Chapter 4 Denouncement

I screamed in pain and I started crying while those two idiots were busy comforting themselves. My poor baby did not deserve this. Oh! I failed her! I should've fought and taken her to the hospital.

"No Alana, please don't die. Don't go away and leave me. You are all I have please," I begged her as I was talking to myself and I continued.

As I saw that bitch lying down there and taking and taking up all the attention, I felt very furious again. With all the anger inside me I stood up from where I was and pounced on her.

"Arrh!" She screamed and tried to fight me off.

SLAM! SLAM!! SLAM!!!

I gave her two slaps and Ethan came and tried to pull me to stand up from her.

I usually am a very calm and collected person but this time around the rage was too much for me to ignore. What did this bitch think she was doing? And who did she think she was?

"Will you leave her alone?" Ethan screamed as my blood pulse increased and I felt rage as he kept defending the evil she was doing.

"Can't you see what she is doing? Your daughter is almost dying of an illness and here she is faking that she needs more doctors."

"Can't you see she's pregnant?" Ethan fired at me.

"Was I once not pregnant too? What's with the defense all the time?"

"And you, why have you not gone to check on your daughter? I mean it's understood that you did not apologize for what you did on her birthday but ignoring her this time is very wild. What did she do to you?"

"I will be leaving now with Jasmine," Ethan declared as he made to leave.

I ran to the entrance and blocked it.

"No, you won't!"

"I refuse to tell sorry for a bastard puppy," Ethan shockingly said to me while he looked at me eyeball to eyeball.

I was frozen at my spot. Did Ethan just call my child, his beloved daughter a bastard puppy? This revelation was wild.

"Bastard puppy you say?" I questioned him.

"Yes,"

"Can you explain sharply? Because we made this baby together. How is she a bastard now?"

Jasmine saw this as an opportunity to conquer and thrive. She looked at Ethan and back at me.

"How do we know that the child is not even your brother's own? You know the streets have been talking and people have been whispering," Jasmine attacked me.

"What?! I never cheated on my husband."

"What? Well, I will not be shocked," Ethan said and looked at me in disdain.

"You know I've always had my doubts but I did not see any to tell you then," Jasmine replied Ethan.

Incredulity and shock washed all over me. This Jasmine girl's head was over the moon. Everyone knew my alpha's brother had been locked up for years so how did I cheat on him?

"You're crazy Jasmine. Ethan's brother had been locked up for years so how could that be possible? And Ethan met me as a virgin."

"She's such a big slut. I always knew something was wrong when my dick refused to get hard for her anymore."

"Look baby see," Jasmine held up her phone as she showed Ethan a series of messages on her phone.

Those messages were forged. So, my sister would go this length to destroy me?

"I knew it. See the text messages," Ethan said and spat on the floor.

On the phone were a series of doctored texts by a supposed guard that claimed he led me into the cell to go sleep with the alphas husband from time to time.

I broke down on my knees in tears. This was not true.

"Noooo... this is not true. The moon goddess will surely come to my rescue," I wailed on the floor.

"Will you shut up and stop involving the goddess in this rubbish?" Jasmine said to me.

I stood up on my feet and wiped my tears as I thought about my daughter. "Ethan what's with those forged messages, can't you see that our daughter is sick, should that not be the most important thing right now?"

Ethan looked at me with evil in his eyes and Jasmine sneered on her face.

"Anyways I have good news. Let me cleanse the air a bit. I have decided to make Jasmine my new Luna!"

Those words rang in my ears like a bell. My heart was shattered. At first, I thought it was just a pet name and he was not serious.

"So, you have to congratulate me," Ethan looked at me and exchanged kisses with Jasmine.

"So, after all the sacrifices and contributions I made for you, my father almost disowned me but I still followed you around because I believed in you. This is... and if it were another person it I'll not hurt as much you had to make it my sister?"

"I'm not ready for that fake tear of yours," Ethan fired as he went to hug Jasmine.

Oh honey, don't mind her. I'm here for you," Jasmine said and cuddled up to him.

So now that she was announced as Luna? She no longer had pains in her belly? But she was screaming and squirming in spins when my baby needed the doctor.

"I can now see. I honestly prefer your sister to you. You are a manipulative person and nothing good can come out from you. Your sister is much better than you. I can see the difference now."

"She is appreciative, simple, kind, loving and innocent while you are showing me your true colors."

His attitude totally disgusted me and pissed me off.

"You know what Ethan? You're a big piece of shit," I dropped a bomb on him.

My heart shook and my face had started to redden. My heart beat fast like five times then stopped and beat once and that once was very heavy. I was shaking to me core.

"I hate both of you so much and I wish I could take back all my wasted years," strength was finally coming.

"I am really shocked at your broad daylight hatred. May the moon goddess curse you to be miserable till the day you die," Ethan told me.

I could not talk again. Everything that had happened these past few weeks was enough to silence me.

"I Alpha Ethan hereby denounce you, Ariana Jessica as my Luna from this day henceforth."

Maybe he thought I would cry and beg.

"I accept to be rejected. Thank you, Alpha Ethan."

Ethan, feeling insulted, called the guards to carry me and lock me up forever.

"You are hereby sentenced to life imprisonment in the dungeons," he said and the guards took me away.
