Chapter 6 The way of saving him

She was suddenly frightened to hear him speak. She turned her head beside her and looked at the person who had just talked with her. The person who talked with her was taller than her and he also was good-looking. But she didn't have time to think about anything now. Because she felt hostile from the person beside her.

"What's wrong with him? Why is he in this state?"

Mo Lan asked him overcoming her fear.

He asked her disdainfully with hostile eyes, "Who are you?"

She asked the same question, "Who are you?"

He gets angry and shouts angrily, "I asked you first. You didn't answer who are you but asked instead, who am I?"

She said to him, "I am Mo Lan. Now you can say, who are you, and why his whole body has so many daggers."

He quickly answered her, "he is the dagger king and I am his subordinate."

When she knew his name, Dagger King, she laughed. The dagger king's subordinate got angry more to see her smile.

He angrily said to her, "Don't laugh, you don't know anything. You can't laugh."

"He is like a child. Then let's tease him more."

She said in her mind.

Lan said to him, "Why can't I laugh? Don't say nonsense. I can't laugh. I didn't know that someone's name could be Dagger King."

He became angrier. Mo Lan understands that she can't make him angrier than that. Then what will he do to her who knows?

"Okay, I won't laugh anymore."

She said.

Then Mo Lan stopped her laughing.

"I didn't see in my life that anyone's whole body has so many daggers and that person didn't die. But even his name was strange. I didn't mean to laugh but I couldn't stop. I wouldn't laugh if you told me his real name. You stay silent and say to me his name is Dagger King. Do you think I will not laugh? If there was another person without me then he would've laughed more than me hearing the name. Don't you think?"

Mo Lan said again.

"No one would laugh. Because no one knows we are here. You are the weird one. How can you enter another person's house and laugh at him."

He muttered.

"Did you say something to me?"

She asked.

Hearing her talking he didn't say anything. Lan also didn't ask anything but only looked at the dagger king. The room was silent. They both stopped talking for a while. The state of silence was awkward in the room.

She thought, "I need to talk about some things."

So she started to talk about the dagger king but his subordinate was in a condition of silence. Look like he didn't want to talk about anything. Suddenly she talks about the dagger king.

Lan asked him, "Is he alive?"

He didn't answer at first. But not getting an answer from someone even if you asked first, feels awkward. Then Lan repeats the same question.

She waved her hand in front of his face and called out to him, "Mr. subordinate. I asked you something."

He told her, "I am not Mr. subordinate. I have a name."

Lan said to him, "You didn't tell me your name Mr. Subordinate."

He didn't answer her question and asked her, "What were you asking me?"

Lan again asked him, "Is he alive?"

He answered her, "Yes, he is alive. He is sleeping."

She asked him, "How can he fall asleep in this state? Didn't he feel any pain? Is he sleeping dagger beauty or something?"

With a pitiful look, he answered her, "Don't say something that will make me angry. But he was in great pain. There wasn't any method to reduce his pain. So he said to us to put him to sleep. First, we couldn't put him to sleep. But somehow, we succeed in putting him to sleep."

She asked him, "How to save him? You have no way to save him."

With a sad look, he said to her, "We tried all the way but the method did not work. One day our head said if we take him here, then we can save him. So he has been sleeping like this here for the last five years. In these years we didn't find any cure for him."

After listening to him, she was thinking about how these daggers stayed in his body. This is not simple.

She talked in her mind, "This story was interesting. I want to know more about these daggers of his body. I was well-versed in medicine in my previous life. I can try it here. I will save him. It is the job of doctors to save people."

She was thinking of saving the dagger king. But how will she save him? Suddenly Mo Lan remembered she had dragon-phoenix jade space and Aine.

She talked in her mind, "Aine said when I need her help if I call her then she will respond. So I need to call her name."

"Aine, Aine are you there? I need your help."

Mo Lan muttered.

But Aine didn't respond to her call. So she again called her. This time Aine responded to her call and asked her, "What happened?"

Lan asked her, "Why didn't you respond for so long?"

Aine told her, "I was sleeping. What's wrong?"

Lan asked her, "Come see him. You have a way to save him."

Aine was astonished when she saw him. She asked Lan, "In this world has this kind man? Whose whole body has a dagger and he didn't die? This is a miracle. How can he be alive in this state?"

Lan said, "I didn't call you to question me. I asked you to come if you have any solution to save him."

Aine told to her, "I need some time to think whether there is any way to help him. Give me some time. But I will only tell you the way I can't help you to lift the dagger."

Lan told her, "Okay, you only need to tell me the way. The work I will do."

Saying this, Aine went inside the dragon-phoenix pavilion space to find a way to save the dagger king.

The dagger king's subordinate didn't see or hear anything. He only sees she was looking at the dagger king. Seeing her stare at the dagger king.

He asked, "Why are you staring at him? I know my master is handsome, but he can't marry you. So stop staring at him."

Lan said, "What? what are you saying? I was thinking about how to save him and you are thinking unnecessary things. Tell me if I stare at him, his handsome face's beauty will be reduced. Don't think too much. In this world, your master is not the only one who has a handsome face. I agree he is quite a beauty, but he is not the only one okay? So, don't daydream in this situation."

He angrily said, "What? I am daydreaming."

Lan told him, "Or what?"

He said to her, "You stared at him for one hour. Under the circumstances, what can I think? You tell me."

Lan said, "You distorted-minded people always think bad things."

He said, "What are you saying? I am a distorted-minded person."

Lan replied, "Or what?"

He asked her, "Then you can tell me why you were staring at him deeply?"

Lan replied, "I was staring at him deeply because I was thinking about how to save him. But what were you thinking all the time? So I said you were a distorted-minded person where did I say wrong tell me?"

Suddenly he became happy.

He happily asked her, "You have a way to save him. Quickly tell me. I will save the master."

"Master?"

She asked curiously.

"No, nothing. I will save him. So quickly tell me the way and don't ask any questions anymore."

He said hesitantly.

"I and my mind. What the hell am I doing now? If anyone knew then my head would've gone by now. I have to be more careful in the future."

He said in his mind while hitting his own head.

Lan answered him, "I was just watching and thinking about how to save him. Just thinking to save him."

Suddenly Aine comes and calls Lan. Lan anxiously asked Aine, "Did you find a way to save him? Tell me quickly."

With a mischievous look, Aine said to her, "Why are you so anxious? Did you fall in love? Is this so-called love at first sight?"

Lan told her, "Don't tell unnecessary talk. This is an irrelevant thing. People help people. Where did this absurd talk come from? Now tell me the way to save him."

Again, with mischievous looks, Aine told her, "Oh, this is absurd. Then why are you so eager to save him? I knew if someone dear to me then I also would be anxious to save him/her."

Lan said, "For the sake of humanity. If you help innocent people who are in danger you will get help in the future. Don't you know that?"

"Oh, for the sake of humanity. So you are saying you don't like him. See, how handsome he is? Look at his beauty I didn't see a beauty like him in my life and you said you don't like him. What if you can't find a man like him? Then wouldn't it be a waste of your beautiful self? Why are you so cruel to yourself?"

Aine says in such a way that is misleading like she is matchmaking with him.

Lan replied to her, "It's not that I don't like him. But I don't want to like him. Because if you want people like him, you need to give a big price. I don't want to be hurt anymore. So I won't like him. I am not powerful enough to like him. When I am more powerful than anyone if I have the chance then I will think about liking him. Greedy people always fail to win."

Aine asked her, "So you are saying you don't want to be greedy."

Lan answered, "Yes. I don't want to be a greedy woman. If he has a wife or fiancée then what will happen to me? Can you tell me? I don't expect to find gold in an empty space. Because the empty space doesn't have gold. So, don't talk nonsense anymore. If you find a way to save him then tell me and if there is no way, then I will not waste my time here."

Aine sighed and told her, "This is not a disease. This is a curse. But this curse is not an ordinary curse. This curse is hard to break."

Lan asked her, "Curse?"

In the meanwhile, the dagger king's subordinate keeps looking at her and says, "She stares at him again."
