Chapter 4 Revealing Mysteries

"For real" She muttered and walked into the bathroom.

"Boss" Puma bowed when Axe showed up in the living room.

"Is there a problem?" Axe asked.

"You have to see this boss" He immediately gave Axe his phone.

Axe frowned when he saw Michelle in the video.

"What's the meaning of this?"

"It was taken last night boss,,she was coming out from second boss's suite again,she was arranging her clothes....."

"Shut up!!!!" Axe yelled angrily,his eyes turned red at once.

"What exactly are you trying to say?!! That he fucked her or what?"

"Seems......so...boss" Puma muttered.

Axe stormed out immediately and Puma followed as well.

He was going to Kaine's office but fortunately,he met Kaine on the way,he was also with Fang who was busy showing him something on the ipad he was holding.

"Stop right there" Axe said.

Kaine and Fang looked up at the same time.

"What is the meaning of this shit? It's not what I'm thinking right?" Axe stretched the phone in his hand but Kaine didn't take it from him,his hands remained in his pocket.

"I'm talking to you bastard!" Axe yelled and Fang took the phone from him,he watched the video and looked at Puma.

"Whatever she was doing in your room,I hope it's not what I'm thinking......"

"What are you thinking?" Kaine asked calmly and that doubled Axe's anger.

"Did you fuck her you bastard!" He yelled.

"I guess" Kaine muttered.

"What?!!" Axe grabbed his collar angrily,the vein in his neck visible.

Kaine looked at Axe's hand on his collar and then back to his face.

"Let me go or you might regret it" He muttered.

"How dare you touch what's mine!! How dare you!!!" Axe yelled,raising up his fist to punch him but Kaine didn't flinch.

"How can you still remain calm in this situation,I want to kill you right now!!" Axe shouted again.

"That noise is unnecessary!"

They heard a voice from the back and Axe looked up to see Queen mother approaching with her guards behind her.

"Leave him alone Axe"

"You don't even know what he did...."

"Let him go!" Queen mother shouted and Axe released Kaine who rolled his eyes and adjusted his shirt well.

"Is this about the girl you brought into this place?" Queen mother asked.

"She's mine mom,I fucking made it clear enough" Axe snapped.

"I heard you hung her just yesterday and placed her life on the line for Kaine to save" Queen mother said.

"That was because.....I wanted to teach her a lesson" Axe replied.

"This is so simple guys,I don't like seeing you two fight so let's settle this legally and officially" Queen mother said and the two young men looked at her.

"How about a game? The winner will take the girl and the other person will have no right over here again" Queen mother said.

"I'm not interested in any fucking game,that girl is mine alone! Mine!" Axe yelled.

"Then she's for Kaine as well....the moment you used him to save her life,I prefer fair games" Queen mother said.

Axe glared at Kaine.

"Fine,what's the game?" He asked.

"Car racing,you two will go on four laps and the winner will have the girl" Queen mother said and a smile escaped Axe's lips.

"I'm in" He immediately said.

Queen mother looked at Kaine who remained quiet.

"Kaine?" He called.

"I'm in" He mumbled.

"Good....Fang,make an announcement immediately,the race will begin in two hours,arranged all the necessary before then" Queen mother said and walked away.

Axe glared at Kaine who last time before storming off,Puma ran after him.

"Can't believe that bastard recorded that shit" Fang scoffed and turned back to look at Kaine only to find there empty,he was gone with no trace.

"Michelle!!!Michelle!!!" Martha rushed into the room,breathing heavily,Michelle opened her eyes,she was sleeping.

"How can you be sleeping in this situation!! There's a problem! Wake up!" Martha screamed and Michelle sat up.

"Problem? What problem?" She asked.

"You won't believe what's about to happen! There's an announcement...Axe and Kaine will be competing against each other in a car race!" Martha shouted and Michelle was confused.

"How is that a problem?"

"You don't get it! Queen mother brought up the idea,the winner will have you!! You're the prize Michelle,you!!"

Michelle blinked.

"Huh??" She was confused.

"This means,if Axe win the race,,you will keep being his doll, and if Kaine win he will have you instead" Martha explained and Michelle's eyes widened.

"What?!" She sprang up.

"What do you think? This is so bad right?"

"No...not that bad if Kaine wins"Michelle muttered.

"There's no chance he's going to win michelle " Martha shook her head.

"What.....what...why?" Michelle stuttered.

"Everyone in the empire knows...Axe is a pro when it comes to car racing,He's won against other bad racers countless times"

"What about Kaine?"Michelle asked,with sad eyes.

"I've never seen him drive a car,he love bikes instead,and you know riding a bike is totally different from driving a car,a race car precisely" Martha said.

Michelle started biting her fingers.

"So you're saying,,Queen mother intentionally made this up to favor her son?" She asked.

"We can say that"

"When is the race?"Michelle asked.

"In two hours"

Michelle started pacing,biting her nails.

She was restless already...she can't still imagine her under Axe after what he made her pass through,after all the tortures,after the beatings.

'Kaine has to win...he has to' she was saying inwardly.

"I understand what you're thinking,but we shouldn't just give up like that,we can still trust in Kaine right?" Martha asked.

"You said you've never seen him drive"michelle faced her and she sighed

TWO HOURS LATER, EMPIRE RACE TRACK*

The race track was buzzing with excitement. The mobsters filled every corner, eager to witness the high-speed action. The track was massive, with steep bleachers and a long straightaway. The crowd was electric, all eyes fixed on the two sleek race cars parked side by side. One was black as coal, the other white as snow.

"I still don't understand the hell is going on here,Axe and Kaine competing because of one poor bitch? Who the hell is she?" Sapphire asked,looking so angry and pissed.

"She's right there,that's the bitch" Sunny pointed at Bluey who was just coming with Martha. .

"What's going on? The last time I checked,Kaine is never interested in any girl or Axe's dolls,is there anything special about her?" Billie asked.

"There's nothing special about that bitch,stop making me mad. I feel like killing her already" Sapphire snapped and Billie kept quiet.

Sunny also hissed.

Sapphire's eyes fell on michelle again,she was glaring at her hatefully from where she was sitting.

"But anyways,we all know Axe is gonna win this" Billie chuckled.

"Obviously,if that slut thinks she can have my Kaine,dream on,I'm going to kill her if I see her close to him" Sapphire rolled her eyes.

As the queen mother arrived, the atmosphere shifted. Everyone bowed their heads in respect as she made her way to her seat. The tension was palpable, the air thick with anticipation.

Suddenly, two figures emerged from the pit lane. Kaine and Axe, dressed in their racing suits, they walked towards their cars. Their helmets and gloves gleamed in the sunlight. The crowd erupted in cheers as they climbed into their vehicles, ready to put the pedal to the metal.

Kaine used the white car and Axe used the white.

Axe turned to glare at Kaine from his car before wearing his helmet but Kaine was looking somewhere else,Axe followed his eyes and they landed on michelle whose eyes were also directed toward them but he wasn't sure if michelle was also looking at Kaine.

Kaine stopped looking at her and wore his helmet,,Axe also did.

The black car roared to life, its engine purring like a beast. The white car followed suit, its tires screeching as Axe took his place on the starting grid. The crowd held its collective breath, waiting for the green flag to drop and the race to begin.

The queen mother raised her hand, and the silence was deafening, she waved the green flag and immediately the two cars sped off at once.

Michelle swallowed hard as she watched the cars disappeared, they will be going back and forth, four times she was breathing so fast that she couldn't control it.

But behind her she could see people pointing at her and whispering among themselves.

👤 She's the one they are competing for?

👤 I've never seen boss Kaine like this,what's going on?

👤 I still can't believe she's the reason why the boss played along with Axe.

👤 What is she to him?

'I'm nothing to him'Michelle replied in her head.

Suddenly she heard screams and immediately looked up.

"That's Kaine!" She said excitedly as Kaine's car showed up first.

Everyone screaming and hyping,Axe's car was just behind him closely,soon the two cars were out of sight again.

Axe arrived first in the second round,,he arrived first in the third round also.
