Nathan's model didn't just win first prize; it shattered the competition's historical records. He created a miracle. Under such brilliance, no one remembered Caleb's second place.

After the award ceremony, I saw Caleb and his father, Alexander, the chairman of Griffin Group, in a corner backstage. The tall, middle-aged man coldly said to Caleb, "Your model is good, but it's nowhere near as good as Nathan's."

"Caleb, you are Luna's son. You shouldn't be outdone by the son of a household maid."

"I'm disappointed in you."

He nonchalantly tossed out these words and turned to leave, leaving Caleb standing in the darkness, his face pale, eyes filled with resentment and unwillingness.

He saw me, clenched his fists, and gritted his teeth as he asked, "Why did you help him? You knew how important this competition was to me!"

"I was so close to getting into the company!"

In truth, what he cared about wasn't getting into the company. As Alexander's son, it was only a matter of time before he joined the company. What he cared about was Alexander's approval.

I looked at him quietly. "Whether the competition is important or not, you should win based on your own merit. Trying to dim someone else's light won't make yours shine any brighter."

His gaze was as sharp as a knife, veins throbbing on his forehead. "Win? That was supposed to be mine!"

"Scarlett, do you really think Nathan likes you? He just likes taking my things!"

"From childhood to now, he loves taking away the attention others give me!"

"As long as I lose interest in you, he won't look at you twice."

"I'm the one who truly treats you well!"

"Scarlett, come back to me. If you never see him again, I'll support you and your mom for the rest of your lives!"

I gave him a cold glance. "Nathan never stole anything from you. Talented people naturally attract more attention."

"I'll handle my mom's medical expenses on my own. In the future, don't worry about it."
