Chapter 3 why does he care

My father sent me a message saying that when Jason is better, we should plan to kill Leonardo. Apparently, my father is furious about the fact Leonardo "hurt his son".My father has always wanted to kill him, but if he ever did, it would cause a war between the two mafia families. I believe that the De Luca family is much stronger than ours, going to war with them, would increase the chances of our family name going extinct.

Amelia and I drove off in silence, she sensed that I wasn't in a good mood and my thoughts wandered back to Leonardo. He's the flirty and cocky type of person who thinks everyone is into him, which annoys me a lot.

I went back to yesterday on the way he acted and didn't even harm me like, I thought he would. Not that he'd ever harm me because he never harmed me before, in fact, I did all the harming to him, and it's like he let me do it. I know Leonardo is strong since he took over his family at the age of eighteen when his father stepped down. Leonardo is brave and ruthless, he kills and isn't even afraid of death. Death is scared of Leonardo!

Everything this man does sickens me, the way he smiled with his pearly white teeth that made me twitch in anger, his light green eyes that sparkled with mischief, his plumped pink lips that were fading into black due to smoking a lot of cigarettes, his high cheekbones and Adam apple which moved whenever he talked and even his irritating loud and Manly voice.

"Earth to Gineva!"Amelia called, clapping her hands to gain my attention. I looked around and recognized that were already at the mall. I hopped out of the car and grabbed my purse, we walked hand in hand since we didn't want to lose one another in the big crowds.

We walked into a store and I smirked when I noticed a man that I knew and he stared at me in fear."I don't have the money yet" he stated shuddering."I'm not here for you dude, can't I enjoy a little shopping spree" I scoffed. He looked at me in fear and take small steps back. I rolled my eyes in annoyance, if I wanted to kill him, I would have already.

I completely ignored his existence and watched as Amelia cooed over the cute baby section."Take everything you want I'll pay for it"I stated and looked over to the jewelry section. There were many good-quality-looking rings, bracelets, and necklaces, but the one that caught my attention was this simple silver necklace which seemed, it could be customized to any name. It would go perfectly with the outfit, I wanted to wear tonight.

"Hi, I would like to have this one and can you pls customize this to the name Ginevra" I stated and smiled."You have the same name as the Mafia's princess"He stated and grabbed the necklace. I frowned in return."You can come back for it in a couple of hours about three or so" He said.

I quickly walked over to Amelia and grabbed her hand."We need to go!"I whispered yelling in her ears."What, why?" she asked.

"No time to explain!"

I grabbed her trolly and paid for everything with my card. The cashier's eyes widened as he saw my black card, I scoffed in annoyance. I grabbed the bags and rushed out of the store, dragging Amelia along with me, we quickly got in the car and I took the driver's seat.

"What's going on?"

"We need to find out, who licked my name and what else the public knows about me"

Her eyes widened in shock as she processed the information."I'll call my brother to find out for us, in the meantime while staying calm." "Oh I'm calm alright" I stated anxious as I gripped the steering wheel tightly making my knuckles turn white.

"Oh Dylan, please pick up" She yelled irritatingly.

"Whoever did this, I'm gonna kill them"

I tried my best not to drive quickly, since I didn't want to frighten Amelia besides she was pregnant, and getting her in an accident, Allision would cut open my brain and feed it to me. I stopped near an ice cream shop, maybe this would cool me down a bit. I watched my time and noticed that lunchtime was almost near.

"What did he say?"I stated coldly, I could feel the wheels in my mind turning, I could feel my murderous era ready to peak out, I breathed in heavily trying to calm myself down. I need to kill someone, maybe this would help me feel better. I stared at my knife on the side of the seat.

Amelia shuddered in fear."He said that he would check it out for us"Her voice quivered and I immediately felt bad."Let's go for some ice cream" I stated trying to put a bit of emotion in my voice since I didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable.

She nodded quickly and got out, I took a deep breath in and went it, trying to keep my anger at bay. I followed her inside the ice cream shop and watched as her eyes dazzled while she gazed at all the flavors. "I'll take two scoops of vanilla" I stated and stared at the moist-looking cakes."I'll have two scoops of cookies ice cream and a chocolate cake please" Said Amelia. I grabbed my ice cream from the man's hand without bothering to say thank you and waited for Amelia to get hers. She beamed at her food and took out Allision's card to pay for hers.

We sat quietly and ate our ice cream, I stared over at her, while she gazed at her phone smiling, probably texting Allision as usual.

She had a long black wig on which suited her features. Her eyes are a dark brown color, bright and upturned, pink-pumped lips and she has flawless skin. I continued eating my ice cream and tried to think of a good apology.

"Amelia, I'm very sorry about the way I acted in the car, I didn't mean to scare you," I said and held her hand."No worries" She stated and smiled.

I nodded and we walked out the door and into the car, this time, I let her drive us home."Tonight we're gonna have a blast" She stated as she turned on some music.

"I'm on that good kush and alcohol, I got some down bitches I can call!"She sang, I chuckled and joined her in singing feeling free." I don't know what I would do what you'll, I'm a ball till the day I fall."

I'm truly gonna miss this, when she's gone, I don't know what I'm gonna do. I grabbed a cigarette from my pocket and lit it, I blew out the smoke and that's when I remembered Amelia's health condition."Ginevra"She stated gritting her teeth."Sorry, Sorry!"I panicked and threw it out the window, I quickly fanned the area, frantically trying to get the smoke out of her area.

I grinned feeling guilty as she sent me daggers with her eyes.

"Please don't tell Allision about this"I begged. Allision would kill me if he ever found out about this."Sure"

We continued singing until we eventually reached home. Thankfully, my father wasn't at home yet so we ate food that our maids made and took some rest before we decided to go all out with our outfits and makeup. I'm happy Allision isn't home, since I didn't want to encounter these two acting all lovey-dovey again, It's just disgusting.

Love is just a phase for me! I fell in love once, It was horrible, found out the only reason the guy dated me was that he wanted me for my money, can you even believe that? I thought it was the other way around. Actually, it wasn't even love, I killed him after he confessed. He messed with the wrong person, he must have not known I'm from the mafia. After that, I still went to his funeral and fake cried in front of his family and made a scene, saying bad things and wishing the person that killed him. Not like I cared because his family treated me like trash anyway. I should have killed them all.

I gasped as Amelia walked into the room with a beautiful pink dress that was knee-length and showed some of her cleavages, she had on a pair of silver heels with a bow as well as some silver jewelry, she redid her wig, and overall she looked beautiful."Girl you look gorgeous!"I exclaimed and spun her around.

"You look super duper hot!"

"That's the look, I was going for!"

We got my father's driver to bring us since we didn't want to drive. when we reached the club, we recognized many faces. It's a good thing, I brought a knife, I hid it on the side of my thigh, in case anyone tried to mess with me.

That's when I noticed him. My enemy!

He was already staring at me from head to toe like I was some sort of object. He walked over to me with a smile on his face."Great what a lovely night, it's gonna be"I whispered sarcastically.

His face changed when he noticed a bandage on my arm." what happened to your arm?"He asked harshly.

"Oh, and that's supposed to be your business!" I said annoyed.

"Ginevra, everything that concern's you is my business"He replied back in annoyance.

"Now answer the damn question!"
