Chapter 3 Jackson's Point Of View.

I've always been driven by my ambitions. Growing up, I watched my father build his business empire from scratch, and I knew I wanted to follow in his footsteps. I dedicated myself to my studies, earning top grades and landing a high-paying job at a prestigious firm right out of college.

My twenties were a blur of long hours, endless meetings, and calculated risks. I climbed the corporate ladder with precision, never letting personal relationships or distractions get in the way. My focus was laser-sharp, and it paid off. By 24, I was a rising star in the business world.

But it came at a cost. I've never had a real relationship, never taken a spontaneous vacation, never stayed up late into the night just talking with friends. My life has been a series of strategic moves, each one designed to propel me further up the ladder.

I remember my friends in college, the ones who stayed up late playing video games, the ones who went on road trips, the ones who fell in love. I wasn't one of them. I was too busy building my future.

And now, as I stand in the opulent mansion of Mr. Williams, I'm reminded of the sacrifices I've made. The lavish decorations, the impeccable service, the sense of refinement – it's all a testament to what I'm striving for.

But it's not just about the money or the status. It's about proving myself, about showing the world that I'm more than just a privileged upbringing. I'm a force to be reckoned with.

That's why I'm here, staying with the wealthy Mr. Williams and his daughter Cecilia. It's a business opportunity, nothing more. I need Mr. Williams' investment to take my company to the next level, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Cecilia is...interesting. She's beautiful, of course, but there's something more to her. A spark in her eyes, a sense of determination that I admire. But I'm not here to get tangled up in personal feelings. I have a job to do, and that's all that matters.

As I get ready for my coffee meeting with Cecilia, I remind myself to stay focused. This is just a courtesy, a way to build rapport with Mr. Williams and his family. I'll be charming, polite, and professional. Nothing more.

I head downstairs, where Cecilia is already waiting. She looks stunning in a yellow sundress, her hair tied up in a ponytail. I push aside the fleeting thought and extend my hand. "Good morning, Cecilia. Shall we?"
