Chapter 5 NEW SECRETARY

MARCUS

"You again" we both said at the same time, I looked at her from her dress. She's part of the worker here, "what are you doing here? ''

I asked her. She was confused,

"I'm supposed to ask you what you are doing here not you asking me" she said looking her lashes. I tried to suppress the anger boiling inside me as she asked the same question. I don't want to let out my aggression on the lowly human.

" Do you know who you are questioning,Who are you!" I snarled, she was scared that made her heel bend to the other side.

"I'm the new Secretary, '' she said, which sounded like a whisper.

"What! My Secretary, then start your work." I said, in a low tone but fierce .

"Yes sir, what should I start with? '' she questioned.

"You are late and you are supposed to be punished for not making my early coffee" I scolded. She was already trembling in fear, I can see that her leg is shifting from its position. "Am sorry Sir it won't happen again" she muttered with her eyes fixed on the floor.

"Do you want the floor to swallow you? I can actually do that for you" I said and threw the document towards her, the document for the research department on the new product.

"Read everything before closing hour, you're attending the meeting with me" I said with a smirk, I can see her expression turned sour with disappoinment, is she expecting her work here to be simple, but I will make sure her time here is the worst ever.

She nodded her head and packed the document. Her office was opposite mine. switched my office door to transparent to keep my eyes on her.

She starts flipping on the page reluctantly, after glancing at one page for 1 min she opens to the next page. She finished a document within 20 min.

I switched the door to the normal one.

~Sarahwas seeing what was going on with the alpha and his secretary from the accounting department. She raged in anger. She was not concentrating on her work; only watching the movement of the alpha was his job to know how to spell him.

An idea popped into Sarah's head; it was already lunch. She walked down the hallway with coffee in her hands. She opens the empty store and empties the green content into the coffee, and uses her dark magic to mix it so that it won't be seen. He walked majestically to the CEO office with a fake smile. She knocked at my door, she could hear the alpha voice telling her to come in.

"Sir, your coffee," Sarah said stylishly. ~

I was going through my laptop not looking at the lady with the coffee. "Drop it" I said, she was about to drop it, esmeray rushed in with much document on her chest, and mistakenly hit the cup from the lady, it landed only on the floor. Sarah's eyes widened in disbelief as she stomped her feet on the floor angrily.

I looked up at my clumsy secretary, she dropped The document on the table as she played with her finger.

"Why are you so clumsy, just clean the mess on the floor?" I said, she walked out of the office.

She cleaned the coffee on the floor and cleaned the table.

"I'm done with the task given to me sir" she spoke up as she pointed to the documents.

"Are you sure you've read everything on that doc" I asked her to be sure.

She smiled and nod her head in response.

"What's on page 78, no 5b" I asked, I know she will not get it, she touched her forehead with her hand.

"78, no 5b, this is talking about the research lab, where different tools are and where research on the product will be taken.

The second paragraph talks about an unknown substance that was just found, it's a dangerous substance according to the research that can damage people. The third paragraph talks about the new product the company is going to make, that's a new fashioned bag. I would like to say my opinion on that. If that bag is produced the quantity of clients and customers will decrease. Because the client wants something good and valuable......"

"Stop" I snarled, she's saying too much, I only ask her what was in the first paragraph

She's even making her opinion on our products.

"I don't want your opinion, don't ever try to interfere in my product except I ask you to do so" I complained, and she turned her face down in dissatisfaction.

"Get ready, you are attending the meeting" I said as I pointed at the door for her to walk out. She looked at me before stepping out shutting the door behind.

After the meeting, it was already late. She really did her best in the meeting, as the client agreed on working with our group, I thought to myself as my driver opened the car for me. But I was yanked back,

"What are you trying to do Mr Marcus or whatever" she half yelled. I was shocked by her sudden reaction and how she approached me, I jerked her hands out of my cloth.

"What do you mean M.s Esmeray" I uttered, and she looked at me biting her lip, as she danced on her hip angrily

"You want to leave me here, and you know it's already late," she said.

"What do you want me to do,remember I am your boss you don't need to question me" I said as I entered the car and drove back to the mansion.

"After work you are not my boss, Marcus!"

Esmeray finally finds a cab, as she hoops in.

The driver dropped her off at the cherry apartment, it was peaceful but strange not even a sound was heard. She knocks on her door as she waits for her to open the door. She's the only one living in the small building the owner sold it out with a small amount of cash, at which Cherry could afford.

I was already shivering because there's no one around, it's taking too long for her to open the door.

I heard something crack, and the bird on the tree made sounds as they flew away.

I squatted down with my hair covering my face.
