Chapter 7 I'M STILL THINKING ABOUT IT.

Days had passed since Damien opened up about his feelings for me, I wasn't sure how to react or what to feel..I knew he was my late mom's you get brother, but while we messed around, I kinda discarded that thought. but for the first time reality hit me differently. I started to see him as not only my uncle but my mother's younger brother and a man that way older than I am.

With that, I started avoiding having physical interactions with him and with time, I practically ghosted him. he noticed it but didn't say anything about it, and I on the other hand, I started hanging out more with Asaun. Damien noticed I always left home very early and came back late, he didn't question me about it and I was glad.

The main reason I started hanging out more with Asaun was to get my mind off Damien, I knew I had feelings for him too but I didn't want to accept it, so I saw Asaun as my getaway from my fucked up reality. hanging out with Asaun was basically just to have sex..I practically saw him as my sex and nothing more, I'm pretty sure he saw me the same way to, because after hanging out with him for over a month, he never once said he liked me or wanted to go out with me, and I was glad, I guess.

Damien soon found out about my affair with Asaun, and he did not take it lightly on both of us. he tracked me to Asaun's house and walked in on us having sex, I remember feeling so ashamed and embarrassed of myself, I felt dirty. he came over and pushed me off of Asaun, and hit him to he knocked him out, and then waited for me to finish dressing up before literally dragging me home.

Back at home, I was standing heads down in from of Damien while he screamed and shouted at me for betraying him and having another guy's dick inside me, I was starting to feel bad and guilty but I suddenly shouted "can you shut up Damien" he stopped what he was about to say next and stared at me visibly shocked, I continued "can you please stop making me feeling like a thing, I feel less of a human, you make it seem as though because you took me in then I owe my life to you, isn't it bad enough you turned your late sister's hold into your sex doll? why are you so triggered that I fucked another guy?" he also started screaming and said "I know I screwed up, that was why I confessed my feelings to you, I want to stop seeing you as my late sister's daughter so that I can stop feeling so guilty everytime I have sex with you, why is it so hard for you to understand me? even since I poured my heart out to you, you've been completely avoiding me and I never said anything because I didn't want it to seem as though I'm pressuring you into something you don't want, but you went behind my back to fuck another guy, don't I deserve to be mad? since I started having sex with you, I haven't slept with another woman, that's how much I respect you and want to make things right with you" he kept going on and on, while I stood there crying, and I could see that he was really hurt. he was trying so hard to fight back a tear, so he stopped talking and stormed out of the house. I was going crazy at this point and didn't know what to do.

He came back late in the night, very drunk and wasted, I tried to help him but he just pushed past me and went to his room, the next day he started avoiding me too, he wouldn't eat anything I prepared, he wouldn't talk to me, he was giving me more than a silent treatment, I soon started feeling like a ghost and felt I needed someone to confide in, since I had stopped therapy, I decided to go to Asaun's and on getting to his place, I caught him having sex with another girl, I felt so hurt and betrayed, I didn't see him as someone I could go out with so I honestly didn't understand my emotions at that point...I stood there for some minutes and none of them noticed my presence, soon anger started to creep in and I yelled in a very loud voice "ASAUN!!!! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?", the girl jerked up in fright but asaun was calm, he looked at me calmly before saying "aleisha, meet Brielle, she's my girlfriend" I stared in disbelief then blurted "wow, you were inside me just yesterday, and today you have a girlfriend?" I went on and on a out our endless escapades and notice the girl was starting to get pissed which literary brought joy to my heart, I called him all sorts of names and left there torn and disappointed.

I went and immediately blocked Asaun on IG, and stood staring at my bed with no clue in the world on what to do. Damien didn't come home that night, neither did he come home for the rest of the week, he later came home on the Wednesday of the next week, and seemed more like himself. I didn't talk to him because I didn't wanna get yelled at again, so I just kept my distance while observing him. I couldn't take it anymore and went to the kitchen to meet him, he stared at me and continued what he was doing and I noticed that he seemed to be debating with himself whether to say something or not, so I decided to talk "Damien, I have something to say......" he interrupted me and said "I want to talk to you aleisha" there was a minute of silence before he continued "I think I'll just go first, firstly I wanna apologize for my behavior, I shouldn't have lashed out at you for being with that guy, if he's going to make you happy, then you have my full support, I'm really sorry for everything I've put you through for the past few weeks, I..."

I interrupted him and said "I've given it a lot of thought and I want to be with you too Damien" he looked at me puzzled and asked "what about the other guy, I thought you guys had something" and I replied "oh Asaun, he a jerk and I want nothing to do with him anymore" he looked puzzled and I went on to tell him my confrontation with Asaun and everything that happened, he let out a sigh of relief upon hearing that I wasn't going out with Asaun, he then said "do you really want to be with me because you want to aleisha, and not because you feel pressures or obligated to" I nodded my head and said "I want to be with you damien not because I feel obligated to but because I..." I stopped and stared at him before saying "because, I love you Damien" after I said that, he couldn't hide his excitement and hugged me very tightly and said, I promise to treat you right, I love you too aleisha.

Then he went on to apologize for leaving me at home all by myself, I stopped him from talking with a kiss, he kissed me back and he carried me upstairs and had sex, there's something about having sex immediately after reconciling from an argument that I can quite wrap my head around, but I definitely did feel different that night.
