Chapter 3 DREAM

"Three Days Later."

Here we go. Finally, after many years, Alina could get out of the city and step into the world that was now strange to her. Of course, there are feelings of regret, but there is no denying that a sense of pleasure penetrates her heart. Seeing the same face in the comfort zone for years bore her sometimes, and now, after getting out of the city zone and the Silvermoon Pack, it feels like a new experience in her life. Seeing new faces at the resort is like an antidote to her boredom. And without her realizing it, a smile of passion burst upon her lips.

Traveling from the city to Loveland Resort is not inconvenient at all. Even crossing the border and stopping at the Silvermoon Pack checkpoint gate is not difficult at all. The guards on duty at the border post seemed to have been waiting for their arrival, and when they saw the Alpha's license and their identities, they immediately opened the way and let them through.

There was no significant incident during the trip. The two bodyguards that Alpha assigned to guard them-this was the first moment Alina saw a large male wolf-did not even once complain or talk. If they spoke, they would use formal tones on Alina and her friends. They're so important people in their world that they make the journey quiet and not seem tense.

Arriving at the resort, they headed to the reception to pick up the room key and, without further ado, went straight to the room to rest after a long journey. Three hours sitting in the car and only stopping at the stop once successfully made Alina's ass numb and hurt her back.

Alina walked into one of the three reserved rooms. The first thing she did when she was inside was to catch her breath. Looking at her room, which was so beautiful and luxurious, coupled with a glass wall that stretched out in front and displayed such a gorgeous view of the forest, made her heart feel at peace.

Second, he placed the suitcase where his luggage was stored before laying the body on a soft bed and finally shouted happily at how lucky his life was. Because she and her family are still alive and can still live in a safe and comfortable place, plus she has a good friend. In this changing world, she could still feel both normality and peace.

"I will check this room and also visit Danielle later," she murmured as she closed her eyes and absorbed the calm. Not long after, Alina was lulled into tranquillity until she entered the dreamland.

It's so silent and quiet. The surrounding forest looks so scary and gripping it can make anyone shimmy scared. A thick fog blanketed parts of the forest, and occasional crows and owls were heard in the distance.

There is not a single sign of life for any other creature than the two birds, as if it meant that the atmosphere surrounding the forest was so dangerous that other forest dwellers chose to take refuge in their nests. The cold wind blew so hard that Alina trembled between cold and fear.

Alina swallowed her spit some time ago. Cold sweat from fear dripping from his temples.

Once again, she circled her gaze around before walking carefully down the trail. No moonlight can illuminate her steps, allowing her to rely only on instinct.

Her slow steps seemed doubtful, but Alina did not know why she chose to walk into the forest rather than run away from it. She didn't even know why she was there, with a red dress attached to her body and a shoeless foot.

Her bare feet keep moving into the woods. The grass she treads and occasionally pebbles or twigs make her sizzle slowly because she is scratched or injured, but that doesn't stop her from going on.

Then, when Alina arrives at a large field covered in grass and large flowers, her legs can stop. She looked left and right, confused by the current situation.

Alina was so focused on her surroundings that she did not realize that a man was standing in the middle of the meadow. But when she realized his presence, her whole body froze, and her nape stood up. She felt she was in a dangerous situation, and the man standing there was the cause.

Alina could not see his face clearly because it was overshadowed by the darkness of the night, but she could see both of his eyeballs, both in crystalline blue, which were so cold and slowly turned colorfully red.

Alina gasped and wanted to stay away, but as if she were already stuck on the spot, she could not move these two legs to run. She yelled at herself repeatedly to wake up and run away from there, but her legs wouldn't move.

She stood up with a cold sweat that had soaked her palm, her eyes not distracted from the man's figure, especially when he stretched his hand toward her, asking her to walk up to him. Luckily, this time, Alina's body would listen to her orders and stay put.

Her head shook slowly, and her decision made her right neck throb painfully. She spontaneously raises her hand and touches the area that is causing her pain, and her breath gets stuck when she feels two holes there, like a bite hole. Alina rolled her eyes when she saw her hands covered in blood, and it was her blood, blood coming from both holes.

"My Beloved."

Alina's breath roared when she heard the man's husky voice and her heart started racing twice as fast. I don't know why his voice sounded so close to her, even though the man was so far away.

Then Alina's whole body trembled in fear, and she screamed aloud as the man smiled and showed a pair of very sharp fangs in the mysterious man's mouth.

The fangs of a vampire.
