Chapter 6 Battle in the Void

The Aurora shuddered under the barrage of laser fire, its shields weakening. Jax barked orders, his team responding with precision. Sophia's hands flew across the console, her eyes fixed on the sensors.

"Captain, I'm reading a weakness in their shields!" she exclaimed.

Jax grinned. "Let's exploit it, then!"

He directed the ship's weapons to target the Nightshade's vulnerable spot. The Aurora's lasers blazed, striking true. The Nightshade stumbled, its shields faltering.

Orion's face contorted in rage. "You think you can defeat me, Vash? I'll show you my true power!"

The Nightshade unleashed a devastating energy beam, striking the Aurora with incredible force. The ship careened out of control, its engines sputtering.

Jax struggled to regain control, his vision blurring. Sophia's voice was a distant cry. "Captain, we're losing power!"

With a Herculean effort, Jax activated the emergency backup systems. The ship stabilized, its engines roaring back to life.

Orion's face twisted in defeat. "No...it can't be..."
