Chapter 1 Home welcoming

Evelyn's POV

Our Alpha's first son, Crown Prince Noah Isaac is coming back from the Pack's University today.

It was a bright Saturday morning, and Queen Sabrina has given instructions to arrange the palace to look neat, sweeping and cleaning everywhere.

It was around 6 am, and many maids including myself works in this Alpha's palace were excited.

We eagerly cleaned up and waited to welcome Crown Prince Noah from the Pack's University.

Prince Noah went to further his training on becoming the next ruler of our pack, studying business and pack management in the Silvery Moon Pack University.

The Silvery Moon is blessed with many beautiful people. We have both the rich and the poor.

I am Evelyn Waylon, a poor Omega, from a lower class family. My skin was fair white and I had long blonde hair and blue eyes.

I was the only fair skin woman in this pack. Like I am was an albino, and the rest of us were browned skinned and black she-wolves.

Majority of my fellow pack members dislikes me. They grew jealous of me, wanting to beat me, or do things to make me sad.

They have yellow eyes, while the royal families have silver eyes, but I'm the only one with blue eyes.

I was considered a rare genetic trait, and some of the she-wolves thought that I didn't have a wolf. But after I turned fourteen years old, I met my wolf, Adeline.

But as an Omega, I couldn't go to the woods alone to shift. I was scared; what if there was a big bad wolf waiting there to devour me or tear me apart?

I have heard stories of some she-wolves going into the forest to find their mate and also mating with some shameless male wolf.

So because of this, I was scared to go into the woods to shapeshift. My wolf was white, while the others have brown or black wolves.

Some she-wolves gossiped that my wolf would be colourless, because of my complexion difference. But I only overlook their mockery.

The Silvery Moon pack is developed, having many beautiful houses for the rich families and bungalows for the poor lower class families like the omegas. Some also lived in group, but were in the same werewolves community and governed by Alpha Wells Isaac.

What led me to work in the Alpha's mansion, also known as our royal palace, was because my parents were extremely poor, and they could barely provide for me or my siblings.

I have four younger siblings: two twin brothers and two twin sisters.

My twin brothers were Matt and Max, aged 10 years, while my twin sisters are Rebecca and Ruth, both age 12 years old. And they were schooling in the Pack's Academy.

Alpha Wells Isaac was a generous man. He built the Pack's Academy and the Pack's University. He imported cars, phones, and so many other things to develop our pack.

Although some of our able warriors still use horses for riding, and going to war with the neighbouring pack, or when there's a rogue attack in any of our borders.

But the Silvery Moon Pack were indeed blessed with a wonderful Alpha family.

As our Alpha King ensured that every child in our pack must go to the Pack's Academy to get a basic education, where we learned to read and write.

I also went there and graduated three years ago, after which I applied as a maid in the palace.

Queen Sabrina had refused me when I arrived, but luckily, I got accepted because of the Alpha King.

"Hurry up, Evelyn! What are you still doing in your room? Prince Noah's car has arrived!" I heard my best friend in the palace, Becky Colt, shouted. So that I could hurry up and not miss his homecoming.

I didn't go to the Pack's University because it was expensive.

My poor parents couldn't afford the cost, making my dream of going to the Pack's University to study medicine unfulfilled.

I wasn't annoyed with my parents. I was contented and only wishing the moon goddess to bless me and make a way for me.

I had to become a maid, so that I can assist my siblings.

I was able to treat some common illness with the ancestral remedies I learned from my mother. Where I could wash herbs and mix them to cure different ailments for my fellow Omegas.

It was a gift I learned from my mother, because we were not as strong as the Alpha families that could heal on their own.

As Crown Prince Isaac was returning today, there was a royal ball celebration in honor of his welcome.

Many rich class she-wolves were happy, going haywire to welcome Crown Prince Noah.

I quickly dressed up in my room, wearing my blue maid dress and black shoes.

It was past noon when Prince Noah arrived and the jubilation in the palace shook the ground.

I finished adjusting my blue dress as was under Queen Sabrina's command that every maid working in the mansion must wear the blue uniform to identify ourselves.

I wasn't allowed to work inside the palace; my work was to sweep the palace field, clean the windows, and doors. And attend to the laundry that the other maids had brought.

For some unknown reason, Queen Sabrina hated me, so I had to obey her command unless I wanted to lose my job.

As I walked out of my maid's room at the back of the royal mansion, I walked to the front to of the palace and joined the other maids standing there in welcoming our crown prince.

I felt shaken like I was going to collapse.

Looking ahead at the open palace field, I saw the multitude of werewolves, struggling to catch a glimpse of crown prince Noah. They reach to touch him, as the guards wedge them back.

They gathered to welcome Crown Prince Noah, whose car parked.

The elders dressed in their white garments stood at the front of the palace to show their respect.

The pack's warriors stood guarding the prince's car, preventing the happy werewolves that wanted to rush to hug Crown Prince Noah.

At the front of the royal mansion, stood Alpha King Wells, his wife, second son, Prince William, and his only daughter, Princess Bella and her friend, Stella.

"Everyone, welcome, Crown Prince Noah Isaac of Silvery Moon Pack!" The king's beta, shouted, and all the happy werewolves bowed their heads to show their respect as Crown Prince Noah got out of his car.

He wore a black shirt, black trousers, and black shoes.

He was very tall, masculine, and dark-sknned, and his silver eyes searched the crowd and waved happily to everyone that has gathered in the palace field to welcome him.

I could feel my wolf fighting within me, as I caught the masculine scent of chocolate, more like coffee that filled my nostrils.

"Hmph, hmph!" I inhaled the chocolate scent once more, seeing Prince Noah also sniffed in the air in my direction.

His silver eyes landed on me, making me to muttered, "Mate!"

The happy werewolves shushed down and everyone's eyes landed on me.
