Chapter 7 HEA VII

'A heart that's full up like a landfill

A job that slowly kills you

Bruises that won't heal'

Silence filled her mind, focusing something in the middle- searching, craving and yearning for that something; that she knew, impossible to reach...

'You look so tired, unhappy

Bring down the government

They don't, they don't speak for us'

Her chest is heavy, difficult in breathing, eyes stinging. Questions filling her head with unknown, yet, she continues on walking throughout the darkness.

'I'll take a quiet life

A handshake of carbon monoxide'

Her pace getting faster, her movement a bit quicker- she's running, chasing that light. Wet, there's something dripping, water rippled, she's walking on top of the water, endless, leading her into the abyss.

Tap, tap, there's a tap on her shoulder that brings out a loud scream from her throat before she jolts out. Ana, snapped her eyes open with heavy breaths as she glanced around her, realizing- music still playing through her earphones.

She then glanced at the hand on her shoulder- it's from her brother.

"Are you alright?" He worriedly asked.

She licked her lower lip, slowly nodding her head, "Y-yeah, i think" She gulped, rubbing her nape from the careless action.

"We've already reached our destination" He seemed to notice the confusion in her face about why he woke her up so he gestured outside.

Ana, who just woke up from her dream gaze outside the window and he's right- they're already here. Rows of buildings welcomed her sight, majestic structures that brought her back to the ancient times. She can also spot the eiffel tower like in the middle of the quadrangle, a massive bell hanging from it.

Shifting her gaze, she found the luggage near the waiting area together with the two personnel of the university.

Heaving a deep breath, she nodded before stepping out of the vehicle with him. Roaming her eyes around, she's in a deep awe. 'Damn, this is it. My dream, our dream' She whispered in her mind, grasping the clove pink pendant on her neck.

"Miss Viotto" The headmaster greeted with a smile etched on his lips.

"Mr. Maier" She nodded her head in greeting.

"Welcome to Vienna National University, Mister and Miss Viotto" The other two personnel greeted.

Ana, with a smile on her lips, nodded her head in acknowledgement. "Thank you for letting us in here, Mr. Maier" She uttered, "You don't know how much we really wanted to study here"

"It's all our pleasure, Ms. Viotto" He suddenly waved his hand, "Although I wanted to help you around, I still needed to attend some meeting. You wouldn't mind, do you?"

Ana laughed and waved her hand as an answer, "Of course, we wouldn't mind. We wish you luck tho"

"I'm glad" He chuckled before gesturing to his subordinate, "This is Ms. Bauer and Mr. Augustin, they'll take you to a tour" He introduced "I shall take my leave first"

Bowing, he then left, leaving only her and her brother together with the two other personnel and their butler. The girl with brunette hair is Miss Bauer, the principal and the other one with Brown curly hair, Mr. Augustin, their homeroom teacher.

"Before we tour around, would you like to see your room first?" Mr. Augustin asked before they could depart.

"Sure, Sure, Sure!" Lace exclaimed with excitement, "I heard that Vienna's Dormitory was the best amongst of all"

The two personnel laughed with his words, joking around as they started walking towards the east wing building with the butler carrying their luggage behind. She silently watched them, often roaming her eyes around. She can feel their eyes penetrating onto them, who wouldn't?

They suddenly came out of nowhere and it's winter semester, thus, the school year starts summer. She could easily read their mind; Money, the thing they can think of as soon as their suv, Rolls-Royce Cullinan which cost over 45 Million Euro, welcomed their curious eyes.

Students here in VNU aren't basic but not grand too. Some are average, who depend on their parents, some work their own and some are just purely aristocracy.

While thinking, she noticed that they arrived in front of a massive door, just like ones in a palace and students; boys to be exact were passing by, in and out of the building. Boys Dormitory, she concluded.

"This is the boy's dormitory and there's the girl's dormitory" Mr. Augustin gestured to them.

Ana, humming softly and nodded her head. "Then, we'll make our way then" She bid a glance at her brother before Ms. Bauer led her to the girl's dormitory.

"WELCOME to Flumen Residence" Two girls wearing a garnet and dark combined uniform greeted them, a female warden.

Nodding her head, she glance at Ms. Bauer "Flumen?"

Ms. Bauer chuckled, smile forming in her eyes, "Yes, this is called Flumen"

They continued walking straight, girls watching them as they passed by.

"How about the other dorm?" She plainly asked.

"Riparius Residence, dorm for boys" Ms. Bauer glanced at her. Seeing her curious gaze, she smiled and turned to the side- a beige stoned steps. "After you," She gestured.

"Thank you" Ana silently muttered before stepping into the steps.

"Why?" She suddenly asked amidst their steps.

"Vienna National University" Ms. Bauer started, "Vienna was from Wiena, a river that leads to Austria" She glanced at ana, "A forest Creek to be told"

Ana furrowed her brow in confusion, seeing this, Ms. Bauer let out a chortle.

"Flumen the methane rivers or channels on Saturn's moon Titan" She explained "Whilst, Riparius comes from the Old English, The riverbank"

"So, For short, They were named after the University's Name, Vienna, A forest Creek?" Ana pursed her lips.

"You're smart" Ms. Bauer chuckled before leading her to her room, the Fifth Floor where students with high privilege live.

"This is your room" Ms. Bauer uttered after they reach a large beige door, "You can request to change your door color or anything inside into your liking" She carefully pushed the door open, "But we made sure to follow the preferences your sister provided"

Ana stepped inside the room, her jaw dropping from the scene. She was awestruck with amazement visible in her eyes.

"This is so cool" Her eyes glimmered with joy, "Thank you, Ms. Bauer" She glanced at the lady.

"If nothing else, I shall go on my way" Ms. Bauer bowed, "Just ring the bell and someone will be on their way" Ana just waved her hand, dismissing the lady before she shut the door closed.

The enchanting space she just entered seems not a room but a sanctuary filled with wonder and beauty- The Miss really knows her preferences.

As she stepped inside further, she was greeted by the soft glow of sunlight streaming through large, arched windows, illuminating the room in a warm and inviting light. The air is fragrant with the delicate scent of blooming flowers, adding an extra layer of magic to the atmosphere.

At the center of this dreamy bedroom lies a magnificent lotus-shaped bed that seems to bloom right from the floor. The bed's petals are crafted from the softest materials, inviting you to sink into its embrace. Each petal is adorned with intricate designs that reflect the natural beauty of a garden in full bloom. The colors are a delightful mix of soft pastels, with shades of pink, lavender, and green blending harmoniously together.

The walls of the room are decorated with stunning lilac and lotus motifs. These decorations aren't just about beauty but also tell a story of tranquility and peace. The lilacs are painted in gentle hues, their flowers almost appearing to sway with the breeze. Symbolizing her name, it creates an atmosphere of warmth and comfort.

In one corner of the room, there is a small reading area with plush cushions and a cozy blanket with a wall built-in bookshelves, room size and full of books. Tables and things she needed for school are well-placed there.

Perhaps, later on, the room will transform even further so she went to the window- shutting them and letting the dark curtain cover the lights. Suddenly, Tiny lights, resembling twinkling stars, appear on the ceiling, creating a mesmerizing night sky. The gentle glow of these lights adds a sense of wonder, making it feel as if you are sleeping under the stars.

The lotus bed seems inviting her as a smile etched in her lips before she giggled, jumping onto the bed.

"Maybe, we'll tour later" She murmured, her head dizzy with the comfortness the bed offers.

Sighing softly, she let herself turn into the darkness, drifting off to the dreamland.
