Chapter 4 Beauty in His Arms

"You... You are still here, you loser?" Olivia glared at Percy with her hands on her waist. She was still smelling of men's cologne and perfume, and her breath smelled of alcohol. Percy pinched his nose and shifted away from her in disgust.

[Ding! System detected that the host has faced a choice]

[First: kneel and beg Olivia for forgiveness so that you can retain your job]

[Reward: ninja turtle and cuckold master]

[Second: ignore Olivia and choose to remain in the house that you bought with your own money]

[Reward: Olivia favorability +10]

[Third: ignore Olivia and stay for one night at your house, then leave tomorrow]

[Reward: Olivia's favorability -20, the scenic villa no.1]

"Cool, Jillian, you even give rewards to me. That's awesome."

Percy raised his eyebrows in surprise; he wasn't expecting this package.

"Well, I choose three. I can't even stomach living in this house filled with adultery, but I can't just leave like that; I have to disgust her first."

Percy ignored Olivia and walked past her; from beginning to end, he didn't even acknowledge her presence.

"That b*st*rd, didn't he see me now? Why didn't he beg me to stay with him?"

Olivia frowned as she threw her bag in frustration; she was so used to getting what she wanted from Percy. He had always been at her beck and call, and she was so familiar with bossing him around that this treatment was unexpected. She was expecting him to buy her to stay in the house; after all, she knew how broke he was and that he had no money.

"B*st*rd! See if I would accept you when you come back later; starve to death outside and don't come back here."

"You....don't you dare think of locking that door? I can't hit you, but I can cause a lot of trouble for that b*st*rd boyfriend of yours?"

Percy glanced at the raging Olivia when he reached the door with a smile as he said.

"Lucas....what are you going to be able to do to Lucas? Just admit you want to stay in my house and stop the nonsense."

Olivia glared at Percy with disgust and amusement. This is how it should be; he should be my slave!

"I am currently unemployed; if your millionaire boyfriend wants to get dragged by the media tomorrow for stealing another man's girl, you can try it. I have evidence of our relationship, after all."

"You b*st*rd, Lucas will destroy you if you dare to do that...Ah, do you think he would go to such an extent for you? Who are you to him? I am sure you know already."

"A classless lady like you with no remarkable qualifications, you are just a fling; stop your daydream of thinking of being his wife; he would marry his class, so if you want him to dump you faster, shout the door."

Percy was too tired to yap nonsense with Olivia; every second with her was unbearable. He knew something: he would get back all the things that belonged to him.

"Hah! The air feels fresher. Is it because I have gotten rid of the baggage that was choking me?"

Percy greedily took in the fresh evening air, his eyes watering at the beautiful nightlife. It came to him that he had never really appreciated this gorgeous scenery. From when he could read and write, he was always doing things for people. He had to do assignments for others and tutor them to get money for his education. Then he would work part-time and then help to clean the orphanage.

After all this, he would get barely four hours of sleep daily. When would he get the time to appreciate beautiful sights or go for walks? As an adult, his life wasn't any better. He would work for longer hours than most because he had an intelligent brain. The company was exploiting him and making him walk to the bone. After all that, he came back to Olivia's nagging. He was barely getting sleep. How could he think of beautiful scenery?

"Somebody help me! A disordered voice rang out from a dark alley.

The voice was filled with majesty, but there was a hint of fear.

["Hmm, you are terrible luck. How come you got to see a kidnapping scene on my first night out?"]

Jillian's milky voice sounded as he sat down on Percy's shoulder. Except for Percy, no one else could see him, so Jillian had no qualms about exposing himself.

"Can you shut it?"

Percy rolled his eyes at Jillian as he picked up his phone and was about to call the cops.

[Ding! The host has a choice]

[One: leave Lisa's camper to the thugs and ignore her. Rewards: negative favorability from Lisa]

[Two: Wait for the cops to come and save her. Rewards: a million in cash and a good citizen award]

[Three: charge in bravely and save her from the thugs. Rewards: ten million in cash and body strengthening potion]

"This..." Percy, who was just about to call the cops, put his phone back in without hesitation.

He had two reasons. One was the system rewards, and it was more prosperous. The second was the identity of the Lisa camper; she was the daughter of the camper family, a wealthy aristocratic family with billions in net worth. If he could save Lisa, he could get her appreciation; that's more important than some good citizen award.

Without any hesitation, Percy charged into the dim alley. Immediately, he spotted the body bag about to be thrown into a van. Percy discreetly approached the van and knocked out the man holding the bag. There were three of them, and from the look of things, they were still amateurs. This was excellent news for Percy, who dealt with them immediately.

"Ahhh..." Percy's eyes were wide open as he stared at the beauty.

He had never seen such a beautiful woman in his entire life, with a small, gorgeous face, wavy chestnut hair, full and prominent lips, and golden dotted eyes. She was such a beauty, and now that beauty was looking at him with red-rimmed eyes. Her breath was uneven, and her body was boiling.

"Hah!" It took Percy a second to figure out the problem.

She was drugged!
