Olivia and Roxy had just entered the hotel lobby when Carine Jackson was already waiting for them.
_ We're not done, sighed Olivia.
_ We can know why you are late, they asked them once they were at his level.
- We were stuck in traffic, Roxy replied.
- Be sure, this will be deducted from your salary, she continued coldly.
"That's up to me to decide," a voice growled behind them.
They all jumped and turned around. Justin walked quickly and arrived at their level in a flash.
- Ladies, go ahead and come to my office right away.
She simply nodded and followed him. He closed the door behind him and invited her to sit down. He took his seat in turn.
- Why do you allow yourself to reprimand my employees? he asked once more.
- I was only doing my job sir, they were late and I was only bringing them back to order. All in all, I am the manager of this hotel.
- Ex-manager he corrected.
- How ? she asked perplexed. You are telling me.....
- That I do without your services, I have heard about your way of managing and I can tell you that they are not favorable.
- But sir, let's see, who could possibly have told you such a thing? she asked nervously.
- I cannot give you my sources but I cannot keep you. You will be compensated for your good and loyal services. Now please close the door behind you.
She got up and without saying anything left the office. She looked visibly angry but Justin didn't care about this good woman's mood swings. He got up and started pacing his office nervously. His nerves were on edge, he kept seeing this young woman's face and it pissed him off. He took off his suit, took a glass of whiskey. He was about to drink it when the door flew open. He didn't have time to turn around because he already knew who it was.
- Kyle, he said simply.
- In the flesh my friend. Pour me a drink, please.
He served it and handed it to her. He came and sat down next to him and waited for him to speak.
- I was able to analyze the files and you were completely right. This bastard Gordon was really involved in some shady business but fortunately the hotel was not involved. What I was able to note on the hotel accounts was that there were incessant misappropriations of money. You're going to need enough strength to be able to get back up the slope.
- I have already made all arrangements for this. This hotel was my father's dream and I will do everything to make it look like it did before. Thanks Kyle, I owe you a big debt.
- But you're welcome my friend, that's what I'm here for. If you no longer need me I will let you work in peace. I have some things to sort out.
- Do these things have anything to do with the fact that there is new prey in sight? Justin asked amusedly.
- You know me my friend, I am a good hunter, no prey escapes me. So see you again. You know how to reach me if you need to.
Justin smiled as he saw his friend leave. Kyle was one of those people who were called Play boys. He always had a new conquest on his hands. For him, he had received a dream body so someone had to be able to benefit from it. It is true that he too was not exempt from reproaches but Kyle was a greater hunter than him. At one point in his life, he decided to settle down but ended up hitting a big rock. He had the misfortune of crossing paths with Madison Parks who turned out to be a greedy person and devoid of all human feeling. She was venal and only had love for herself. She had done one of those dirty things to him that he had sworn to never let any woman in his life fool him again, the experiences he had had served as a lesson to him. First his mother and then his ex-fiancée. He had already had his share of disappointments. Two knocks on his door brought him out of his torpor. The engineer who was to take care of the renovation work on the hotel entered preceded by his faithful assistant. They talked for a long time before finding common ground.
Once the interview was over, Justin decided to step out of his office for a bit. He began to wander the corridors of the hotel without knowing exactly what he was looking for. Deep down, he hoped to meet Olivia. He absolutely wanted to see her even for a moment. At the bend of a corridor, he heard a melodious voice. He stopped and looked for where it came from, without taking the time to knock, he opened the door slightly and saw it. She was busy making the bed. God, she was even more magnificent than he remembered. She finally turned around and her eyes met his.
Olivia felt a presence at her back. Without turning around, she knew it was him. She had smelled his manly perfume. She turned around and met his dark eyes. He fully entered the room. She couldn't help but detail him in all his forms. He was breathtakingly beautiful. He emanated such virility that she felt shivers run through her entire body. This immaculate shirt he wore highlighted the firm, bulging muscles. His facial jaw was constantly clenched which gave the impression that he was constantly in a bad mood. He moved forward with a confident, feline gait. He came to stop in front of her and began to look at her with a curious look.
- do you like your analysis? he asked suddenly.
She looked away, visibly troubled. He tilted her chin up and stared at her lips.
- I wasn't staring at you after all. she replied.
He raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced. He moved even closer until there was no distance between them. He brought his face closer to hers and against all odds he pressed his lips against hers. Olivia gasped in surprise.
