keeps on smiling even when he was talking to the investors.

They finished their meeting a little bit after lunch and he went to his office to take care of the business of the day.

He couldn't concentrate on what he was doing as he keeps on reading one file over and over again without signing.

After wasting the whole afternoon without doing anything he decided to go back home.

When he got home Brielle was still in her work room.

"You are back so early,what happened"she asked quizzically when she saw Brian walk into the room.

"Nothing,I fini my work early and decided to come home and check on you"he replied calmly as if it was a normal thing to do without noticing the look of disbelief that was directed towards him.

"Have you had lunch"he asked again

"Noo, ahh I actually forgot all about food"she exclaimed as she suddenly felt hungry at the thought that she had not eaten since morning.

"Let's eat out,it would be my treat and a form of celebration for me as well"she suggested as she had not cooked anything at home.

"Alright". Brian readily accepted as he had been thinking of a way to ask her out for a meal.

After getting dressed Brielle got into the passenger seat while Brian acted as the driver as he felt he does not need a third party.

"Were should we eat"he questioned when he got into the road.

"You choose anyone you like as it is gonna be my treat"Brielle's litany.

"Then I won't be polite"he replied.

Brian chose a french style restaurant which was not really that expensive but serve good dishes as he does not want to hurt her pride since she said she will be the one paying.

Immediately the food was served, Brielle dugged in without a care of the world as she was really hungry.

After eating a few spoonfuls she noticed that Brian had not touched his food and was staring at her and this got her embarrassed making her become cautious.

"I want to thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for everything that you have done for me".she said while raising her glass of wine for a toast trying to cover up the embarrassment she felt when she was caught eating in such manner.

She got so carried away by excitement that she got drunk after drinking half a bottle of wine.she was such a light drinker that she started mumbling silently however she suddenly screamed out which got not only Brian but all the customers shocked.

Brian immediately scurried up to get them out of the place before she creates a scene.

"I am gonna make stunning clothes and become very popular.what do you suggest I name my brand huh,"she keeps talking addressing Brian who was having a difficult time getting her to the car.

After successfully securing her on the passenger seat he breathed a sigh of relief while thinking to himself that he would never allow her to drink again.

Brielle screamed all the way home while occasionally poking her head out of the window which got Brian feeling frustrated as he was having a hard time keeping her in place while also driving.

He hurriedly dragged her to her room after successfully getting them home with so much difficulty but she wouldn't let go she held on tightly to his neck while spewing out nonsense which he couldn't comprehend what she was saying.

After trying for a while without success he thought of pacifying her to sleep,after a while she let go of him but continues mumbling inconsistent word while smacking her lips as if she was tasting something delicious.

After successfully freeing himself he couldn't help but get drawn to her kissable lips which looks plump and really inviting.

"How would it taste like"he thought while drawing closer inch by inch,he was face to face with her and could feel her soft breath which was missed with the smell of alcohol.

He was prepared to kiss her when he discovered that she had opened her eyes at one point and was staring at him.
