Chapter 2 Meeting the Celestial moon and The Ember moon packs

Don't bother showing up tonight at the kitchen but don't be late for breakfast. The celestial moon and the Ember moon packs will be there and they will want you to serve .l will inform the kitchen that you are not feeling fine.Least l forget ,be on your best behaviour or l will make sure you spend your last days here in the dungeon.I told Irene as l left her house.

My heart race a million per second from the moment l left lrene's house.Irene is a beautiful girl any man can desire truth be told she is much more beautiful than Linda.She is nothing but an omega.l could never be seen with someone who is so weak . A cursed child rumour had it that her mother died immediately after giving birth to her and not only that she has a blue wolf with a black millennium soul ring around its body. She has a purple eyes and when she is threaten,a silver blue plum plant sprout out of her right palm.My wolf keep pestering me to claim her but l can't and l won't.l cannot have a weak luna.l need someone who can help me strengthen my pack not weaken it .My pack is my topmost priority. I can't deny that l"m worried.My dad has managed our pack poorly.Most of our members are weak.If it wasn't for me this pack would have extinct.My dad is greed and even if l am not yet an alpha,they have learned to respect and obey me more than they respect me.

I walked to the pack house. l need to talk to my parents concerning Linda.l have promised her marriage but it has to wait and the ceremony tomorrow has to be about me alone and l hope she will understand.

There you are sweetheart why didn't you tell me the good news? My mum said to me as she pulled me into a bear hug.What are you talking about mum? Stop being ridiculous sweetheart .l have heard the rumour and Linda just confirmed it. She told me you too has made it official.Congratulation sweet heart. l knew she is your mate.The moon goddess favoured you with a human goddess.Linda just cross her arm across her chest.l throw her a quizzical look.She knew l was pissed off and l will have to deal with her later.She wasn't supposed to tell anyone until after my alpha ceremony tomorrow.l smiled masquerading my anger.lt was supposed to be a surprise mum but l guess the cat is out of the bag now.l toss a glance at Linda.She bowed her head in shame. We will tell your father and l believe he will be very happy, my mum said with a smile on her face. Luna, there is a situation in the kitchen. The lead omega interrupted us . I was wondering if you can spare us a moment? She smiles and grabLinda's hand and they left for the kitchen.l ran my hand through my head and signed.Time to face my father .We need to discuss the terms of the treaty with the Celestial moon pack and the Ember moon pack for we needed their protection from the rogue king.Our number has dwindled the last time he attacked.l can't fathom the reason for his attack on our pack perhaps our fiance.

I was a bit relieved after getting rid of Irene.She will be one less burden.lf the moon goddess favoured me she will be a slave to the celestial moon pack and l pray they tortured her very well.pathetic! Imagine being my luna.

Good evening dad l said as l entered our pack house and sitting with him are the Ember moon entourage .Greetings, welcome to shadow moon pack l said.l sure you have a long drive ,why don't we eat as we await the arrival of Celestial moon pack? I said to them. What about you Sikes l heard you are about to take the lead in this pack? Are you ready and excited? Alpha Khalid asked me. I clench my jaw and give my dad a bothered look.Ready as ever. I have been waiting for the past eight months.

Darling,the food is ready to be served,my mum said as she entered the house . Alpha l hope our hospitality is of your approval.Thank you we love it here for now ,he said.

The omegas came in cutting short our conversation as they begin to serve.Where is lrene? l thought l told the lead omega that she will serve tonight my dad asked? Alpha Claypole l apologised.Irene wasn't feeling too well she fainted while we are cooking the lead omega said making excuses for lrene.l asked her to go home.What do you mean she is not okay? She looks fine to me earlier Linda said .It just an excuse not to work. I need her here now! go and get her. My father yelled in his alpha voice making the lead omega to flinch.There are plenty of other omegas to serve.Let's just eat ,okay l said to my dad and give the omegas sign to start serving.

Alpha Darren and his entourage won't be joining us for dinner? My mum asked.No, Darren has a lot of things to attend to.He will be joining us tomorrow morning.Alpha Khalid replied smiling.

Oh! I guess l have to make sure we serve his favourite.What does he like? My mum asked, smiling.

Oh! he likes everything.He is not picky.But If your want to be on his safe side just bake him a sweet pastry and brew him a freshly strong coffee.He will love that, Alpha Khalid answered.Making l and my dad to chuckled
