Chapter 5 5

I opened my eyes and saw a big figure standing beside me.

I blinked my eyes and saw Felix, crossing his arms.

"What time is it?" I will ask.

I feel refreshed. It just seemed like my whole body was in pain.

"You slept whole day" he just said and left the room.

I saw Manang come in and helped me to the bathroom to bathe and dressed me.

I am again wearing a dress.

"What happened to Felix?" I asked Manang.

He shook his head.

"You didn't even wake up yesterday, and your fever is still high! He asked why you were so mean,"

He didn't finish. Of course he told Felix!

"You can't even approach the Knight Quarters," he said.

What?

Before I could ask, he left.

I'm just having a fever. That's not bad!

I calmed myself down and walked to Felix's office but he wasn't there.

I went straight to the dining room and waited for her.

"Ma'am just before you eat, the duke is still doing something," said an assistant.

I just nodded and started eating.

Then I walked to my new favorite spot! Under the tree.

"Good morning!" I greet the gardeners.

"Good morning ma'am!" One greeted and raised his hat.

I sat down there and looked at the whole place.

Butterflies are swarming around the bushes. The sound of the bird tweeting is really a music to my ears!

I looked at the mansion. And from here I saw Felix coming out of his office veranda.

He looked around and stopped at me.

Not yet one minute he left.

Suddenly I was upset. What's with him?

I saw Manang carrying a stroller full of sweets and tea too!

I helped her lay it on the table.

"Doesn't your head hurt?" worried the question.

I just shook my head.

"It's good," he said and left.

I had no desire to eat a cupcake while I was wondering and thinking a lot.

I wish my father will reply as soon as possible. So I know he's okay.

My mind was broken when a part of the bush moved and the white fox I had taken was out there the other day!

I immediately grabbed her and gently tapped her nose.

I sat him down in a chair and I sat down.

"Let's have a small tea party!"

I poured her tea with her glasses and the cupcakes with the saucer.

The fox stared at me wondering what am I doing to him.

I laugh at my madness. Maybe this is really helpless!

I showed him how to bite a cupcake and I laughed.

I took her cupcake and joined her.

Eat too!

"What are you doing?"

I listened to where it came from.

Felix walked to the table and took the fox to the chair and he sat there.

He then put the fox down to the ground and raised it with eyebrows.

"You can ask me to accompany you, why have a fox instead?" asked it.

I wiped my hand. Losing appetite.

"You really think I would ask a person who gave me a bad impression when I woke up after a long sleep?"

He sighed.

"Where are we going?" I asked when he took a horse.

He lifted me up and I sat side ways on top of the horse.

"I'll tour you around the area," he said and he rode again.

I clung to his arm when the horse ran but as soon as he got out of the mansion his pace weakened and it seemed like he was walking.

"Have you seen the new design of the mansion?" I smiled.

She just nodded as I raised my eyebrows. I was waiting for a compliment!

"What do you plant in gardeners?" he asked.

My face is clear! He noticed that!

"Roses! Different colors of roses!" I said excitedly.

I looked up to see his reaction. I saw her smile.

"Look at that! You look more handsome when smiling!" I said.

He looks down at me, shocked.

I laughed. He is also handsome when he cries! But it's still smiling!

He helped me get down when we got to our destination.

I approached the cliff and looked at the bottom. Pure sharp rocks!

"Careful you might fall," Felix promised.

I retreated and looked at the front.

I think my jaw just dropped. I can see the town from UP here! Also the Palace, the whole Kingdom! I bet it'll look good at night!

"This is awesome!" I said and looked at Felix on the side of the horse holding the rope and looking at me.

"Yeah," he said.

I even watched the beautiful scenery for a few minutes!

But we also left immediately when Felix said we were still going.

We went different places. And they are so nice!

'These are my favorite get away when I don't have anything to do, "he said.

"Why are you taking me to those places?" I will ask.

He smiled.

We sat under the tree resting. Then we will go home.

"I said I will tour you around," he replied.

I suck. I was hoping for a different answer though.

While we were eating dinner. John, in turn, interrupts Felix about the celebration of the celebration tomorrow night.

It was as if their beloved Duke was paying tribute to the Calier Kingdom again in the war.

It will be held in the palace. And I was so naive because I was with you!

"I have prepared a dress for tomorrow's event," he said while finishing the meal.

I nodded. Can't wait to attend it!

I said goodbye to him to rest.

He kissed my forehead goodnight and went straight to my room. I saw Manang preparing my nightgown.

He had bathed me and dressed me.

I couldn't sleep so I decided to go to Felix's office first and talk.

When I passed a large room.

"I've never been inside this room," I whispered.

I lost my mind to go to Felix.

I opened the door and entered. I closed the door and walked inside.

I saw paintings. Landscapes and portraits.

While looking at the paintings, someone caught my attention something was covered with white cloth.

I pulled out the cloth and saw a beautiful piano.

Pain crossed my heart as I ran my fingers on it. I remember when my mother taught me how to play this.

A tear dropped from my eyes when I also remembered she's already gone.

I opened it and sat down. I pressed a key and it made a sound. It made me shiver.

Wish I could turn back time, to the good old days.
