- I'll leave you, I still have work to finish. Said Roxy in the face of this silence which was becoming heavier.
She slipped away leaving them alone. For long, endless minutes, it was Justin who
broke the ice.
"Let me take you home," he said, more of an order than a
proposition.
_ It seems like you're giving me an order, she replied, daring to look him in
the eyes.
-Indeed, it is an order, he admitted. Now come.
He didn't even give her time to respond as he was already dragging her out of the hotel. A few minutes later she found herself in a luxurious car. He got behind the wheel. He took the exact route that led to her house.
- I see you know my address, she said, noticing.
-Of course, I know your exact address since it appears on your
file. He replied with a smirk.
-Oh... She replied simply.
Justin looked up and saw that she was eating her uncles blood. He saw
that she was nervous. This made him angry, an illegitimate anger that he couldn't explain. The journey was made in silence. He walked her to her door, once he was sure she was home safely, he left for his house.
Justin arrived at his apartment, he went straight to his bar, he took a glass of cognac which he drank in one gulp. He had to contain himself so as not to explode. He had always promised himself to have control over everything, he didn't want to be like his father who had been too fragile and who had died of grief. He had sworn to himself to always control his feelings but this young woman seemed to have shattered his efforts. He took a shower and went to bed because he was sure he needed to rest.

Olivia got up a little late, she quickly got out of bed, she took a quick shower before going out to find Roxy who had already finished eating breakfast. She handed him a steaming cup which she hastened to take.
_ Roxy, why didn't you wake me up? she asked her friend.
_ Because it's the first time in two years that I've seen you sleep so peacefully. Now tell me how it ended?
Olivia rolled her eyes, Roxy was one of those who enjoyed life as it came. She had lived a difficult life. An orphan, she grew up in orphanages and foster homes. All she knew was that she had been abandoned outside the hospital where she was born. His mother had at least had the decency to give him a name. Even though she seemed happy, Olivia knew that deep down she hoped for a better life, she aspired to build a life, to start a family.
_ Nothing happened Roxy. Olivia replied.
_You mean that this man, this Adonis accompanied you just like that? I don't believe it.
_ I remind you that "this adonis" is our boss so a little restraint darling. Plus it's so cold that I just get goosebumps when I see it.
_ Yeah that's it, and I am Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Seriously Olivia, you have a crush on him and I think you don't leave him indifferent, you seem to ignore him but I will prove to you that I'm telling the truth or my name is not Roxana Mélina Gonzalez.
_ In the meantime we are late. Let's go before they kick us out of the hotel.
Roxy wanted to retaliate but Olivia had already left, she raised her hands to the sky and promised herself not to leave her alone. She knew these two were going to end up together, she was sure of it.

Justin readjusted his suit, went down the stairs and found his friend Kyle, a glass of whiskey in hand. He smiled slightly. ''Holy Kyle,'' he said to himself. His friend had this habit of drinking early in the morning. He got up as soon as he saw him. He finished his drink and placed it on the table. He greeted his friend with his eternal smile on his lips.
_ Kyle, you will never change, always drinking early in the morning. Justin said once he reached his level.
_ You know what they say, dear friend, alcohol is like women. It's best early in the morning.
Justin remained perplexed, Kyle had these crazy theories that he didn't often understand but he liked them because they were often full of humor.
_What is the connection between drinking alcohol early in the morning and women?
_ Ah my friend, what would you be without me? There's nothing better than making love early in the morning, it's so enjoyable. And drinking alcohol is always more so, you should try it.
_ I still don't see the connection, replied Justin, visibly perplexed than he already was.
_Actually, there isn't, I love doing both early in the morning, that's all you need to know. Kyle replied with a completely amused look.
Justin shook his head slightly, Kyle had this habit of twisting his brain with his headless analyzes. Despite his ideas not being very understandable to him, Kyle was one of the best lawyers. That's precisely why Justin had called him.
He handed her a stack of files. To tell the truth, he wanted to be sure that this scum didn't trap him.
_ Can you analyze that for me? I have to be sure not to fall into a dead end like my father, I refuse to repeat the same thing.
_ You can count on me as always. Kyle replied.
_ You are a wonderful friend, the best ever, said Justin sincerely.
_ I love you too, Justin, Kyle replied, coming to hug him.
Something Justin hated, he knew Kyle was just doing it to make him angry but he decided not to let it fool him.
_ By the way, how is our little African? Kyle asked suddenly once they were in the elevator.
Justin acted as if he hadn't heard anything.
_ More seriously Justin, I know you. You didn't ask me for information about her for nothing and you know it very well. I observed it while you were not yet here, I had the privilege of knowing your employees before you and I can tell you that this young woman is pure. She's not like us so leave her alone, don't break her.
_ It's up to me to judge Kyle, I didn't tell you that I was interested in her. Stop giving me advice when we know that you are not free from reproaches and I don't plan to go out with this girl, she's a kid after all.
Even though he had a straight face, Justin was seething inside, Kyle was his long-time friend and he knew him better than anyone. He had been right and even if he refused to admit it, Kyle had been right. He was starting to be interested in Olivia, he knew that if he continued he was going to end up breaking her, she was too good for him. His mind and his reason told him not to approach her but his heart, which he had thought frozen since the Madison Parks episode, told him to get closer to her.
