Chapter 3 Linda's Accusation

IRENE'S POV

The pain of my rejection was still a fresh wound inside me.I crawled into a ball crying and feeling pathetic.l was soon destined to be a slave to one of the most feared packs and l hope that whichever pack that takes me will allow me take a few things, especially my mother's scroll.

I walked towards the kitchen and my eye went wild as the lead omega came running,pulling me by my arm .Everything has to be perfect she said, the Luna instructed that you bake your best pastry.lt's for Alpha Darren.Please don't mess this up or we are all doomed,she said looking worried.They can even make you the chief baker .if i'm lucky plum .l said through our mind link. I began whipping up my best chocolate cupcakes and the whole kitchen was engulfed with its aroma that few of the omegas smiled at me.

As l was about bringing the last batch, Alpha Claypole came in with Linda and his beta Fagin.There she is dad.Tell her to give them back to me Linda says crying ,making everyone turn and look at her.

Alpha looks on me was deadly filled with disappointment.He sighs and gestures to his beta to grab me.I always know you are a fly in an ointment Irene .How could you steal from my soon to be daughter in law?making me confused .What? I didn't steal anything.The glare on Linda's face shows she is setting me up. You stole my expensive earrings give them back to me she said making me more confused.l don't know what you are talking about.l swear l didn't take anything .l pleaded, looking at Alpha Claypole.

Shut up,he says striking me with the back of his hand on my face .l will make you an escape goat so as to serve a lesson to anyone who will take what doesn't belong to him.His beta dragged me out of the kitchen making heads to pop out of the window to look at the commotion.l didn't steal anything.l pleaded as Fagin drag me towards the dungeon.So you are calling me a liar Linda said,l trusted you enough to be the only one that cleans my room and look at how you repay me.

Enough,Sikes said coming out with nothing but pyjamas .My eyes went wide as l saw the mark on his neck.l realized Linda has been marked .They have completed their mating bond .For long she has longed to be his Luna

Irene why are you letting them take you away,plum yelled in my head.Tell then it's not you.The plum tree in my palms is twisting to sprout out .l closed my palm as my eyes is on fire just to avoid more trouble.plum is running mad in my head

I told you l will deal with you later ,you pathetic mutt.Linda said as she tosses the keys to one the she wolf .The girl locked the door as she and the other four she wolves entered my cell.

The four make sure they grab my palm and hold me.l try to escape and resist them but l couldn't .Linda you don't have to do this .l swear l didn't take your earrings. I am not a thief.Do you really think this is about stupid earrings? She chuckled .Then ,l feel a heavy blow on my stomach,the pain exploded to my brain. I am afraid of what you would have become. Another blow hitting my ribs.

Do you really think l don't know that Sikes is your mate? My eyes widened.She laughs hysterically. Oh my goodness! girls ,she really thinks Sikes would claim her .She says pointing at me ,making the other girls burst out laughing.Look at you , you are a mutt, a nobody.Do you really think you can compare yourself with a top warrior,a goddess like me. I deserve the Luna title. I will make sure l make your life a living hell.She grabs my hair tighter as others hit me.My eyes filled with tears and plum whimper.

Girls l'm done here .give this mutt a thank you for my earrings.She says gesturing to the other four girls.Hell break loose.All of them start beating me.They kick me continuously ,punch me anywhere they like and scratch me at my already bruised body.All l can do it to fall into a ball, protecting my head as l take every hit until they had they fill.l can't help but cry to my parents for leaving me in this wicked world.l can faintly see a figure coming ,making the girls to stop before l pass out and l'm taken to my place of peace,my dream.l have been visiting this place full of beautiful flowers,my eyes always blaze purplish as the blue plum sprout to some length making me fly and the gentle voice that always call me Irene wake up
