I shouldn't be feeling disappointed, I should get used to this feeling by now but still I can't help but be disappointed, I can feel the tighten in my chest it's more like my heart will explode, I'm trying my best to hold back my tears but this damn emotion are coming in full swing, I need to leave else I might get caught and everybody will know about my feelings.

I slowly brought down Jade's hand from my shoulder,

"Amy, are you okay?"

"Ehhhh....uhhhh.....ahhhh..." I stuttered

"Amy? What's wrong with her?" I heard Dell's voice and the next seconds he was standing before me

"Amy what is it?" Dante asked

"I thought we were all okay a few minutes ago?" Zack muttered holding my hands, I have to do something, I breathed in masking my face with a smile

"Guys....! You all worry too much I'm fine" I smiled nodding my head

"Babe she's fine, can we go shopping now, you promised me, remember?" Emma, said to Jade

"The shopping is cancel"

"What? But why!" She yelled fuming in anger,

"Are you crazy? Can't you see my best friend is not fine?"

"But she already said she's fine!" She yelled back,

No, no, this is not what I wanted, I don't want to be the reason why Jade will have problems with his new girlfriend. I better leave here immediately.

"Get lost!" Jade yelled at her

"Fine! You'll regret this" Emma yelled back and tried to leave

"Emma?" I called and suddenly held her hand

"Please don't leave" I turned to Jade

"Apologize to her, you don't talk to girls like that"

"Fine" He grumbled reluctantly

"You're welcome babe" Emma smiled and rushed to him locking their arms togetger, I turned away from the sight, it hurts to play cupid for someone you have been in loved with for ages, I sighed and turned to them

"Guys, I just remembered I have to run errands for my mum, I have to leave now" I said to them forcing a smile,

"Let me take you" Dell offered

"Don't worry Dell, I can do this"

"Are you sure you don't need us?" Zack asked and I nodded

"Common guys if our Amy says she can do it then she can, let's support her please" Dante said to the others,

"See you guys tomorrow!" I waved at them and took to my hills, I ran without turning back letting all the tears I've been holding back to flow, I didn't stop till I got to the bus station, I sat on the long bench, weeping and pouring out my soul with my head bent

Why did I ever fall in love with my best friend, I should have locked up this my dn heart, I should have controlled my feelings, my stupid self went on and fell for him. I'm just a friend to him he would never notice me, not when I come from the slums it's already a miracle that rich kids like them accepted a nobody like me as their friends, I shouldn't be greedy, I will try hard from now and stop having feelings for Jade, after all he will never be interested in people like me

All the girls Jade has dated are the most pretty and popular girls in school that come from rich homes. I don't stand a chance with them.

"Hi pretty?" I heard a voice and slowly raised my head only for my eyes to meet another handsome guy, he's tall, blonde hair and has a nose piercing just like those bad boys in the book

"Hi" I replied back, wiping my tears.

"I noticed you were sitting here all alone, and it's getting dark, the last bus has also left"

I looked around and he's right, the street is getting lonely, I shouldn't be here all alone

"Are you okay?"

"Hmm, was just lost in thought"

"My name is Nile" He muttered extending his hand for a shake

"I'm Amy, I go to Empire High School" I muttered as we both shook hands, but I noticed he was reluctant to let my hand gonas he gaze was on me

"Uhmm, my hand" I gestured at my hand

"Ohh...." He pulled away immediately blushing

"Sorry I was lost staring at your beauty"

"Huh...?!" I asked with wide eyes

"Why are you surprised, am I the first person to say that to you?"

"Hmm" I nodded shyly

"Then I'm lucky then" He said jokingly and the both us ended up laughing

"Can I take you home? It's already late"

"Ah....." I was still contemplating when he grabbed my hand

"Come on, I want us to be friends please, let me take you home?"

"Hmm, of course" I nodded with smiles, it's not bad making another friend, we walked towards his car and he opened the car door for me

"Thanks"

"You're welcome"

He got into the car and close the door,

"House address?"

"No 24 Cram neighborhood"

"Oh okay, let's go" He muttered and ignited the car as he drives off

"Do you like to listen to music?"

"Hmm, I listen more to Korean songs, I'm an Army"

"Ohhh," He mouthed nodding his head

"What of you?"

"I listen to more of rap, I like Kendrick Lamar"

"They not like us?"

"Shit! How do you know that?"

"That's his latest drill of course who doesn't know it" I smiled,

"I'm happy you know Kendrick"

"Actually I listen to Travis Scott"

"Girls that listen to Travis Scott is girls that should rule the world"

"Dang! How do you know that?" I asked in surprise

"I'm a fan of Travis too"

"I think both of us like the same rappers"

"Hmm, I like Travis Scott"

"I'm happy, at least we got something to talk about when we're together"

"Sure, oh that's my house" I pointed out"

"Wow, this neighborhood is quite lively it's going to be fun living here"

"Hmm, you're right"

"We might not have everything but we're always happy and content with life, anyways thanks for the ride" I said to him and tried to open the car door

"Wait"

"What's wrong?" I turned to ask in confusion

"I'll do it for you"

"Hmm" I nodded, and he came down from the car and walked to my door side, and pulled the door open

"Thank you" I smiled and slowly came down from the car, but I was shocked to see Jade leaning on his car with a furious look,

"You know him?" Nile asked, holding my hand. I know I'm not supposed to be afraid, but why am I tense and shaking so badly?

His eyes was focused on my locked hand with Nile, I unlocked my hand from Nile's and shifted away from him

"Jade...I..."

"Is this the errand you're running?" He asked, walking toward me with his hands tucked into his pants pocket.

"I.....I......I...." I stuttered biting my lips so hard,

"She's been with me" Nile said and wrapped his hand around my shoulder, I mentally curse angrily, what does he think he's doing

"Get filthy hands away from her!" Jade thundered

"Why should I do that? It's not like you two are together"

"Last warning, get your filthy hand away from her!"

"I won't"

I was already sensing the hot atmosphere, I need to do something

"Don't say I didn't warn you" Jade smirks and the next seconds.........
