Chapter 3 Alpha jaxon thor

The sun hung high in the sky, casting a warm, golden glow over the sprawling gardens of the Thor estate. Alpha Jaxon Thor, the formidable leader of the strongest pack in the world, sat on a stone bench amidst a sea of vibrant flowers. Beside him, his five-year-old sister, Ella, played with a delicate butterfly that had landed on her finger. Her giggles were like music to Jaxon's ears, a gentle reminder of the innocence he fiercely protected.

"Jaxon," Ella said, her voice bright and curious, "why are you still single and unmarried?"Jaxon smiled at her candidness, ruffling her soft, brown curls. "Well, Ella, I haven't found my person yet." "But I thought our pack is stronger with a Luna?" Ella tilted her head, her big blue eyes full of wonder. "You're right, little one," Jaxon said, his voice softening. "A pack is stronger with a Luna, but not just any Luna. She has to be the rightful one, my true mate." Ella's brow furrowed as she processed this. "The rightful one?"Jaxon nodded, a hint of sadness flickering in his dark eyes. "Yes. I've been searching for her for almost ten years now, since I turned sixteen. I'm twenty-seven now, and I still haven't found her." "That's a long time," Ella whispered, her small hand slipping into his. "Do you know what she looks like?"Jaxon shook his head. "No, I don't. But I know I'll recognize her when I see her. It's a feeling, a connection that I'll just know."He looked out over the garden, the flowers blurring slightly as he thought about his search. Every year, every pack meeting, every gathering, he looked for her. He imagined what she might be like, how she would complete him and make their pack even stronger. The thought of her filled him with both hope and a deep, aching longing. Just then, the garden door creaked open, and his beta, Adams, stepped in. The tall, broad-shouldered man with close-cropped hair and piercing green eyes walked with purpose towards them. He stopped a respectful distance away and bowed slightly. "Alpha, may I have a word?" Adams' voice was steady, but Jaxon could sense the urgency behind it.Jaxon nodded and turned to Ella, squeezing her hand gently. "I need to speak with Adams, but I'll be right outside the garden door, okay?" Ella nodded, her eyes understanding. "Okay, Jaxon. I'll play here and wait for you."He kissed her forehead before standing up, his demeanor shifting from that of a doting brother to the powerful leader he was known to be. As he walked towards Adams, he couldn't help but wonder if this meeting would bring any news of his long-lost mate, or if it was just another responsibility that came with being the Alpha. The garden door closed softly behind him, and the two men walked a short distance away, finding a secluded spot where they could speak freely."What is it, Adams?" Jaxon asked, his tone low but commanding. "We've received word from one of our allied packs," Adams began, his voice steady. "They might have some information regarding a potential sighting of your mate."Jaxon's heart skipped a beat. Could this finally be it? After years of searching, could he be close to finding her? "Tell me everything, and this better now be like last time!!"he said, his eyes burning with a mixture of hope and determination. As Adams relayed the details, Jaxon felt a flicker of something he hadn't felt in a long time: a sense of imminent change. He listened intently, knowing that whatever came next could be the key to fulfilling the destiny he had been chasing for over a decade. And in the garden, little Ella continued to play, her laughter a soft reminder of the family and future Jaxon was determined to protect and strengthen, no matter how long it took to find his rightful Luna.
