Kyle gave a cocky smile. He had been ranked among the most handsome men on the American continent and this did not displease him.
- Yes, just after Justin and Alexander. I wonder why I'm not at the top of the rankings.
- I don't know that, sir, but my daughter finds you the most attractive, replied the bartender, filling his glass which was empty.
"Your daughter has a good eye," Kyle said, taking a sip of his drink. How old is she?
The bartender glared at him. Kyle raised his hands in a peace sign.
- Don't worry Robert, I won't touch her.
The bartender served another customer and resumed his work.
- I don't understand why she doesn't like me, I do everything but she doesn't even notice me.
- Who are you talking about, sir? asked the bartender.
- Nobody Robert, I thought out loud.
Kyle finished his drink and was about to leave when the bartender stopped him.
- Whoever it is, I would advise you to give them flowers, women love that. The bartender told him.
-Thank you Robert.
He left, reconsidering what the bartender had told him. He took out his cell phone and called a flower company. This was not in his habit but after all there is a first time for everything.
Roxana had, after a long time of work, decided to take a well-deserved break. She was going to get something to eat when Harper, a receptionist came to her with a flower delivery man all smiling.
- Roxy , this young man has a package for you.
- Thanks Harper.
The receptionist gave him a warm smile before disappearing.
- Are you Roxana Gonzalez? asked the delivery man.
- Yes, it's definitely me, she replied.
- It's for you, please sign it.
She signed and the delivery man handed her the bouquet of tulips, her favorite flowers. The delivery man was leaving when she stopped him.
- Wait.
- Yes, miss?
- Who is it from?
The delivery man gave him an apologetic look.
- He did not want to give us his identity but there is a card that accompanies the flowers.
She looked at the bouquet and saw that there was exactly one card.
- Thank you very much.
- I'll take it from you, miss.
Once the delivery man left, she unfolded the card:
<< For the most beautiful flowers in the world, signed KC>>
- No, but I don't believe it.
She stormed off and arrived in front of Kyle's office or at least the principal's office that Kyle occupied, she opened the door without knocking. She saw him sitting regally in the armchair, phone to his ear. He motioned for her to sit down and continued his call as he stood up. Roxana wouldn't admit it but Kyle Cyrus was incredibly beautiful. He had jet-black hair that he took the time to style carefully, an imposing build and impressive musculature that he highlighted with his half-buttoned shirts highlighting a light fleece. He had a sharp-cut face and strong jaws, a devastating smile that would melt more than one person, and the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen. Kyle Cyrus had two magnificent sea blue eyes which when he smiled tended to take on the color of the sea. In a word, Kyle Cyrus was virility and beauty made flesh and the most annoying thing was that he knew it and didn't hesitate to use it.
- Yes I know, I'm a true masterpiece , they call me the Apollon of modern times, Kyle told him as he sat down.
She realized that she had gone far in her contemplation and that he had noticed it given her arrogant and proud smile.
- What is this sensational entry worth to me? asked this one.
Roxana decided to calm down. He had caught her looking at him and if she wasn't careful he was going to use it to destabilize her.
"I came for that," she replied, placing the flowers on the table.
Kyle just shrugged.
- I don't see what's wrong with these flowers, I even think they're magnificent but not as much as you.
- Don't act innocent, I know you're behind this whole circus. She replied, getting up.
Kyle got up in turn, he lingered on her pretty pink lips that he dreamed of kissing now. She noticed him and looked away.
- Maybe you think I would be stupid to throw myself into your arms just for a simple bouquet?
- They're tulips and from what I know they symbolize love, Kyle told him proudly as he sat down.
She smiled back at him, raising her chin in a proud manner.
- that's generally speaking, sir. These are yellow and they are considered a declaration of hopeless love, or a message of joy or even a symbol of the sun. You missed it.
Kyle didn't let go of his eternal smile, he stood up again and leaned on the desk.
- I don't care about these stupid meanings anyway. I just wanted to reiterate my dinner invitation.
Roxana smiles in turn, bringing her face closer.
- And I reiterate my answer Mr. Cyrus, it's still no.
She stood up completely and headed towards the door. She stopped and went to the trash can.
- This is what I do with your miserable flowers, she said to him, brandishing them.
She opened the trash can and threw them in, then with a smile she went out and slammed the door with a loud bang .
Left alone, Kyle stared at the door for a moment before his phone brought him back to earth.
- Justin, what joy? he replied ironically.
- I love you too Kyle. He replied. But let's just call you to tell you that I'm finally coming home tomorrow. I decided to sort everything out as quickly as possible.
"You're the boss," Kyle replied before hanging up.
He began to pace around the office nervously, but his phone rang again.
- Justin, I thought we were done.
- Kyle, you're the one who hung up on me. What is it?
- Everything is fine Justin, everything is fine I assure you, replied Kyle.
- If you say so. I just wanted to have a suite prepared for my arrival, can you do that for me? asked his friend.
Kyle earlier saw an opportunity to see Roxana again And to make her pay for her insolence.
- Of course yes, your suite will be ready before you arrive. Kyle replied as he headed towards the exit.
- That's perfect, thank you Kyle.
He put his phone away after hanging up. And walked confidently towards the employee canteen.
-Both of us, Roxana .
