Those words awakened the hidden emotions in Jake. Popoy gave him a new life and hope and raised him. But why, when they were finally happy, did he have to disappear? As Jake turned away, the sorrow was evident in his eyes, a sorrow that brought him anguish, longing, and most of all, vengeance that consumed his heart and mind.
As he walked away from the old church, tears slowly fell from his eyes. This was the place where he honed his hidden talents, where he first learned to be brave, and where he felt deep pain.
As he made his way through the Forest of Death, he heard a strange sound coming from a corner, as if someone needed help. "You wretched harlot! Die now!" a loud curse from a trader who suddenly threw a young werewolf girl into the middle of the forest.
"Please have mercy, I don't want to die here, please I'll do anything for you, just don't leave me here," the young werewolf girl pleaded with her cruel master.
"You bring bad luck to my life, so the only solution is for you to be bait for the monsters chasing us!" the cruel master replied.
When the master heard the sound of the wild beasts chasing them, he whipped the horse to make the carriage run. The young werewolf girl was left in the middle of the dangerous forest. She was surrounded by six orcs drooling and with menacing eyes. She knew this was the sign of her impending death.
"Boss, a type of werewolf from the tribe known as the tribe of harlot werewolves," said one orc, laughing with his fangs showing.
When the orc leader heard this, he stopped and said, "Lucky! It's been a long time since I had sex, and this is the first time I'll taste a woman from the tribe of harlot werewolves." The leader laughed demonically.
"Please, have mercy on me," the girl pleaded with the monsters. She was only wearing thin clothes, revealing her hidden assets, her womanhood. Her large breasts were lusted after by the monsters, and their stares were sticky and intense.
"Hey werewolf girl, you're lucky because our leader chose you. Your companions left you because you're useless, so you're lucky we found you first! So be quiet!" shouted one orc.
"You'll surely enjoy this, boss. Leave the rest to us after you're done. We also want to taste that werewolf," said another orc, clapping his hands in excitement.
The orc leader slowly approached and surrounded the young werewolf girl. He grabbed her hair, and she tried to fight back, but she was weak. "Bang!" The leader slapped the girl, and she flew to the ground. The monsters laughed at her.
She weakened from the punch and slap, bleeding on the grass. As the leader approached, ready to strip her, everyone was suddenly shocked. "Bang!" A loud sound disturbed the group of monsters. A hot liquid flowed from the leader's forehead, blood slowly trickling down and then gushing out.
"Bang! Wind Cutter!" a powerful wind spell suddenly decapitated the leader. Everyone was startled and saw Jake with fierce eyes staring at them.
"What happened! Who are you?" the leader's companions asked, visibly frightened. Their leader was the strongest among them, and if Jake easily killed him, they knew they would be easily killed too.
The girl struggled to open her eyes and saw Jake's face, ready to save her life. "Thank you," were the last words she uttered before losing consciousness.
"Who are you!" a terrified orc asked.
"None of your business!" Jake replied and suddenly charged at them. He killed the remaining monsters one by one. With a few moves, the monsters fell to the ground.
"Miss, are you okay?" Jake asked the girl. He used his healing power. "Heal!" a rare spell he cast. Apart from being given power by the seven werewolf divine gods, Jake could do things beyond the abilities of ordinary werewolves.
He waited for the werewolf girl to wake up. When she did, he handed her a potion. "Thank you," the girl replied softly.
"Let's change the topic, miss. What are you doing in this dangerous forest?" Jake asked.
"Ahm, sir," the girl hesitated. "I'm just an ordinary werewolf from the harlot werewolf tribe. Since the cruel hunters discovered our hidden villages on the borders of the Forest of Death, we were captured, and almost all our people were mercilessly killed. Children, the elderly, and pregnant women were slain. Worse, we young werewolf girls were captured to be slaves in the towns of Klympog and Clanel. Since we were captured, my cruel master threw me into the middle of the Forest of Death to be bait for the monsters chasing us so they could escape," the girl tearfully told Jake.
Jake was moved by her story and experience. He felt the pain she was enduring.
"What's your name, miss?" Jake asked.
"Lily. That's the name my parents gave me. And you, sir?" Lily replied.
"Jake," he answered.
Now that they knew each other, Jake decided to ask Lily if she wanted to join him on his journey. She agreed, and that day they left the dangerous forest.
Five Days of Travel
During their journey to the borders of the Forest of Death, they faced many dangers and monsters that Jake had to battle.
Day 1
"Lily, let's rest here. We still have a long way to go," Jake said as they sat on a large rock.
"Thank you, Jake. I don't know if I could survive without you," Lily replied.
"Don't worry. As long as I'm with you, I won't let anything happen to you," Jake promised.
Day 2
"Psst, Jake. Do you hear that?" Lily asked as they walked.
"Yes, Lily. There's a monster approaching. Get ready," Jake replied as he adjusted his weapon.
Suddenly, a large snakes appeared in front of them. "Stay back, Lily!" Jake ordered.
"Bang! Wind Cutter!" Jake's spell struck the monster down.
"Wow, Jake. You're amazing," Lily said, impressed by Jake's abilities.
Day 3
"Jake, why did you help me? You don't even know me," Lily asked while they camped by a river.
"Because no werewolf parent would leave a young one in danger. And I think you have an important role in my mission," Jake replied while preparing a fire.
"Thank you so much, Jake. I owe you my life," Lily said.
Day 4
"Jake, I hear footsteps," Lily said as they walked on a narrow path.
"Goblins! Get ready, Lily," Jake replied.
Five goblins suddenly appeared around them. "Wind Blast!" a powerful wind blew the goblins away.
"Jake, you're incredible. How did you learn those spells?" Lily asked.
"I was blessed by the gods of werewolves. Only a few in our race have such power," Jake replied.
Day 5
"Jake, are we near the border of the Forest of Death?" Lily asked as they walked through a vast plain.
"Yes, Lily. We're almost there," Jake replied.
A large giant one-eyed monster suddenly appeared before them. "This is our final test, Lily. Get ready," Jake said.
"Wind Strike!" a powerful spell hit the monster, but it didn't fall.
"Jake, can you handle it?" Lily asked, worried.
"I can handle this, Lily. Don't worry," Jake replied as he gathered more energy.
"Wind Tornado!" a powerful tornado enveloped the monster, and it fell to the ground, dead.
"We're safe now, Lily. We've reached the border," Jake said as they stood in front of a large stone marking the border of the Forest of Death.
"Thank you, Jake. I owe you my life," Lily said, tears of joy in her eyes.
"From now on, you won't be alone, Lily. We'll face the challenges together," Jake replied, holding Lily's hand.
During the five-day journey, Jake and Lily learned the value of trust and friendship. Their bond strengthened with each battle and trial they faced, and with each monster they overcame. Finally, they reached the border of the Forest of Death, ready for the next challenges they would face together.
