Chapter 4 Wait, his fiancée !

Georgina's POV

I was too stunned because of what he said. Did I become someone's fiancée out of the fucking blue?! This is not the reason why I'm here! I need to explain to this woman.

"Love, this is my maternal cousin, Maxine Sanders. Maxine, this is the woman that I've been talking about. Her name is Georgina Louise," Livius says.

I feel like my world changed in a split second, and I'm already tied to it.

I stood up and looked at him for a bit. "Livius, you need to explain to me later on. Hi, I'm Georgina; nice meeting you, Ms. Maxine," I remarked, switching my glance to her and offering my hand. She gave me those suspicious glances.

Livius stood up and wrapped his other hand around my waist. "Livius? I thought you didn't want random people to call you by that name?" she says.

She just grabs my hand for a bit and let's go. I was surprised because of what she said.

"I'm serious, Maxi. Besides my parents, my children and especially my wife are the people who can call me by that name. Everyone has no right to call me by my second name. All of you should only address me by my first name, Alexandro," Livius explains.

Is that the reason why he told me to call him Livius instead of Sir or Mr. Sajavedra?

But why is he telling her cousin that I'm his fiancée? I know there's a reason behind that. I will force him to explain it to me.

"Alright. But what is this?! Are you out of your mind?! No offense, okay?" Maxine says.

I wonder why people always say no offense to save their faces.

"Maxine, we will talk later on. Don't spoil this moment for me and my fiancée. That's what I need you to do," Livius asserted firmly.

His eyes were glaring at her. I saw how Maxine turned pale and seemed to be afraid. I coughed. Livius looks at me.

"You shouldn't speak with her like that, Livius. She's your cousin. Anyway, here's my card. You can call me if you want to talk to me, Maxine," I remarked.

I give her my calling card. Livius was about to get it instead, but I grabbed his wrist.

"Don't tell me your name now is Maxine? Livius, we need to talk. I'll see you later for dinner. I know you still have work to do. Here, Maxine," I remarked.

I held her hand and placed my card on her palm. She takes it and leaves. I take a deep breath. My eyes glared at the man who put this ring on my finger.

I was about to take it off when he stopped me. I raise my hand and bite his palm. He groans.

"Let's talk over dinner. Don't take it off," he growls.

I gulp. His eyes were cold but threatening. I sighed and fixed my things. He grabs my bag and takes the folder where I place the contracts. He raised it and showed it to me.

"I will take this. Let's discuss some matters later. Can I have your calling card? I will call you and tell you the name of the restaurant," Livius says.

I opened my bag and found my calling car. I give it to him. I look at his face one last time. I sighed and looked away. He grabbed my chin and waist at once and claimed my lips.

I want to push him, but he's stronger and more persistent. He let go of me and spoke even if our upper lips were still touching each other.

"I'll see you later, love," he sexily whispers.

I walked away as fast as I could. I don't know why, but it feels like something weird will happen from now on.

I get inside the elevator and shake my head. I know this is just a joke. I have to give this ring back later!

...

I went home early because I had to talk to my son and tell him that I couldn't join him for dinner because I needed to meet with someone.

"Is it a date, mommy?" Alejandro asks.

My lips agape. It's not a date. It is not, but why I can't say those words to Alejandro? I held him closer and made him sit on my lap.

"If I ever want to date someone, would you hate it? You can tell me so Mommy will know what to do," I mumbled. He shakes his head right away and smiles.

"It's okay, mommy. Find a great and loving daddy, okay? I've been asking you that, remember?" Alejandro says.

My lips agape because of surprise. I end up laughing because of what he says. I pinch his chubby cheeks.

"Why, are you tired of me being your daddy?" I ask. I start tickling him, and he laughs. I stop after I much his cheek.

"This isn't a date, honey. Mommy needs to talk to this man about an important matter. As for your wish of having a dad...

I don't know if I can find you. So you and I will be stuck together forever," I mumbled. He embraces me. His lips landed on mine.

"It's okay, Mommy. I will protect you forever," he says. That melts my heart. I never thought my son would say those words.

I fed him first before I left the house. It's already 6:30 pm. I don't care if I'll be late. It's my way to tell him that I'm not impressed with what he did.

That's not what I wanted from him. I arrived at this expensive restaurant of this five-star hotel at exactly 7:10 pm.

The staff seemed to know me because they told me to follow them when they heard my name.

He was in a corner, near the glass wall, drinking champagne while looking at the city lights. I noticed that ten of the tables were reserved.

I walked closer and pulled the chair in front of him. "You made me wait," he says.

I just look at him coldly. "Then you can leave if you want. I can eat dinner on my own," I replied.

His eyes look at me. I feel that creeping coldness crawling in every part of my body. I gulp. I think I should've apologized instead.

"Are you mad because of what I did?" he asks. I raised my palm and showed him the ring he put on my finger.

"Take it off yourself. I have no time for your joke, Mr. Sajavedra. If you don't want to work with us, then say it in my face," I mumbled.

He grabbed the bag that he placed on his side. He takes out the folder when I keep the business contract between us if he agrees to work with us.

He slid it on the table until it stopped in front of me. I opened it. My eyes dilated. He already signed it.

He also changed the years I put on it. He puts 30 years! What is she trying to say?!

"What is the meaning of this? What about your lies with your cousin? How about this ring, huh? Tell me!" I roared.
