Ify doesn't like arithmetic, but she always strives for it, so that she can be cumlaude when she graduates. You could say Ify was very ambitious in achieving her grades. No matter how difficult it is for her to understand, she will continue to study until she understands. You could say this girl is very diligent. Although she doesn't like Pharmaceutical Physics, she is very good at memorization.
The clock struck 5.45am, and she quickly got up from her bed to take a shower. Her long, wavy hair, which was a little messy, was tidied up. Then, she made her bed first, because she didn't like messy rooms.
After her shower, she invited her boarding house friend, who was right next to her room, to find breakfast.
"Rina! Rin, Rina!" she called as she knocked on the door of her room. However, as many times as she knocked, there was no answer at all.
Maybe she was still sleeping? She thought. Ify was forced to walk alone to find breakfast on foot, because the rice stall was near to her boarding house.
~~
"It's almost 7am, here!" Ify hurriedly tied her wavy hair back and locked the door to her boarding room. She quickly took her motorcycle out of the garage, as it was already 6.55am.
Ify rode her motorcycle to campus in a hurry. However, when she was halfway to the campus, Ify's motorcycle suddenly stopped.
"Huh, the motor engine is dead! What to do!" she said in panic. "Soon my class will start!"
Ify wanted to start the motorbike engine, but she couldn't lift the motorcycle with the standard 2 feet, because it was quite heavy.
Suddenly, from a distance, Lala and Ryan, who were riding together, saw Ify trying to start the engine of her motorcycle. Lala, the gentle girl, sympathized with her.
"Honey, let's help that girl! Poor thing!" she begged Ryan.
Ryan complied. Ryan pulled his motorcycle over to Ify's broken down motorcycle.
"Sis, let me help, here!" Ryan said, approaching her. Ify, who felt an angel's help, was immediately happy. Her eyes, which had been gloomy, suddenly brightened. "Ah, yes. I ask for help!" she said with a happy feeling.
Ryan lifted Ify's bike with 2 standard feet and immediately started the engine. With just 2 foot pushes, the motorcycle finally started. Ify, who looked happy, immediately thanked them. "Wow, thank you!"
Lala and Ryan nodded happily. And they got back on the motorcycle.
~~
Ify was really late now, because her motorbike had broken down. But, luckily there was a tolerance limit from her lecturer for 15 minutes. So, Ify was lucky to enter the room for 7 past 15 minutes.
Ify entered the room with her body slightly bent and, fortunately, her classmate, Tika, provided an empty chair for her. She waved her hand to take the empty seat beside her.
"Okay, let's continue the lesson," said the Physics Pharmacy lecturer.
Tika, Ify's close friend, whispered." Fy, what's wrong with you? Aren't you always on time?"
"Yes, my motorcycle broke down in the middle of the road," Ify replied, pursing her lips.
"So, your motorbike is repaired now ?" Tika asked again. Ify nodded.
~~
The Physics Pharmacy class was over. Ify and Tika left the room briefly to breathe the air, because the Civics class would start soon. They sat on the long bench at the front of the class.
"Ouch, our schedule is really tight today. I'm starving," Tika complained, holding her rumbling stomach. She looked weak and her face looked lackluster.
"Here, I have one wafer, just for you!" Ify took out a wafer from her pocket and gave it to Tika.
"Ouch, Thanks," Tika said.
"So make a habit of having breakfast before going to college!" Ify advised.
"Yes, because this morning, I wasn't that hungry," said Tika reasonably. Ify sighed softly and shook her head at Tika's excuse.
Suddenly Ify saw a man and girl across the faculty building, who were none other than the boy and girl who helped her motorcycle break down earlier. They, Ryan and Lala, turned out to be in the Engineering faculty which was located opposite the Pharmacy building.
They looked like they were talking about a serious matter. Ify narrowed her eyes to look closely at the two of them.
"Ify, what are you looking at?" Tika patted Ify's thigh.
"E...no, it's okay, really," Ify said, turning to Tika.
~~
Ryan grabbed Lala's hand and led her to the back of the Engineering building.
"Can you not get close to your friend? He's just trying to get you, you know?"
"Ryan, I have nothing to do with him. I'm just a friend, nothing more! And I'm just asking about our classwork."
"So, why did you have to sit so close together?"
"Well... because, I...," Lala had not yet said the reason, Lala seemed to be tired of explaining at length to the possessive Ryan. She cupped her face with both hands, held one side of her head, and let out a long sigh. She was confused about how else to explain to Ryan.
"Yan, I think you've been possessive and over-thinking about me lately. I'm... tiring of you being like this." Lala sighed again. She seemed to think and wanted to say something serious.
"I...want...us to break up," Lala looked down and said it with a heavy heart. She was holding back her sadness now. She turned around and left Ryan, who was shocked to hear the word break up from his favorite girlfriend. Ryan's mouth opened, his eyes widened, and he had tears in his eyes. He did not expect that his relationship with Lala would end here.
