Hazel looked at Avery and noticed the confused expression on her face, she sighed. She could not say a word as she was afraid of what the outcome might be.
Different thoughts ran through their head, as they moved silently, any mistake could lead to their graves, both of them loved their lives as no one was ready to be six feet beneath the ground
The one in the front never knew that his presence had struck fear in their hearts.
He never stopped till he got to the palace
"What's going on??" Hazel pondered in her heart as she couldn't shake the ominous feeling from her heart.
They got to the palace, Hazel did not admire the beauty of the palace, Her mind was filled with unanswered questions, at this present atmosphere, It was useless to ask such a question.
"How do I get away from this? " Avery pondered as she was feeling less concerned about Hazel, she never knew the crime that Hazel had committed.
She does not want to be dragged into a war in which she does not know the beginning or what had transpired before now.
"How do I escape this?" Avery racked her brains trying to come up with an excuse to leave Hazel up but none of her plans seemed to be working.

The werewolf council was meant to be a bustling place with ideas flowing everywhere but it was not so as it was as silent as a graveyard
Members of the werewolf council were afraid to air out their views because of the one who sat on the golden seat.
Wondering who he was, here is a sneak peek
He was an emotionless Alpha who ruled with precise decisions, no one challenged his decisions as the end is death.
He loved silence, anyone who dared to make the slightest noise would be six feet under the ground, his whole being screamed danger as many wolves were on their toes whenever he was in their presence
A young guy having porcelain skin tone, brown curly hair reaching his back, clad in a white robe and purple sash tied around his waist, a golden neck chain laying gracefully on his neck.
An Alpha wolf who is a warrior, His name -- Damon.
"Was I this scary in the eyes of other wolves" Damon sighed as he looked at the one who was meant to give reports about the strategy of the incoming war.
Damon cold gaze pierced through the one who was about to begin his speech.
"Here is it my lord," One of the Council of Elders said as he handed over the documents to Damon.
Damon kept mute and everyone was on their toes as they had resigned themselves to fate.
The one who had brought the information was trembling as sweat began to pour out of his face.
Damon who was the cause of all this still was scanning the document with a confused expression on his face.
He looked up and sighed at the expression he found on their faces
"I have never tortured them before or have I??" Damon pondered although he masked his expression with an expressionless face.
"What happened to the other one?" His cold voice resounded
"It had been implemented by the ones in the human realm, my lord" The Council of Elders replied.
Damon shoots a piercing gaze at him
"The perpetrator is apprehended and they're on their way as we speak" He replied.
Damon raised a brow at him, and the one who had spoken felt his legs grow weak, he knelt on the floor and bowed his face to the ground.
"What the heck is he doing??" Damon thought as he saw the situation unfolding.
The tension was high in the execution room, Damon sighed out loud which made every member of the werewolf council shiver.
The tension was relieved by the presence of a young man having an ivory skin tone, brown long hair reaching his waist region with curls at the tip, clad in a blue robe with a white sash tied to his waist.
He was the second-in-command in administering justice to the people, Damon's Beta.
His name is Jack.

The execution grounds opened and they were relieved by the presence of the ones who had entered.
Hazel was shedding tears although she never knew why, she understood that entering the werewolf council meant one thing - That she was going to face judgment and it was not going to be a good one.
The look on their faces made her a little bit scared, they were looking at her like ravenous wolves ready to devour her.
"What is with all these looks?" She pondered, she knew for a fact that she had entered the den of wolves and she was not going to leave this den unscathed.
One of the Council of Elders stood up and cleared his throat
"You've betrayed the pack and the consequences of such will be dire," He said.
Hazel was confused about the whole situation
"How has she betrayed the pack??" Hazel wondered to herself as curiosity set in, she wanted to know what exactly had she done.
"You sold the former strategy to the human realm". One of the Council of Elders said
"Any evidence??" Hazel asked although she was a little bit scared.
"I'm a witness" she heard a voice as she was surprised at the one who had entered the execution grounds.
