Chapter 3 Pretty Unconscious

"Damn it! Did they bring the wrong person?" Jack grumbled, immediately stepping out of his room.

Pretty, who had been pushed to the ground, was still slumped on the floor, crying with a broken heart and feeling the pain inflicted by Jack.

"Get out of here! You cheap woman! You're lucky to have had the chance to be with our boss," Luiz spat.

"You'll get your karma!" Pretty hissed as she struggled to stand and slowly walked toward the gate.

"Stop her!" Jack ordered, running down the stairs to the ground floor.

Luiz and Sandro, hearing their boss's command, immediately yelled at the woman, who was walking unsteadily.

"Stop!" Luiz and Sandro shouted as they chased after Pretty.

Pretty, walking in a very weakened state, tried to leave the place that had ruined her life. But soon after, she collapsed and lost consciousness.

"Hey... she fainted!" Luiz shouted as he approached the girl.

"Get the car ready!" Jack ordered as he ran toward Pretty and immediately carried her, rushing toward the car.

Twenty minutes later

Jack arrived at the hospital, got out of the car, and carried Pretty, running straight into the hospital. Guilt and anxiety filled him as he realized he had destroyed an innocent girl's life.

Pretty was quickly taken to the emergency room by nurses and doctors.

"Boss, let us wait here. How about you go back home first?" Luiz suggested.

"Tell me! Where did you find her?" Jack asked angrily.

"Sorry, Boss. It was raining heavily, and when we saw you couldn't hold it anymore, we forcibly brought this girl. She was standing in front of a shop on the side of the road," Luiz replied, not daring to meet his boss's gaze.

"You dare disobey my orders! I told you to bring me an escort, but instead, you brought me an innocent girl, and now I've ruined her life!" Jack shouted in anger.

"Boss, I'm at fault! I'm ready to accept any punishment!" Luiz said, bowing his head.

"When I get home, I will definitely punish you!" Jack scolded, roughly rubbing his face.

Half an hour later.

The doctor who had been treating Pretty came out of the emergency room.

"Are you the patient's family?" the doctor asked Jack.

"How is she?" Jack responded.

"The patient is in shock, and her uterus suffered a tear that required stitches. For now, she shouldn't move much and must stay in the hospital for further care," the doctor explained.

"Doctor, do your best for her, and arrange a VIP room for the girl!" Jack requested, filled with worry.

"Alright, I'll do as you ask," the doctor replied before walking away.

"I, Jack Harrison, have made a huge mistake tonight and ruined an innocent girl's future. What will happen when she wakes up? She's going to be completely devastated," Jack thought to himself.

"Sir, these are Miss Pretty's belongings," said a nurse, handing him Pretty's phone and ID card.

"Thank you," Jack replied with a flat expression.

Jack looked at the ID card, which revealed her name was Pretty Jolie, a French citizen.

"Her name is Pretty, she's only 23 years old, and she's just a regular employee at some company," Jack murmured while reading Pretty's ID card.

"Investigate her background! I want to know everything about her!" Jack ordered.

"Yes, Boss," Luiz answered, bowing his head.

Jack walked into the VIP room where Pretty was being treated. He finally saw clearly the face of the girl who had been his release earlier. She was a beautiful young woman, and even without makeup, her beauty was undeniable.

"Pretty Jolie, I've ruined your life. I'll take responsibility and marry you. From now on, you belong to Jack Harrison," Jack said, kissing Pretty's forehead.

"Pretty Jolie, since you've become my victim, I won't waste you. Tonight, you've saved me, and I'll repay you for the rest of your life," Jack added, touching her face gently.
