Chapter 5 Rian is Again Seduced by Neli

Lisa hadn't picked up the call from Neli, her husband's friend. She took a deep breath, trying to be as calm as possible and not get carried away by emotions.

"Hello?" Lisa said first, greeting Neli on the call.

"Yes, hello, Lisa. I'm sorry to interrupt your time this afternoon," Neli answered the call.

Lisa exhaled harshly, as if annoyed with Neli, "Take it easy. I'm not too busy. Is there anything to talk about?" asked Lisa without beating around the bush, she was a little lazy to serve Neli who made her lose her household with Rian.

"That's ...." Neli did not speak immediately, she seemed to make Lisa feel curious.

"Quickly say it, otherwise I turn off this phone!" Lisa brusquely spoke loudly, she was really fed up with Neli who was always trying to seek attention. Since then her attitude has not changed at all.

"It's about Rian, your husband." Neli suddenly talked about Rian. Lisa had guessed that, but she tried to stay calm and not get carried away by emotions.

"Why? Soon I will divorce Rian. From now on I have no relationship with that man. You are free to do anything with Rian. Didn't I save your life?" Lisa replied by directly offending Neli.

"Lisa! What do you mean? So all this time you've been accusing me of cheating on you with Rian?" Neli raised her voice, making Lisa immediately move the phone away from her ear.

"You're a granny! I almost broke my eardrum," Lisa muttered, which Neli could hear.

Neli exhaled harshly, "So it's true what Rian said, that all this time you were jealous of me and accused me and Rian of having an affair. You don't even have evidence for your accusations," continued Neli, feeling unacceptable for being accused of being the destroyer of Lisa's household with Rian.

"Oh ... so all this time you felt you were not the destroyer of my household with Rian? So all this time you felt you were just a friend? Don't have feelings of love for Rian? So all this time you asked my husband for help, you walked together with my husband, you ate together with my husband, it was all just as friends? So that's not infidelity? Meanwhile, Rian already has a wife," Lisa answered quickly. She was very annoyed by Neli's words which had been right and pretended to be innocent.

"Yes, it's all just friends. Or have you been overly jealous all this time?" said Neli, making Lisa clench her fists. Her interlocutor was indeed an expert in distorting facts.

"It doesn't matter if I was overly jealous, because at that time Rian was still my husband. Maybe you can ask the wives out there, if they were in my position. Would they be jealous or not? Ah... of course not. Only I was stupid all this time, surviving 1 year was enough to make me a stupid woman. Luckily I realized quickly," Lisa replied in a calm voice, she could still control her words so as not to look like someone who was holding back emotions.

"And also, you take this well. I no longer have a relationship with Rian, soon I will take care of my divorce papers with Rian. You can be free to do anything from now on, maybe you can even get married soon," Lisa continued deliberately smiling slyly at the end of her sentence.

"What do you mean married? You've been misunderstood," Neli replied quickly.

"Ah ... yes. I forgot something, how could you guys get married if you couldn't get the blessing of Rian's mother. Even Rian's mother said that you were a former prostitute," Lisa said in an offensive tone.

"Oops ... forgive my insolent mouth," Lisa continued with a triumphant smile.

"What did you say? You damn woman! From now on I will no longer hesitate to teach you a lesson!" shouted Neli, then immediately turned off the phone call.

Lisa smiled triumphantly, she managed to make Neli angry. Because for the past year, Lisa had held back enough with that woman.

"It's a good thing my mother-in-law told me the big secret about Neli," muttered Lisa with a relieved heart because she had successfully confronted Neli.

"Prang!"

Neli slammed the vase of flowers in front of her eyes. The woman grunted in annoyance, her breathing rising and falling. She clenched her hands tightly.

"Damn it! That old woman is still interfering in my relationship with Rian. Why doesn't that old woman just die!" Neli shouted loudly, she felt frustrated as she hit her head several times.

"This is all because of that damn old woman! If not, I would have been living happily with Rian by now. You'll see, I'll manage to marry Rian and take all of that old lady's property," Neli muttered with a sly smile.

"Neli!"

Suddenly Rian came in unnoticed by Neli, while the broken flower vase was scattered in front of the woman. Neli was very surprised by Rian's arrival, because the man did not tell her first. Neli quickly looked at the scattered fragments of the vase, she was looking for an excuse, a second later Neli smiled slyly.

"Ah... Rian! I've been waiting for you," Neli shouted, immediately hugging Rian and pretending to be someone who was scared.

"Neli, what's wrong? What happened?" asked Rian with a panicked face. He was very afraid if anything happened to Neli.

Neli pressed her face against Rian's chest. The woman cried bitterly with fake tears.

"Lisa, that woman threatened me." Neli finally spoke in a deliberately sad voice.

Rian frowned, "Lisa? What else did that damn woman do? Why do you always get bullied," Rian growled, clenching his fists. He was immediately provoked when Lisa's name was mentioned by Neli.

Behind her embrace with Rian, Neli smiled happily. Again she managed to incite Rian, just as she had done before.

"I called Lisa earlier. I intend to apologize to her, for what has happened to your household. I explained everything about her misunderstanding to me, so that you can reconcile. But Lisa scolded me and swore at me, and she even called me a whore," Lisa said with tears and a hoarse voice. She looked like a pitiful woman because her pride had been insulted by Lisa.

"What? Lisa said you were a whore? You fucking woman! How could she say such a thing. I have to teach that woman a lesson!" said Rian angrily. Her face was bright red, she was really carried away by her emotions and hated Lisa even more.

"Even though all this time I have always relented and tried to continue to be kind to Lisa. But why does she always misunderstand me," said Neli in a sad voice. Even though in her heart, Neli shouted happily because she had succeeded in inciting Rian.

"I will immediately take care of the divorce with that woman and take all my property. We will get married as soon as possible, and I will make sure to make that woman suffer in this world!" said Rian with a face holding back anger, since he had clenched his hands firmly.

"Don't be like that Rian. After all, she's still your wife. Even for 1 year of your marriage, Lisa has been a good wife taking care of your household," Neli murmured in a weak voice. She deliberately did that, in order to be considered a good woman and relented in Rian's eyes.

"You've always been the same, too kind and giving in. This time we have to act decisively, I really won't let Lisa live in peace," replied Rian, annoyed by Neli's words which were considered too good for Lisa.

"But Rian. He is your mother's favorite son-in-law, there is no way I can beat Lisa in that position," said Neli in a hoarse and sad voice.

"You just calm down. Mom's part, let me take care of it, you don't have to think about it," Rian replied by looking into Neli's eyes, trying to provide reassurance.

"Again Rian defended me. We'll see, I'm sure Lisa will live with regret," Neli's mind smiled slyly triumphantly.
