Chapter 6 LEAVING HER BEHIND

Vida was dragged into the bathroom by the LASK girls, she knew instantly that she was in for some trouble.

" Why didn't you tell us, you were adopted" Kimberley asked and use her hand to push her by her shoulder.

" That isn't my problem, I have always knew that she was from a wretched family with the way she acts but what I don't get is why that hottie is your adopted brother. Why are you so fucking lucky with everything?" Said Laura.

If only they knew the half of what she is going through.

" I am really sorry, please just let me go. Class will soon begin" She pleaded.

" If you want me to let you go, then you are going to do one thing for me. If you do, I swear to you that you will never see me and the girl will never be on your toes again" Laura bargained.

" What? I will do anything"

" Set me up with your brother, I think I like him" Laura stated.

Vida could feel her heart hurting, she doesn't know why. it feels so strange that she is sad with what Laura asked for.

" I can't do that?'

" What?"

" I can't do it, because am not close to my brother. And also it is wrong, setting you up against his will" Vida tried explaining but got a slap before she could finish her word.

" Does it looks like am joking, you better do as I ask for if you don't want to face hell. You have a week, let's go girls" Laura ordered and her friends followed her but not before giving Vida a dangerous glare.

She fell to the floor immediately, why is her life like this? Why must she have it tough? What did she ever do? She want someone to answer her badly, but who will.

She is going through a lot at school, there is no peace for her either when she gets home.

She got to her class, and the lesson was already over. The students especially the female were gathered at one spot, the spot that used to be her's.

No one apart from the LASK girls knows she exists, and now he made her popular. Yet, she isn't angry, she feel sorry for him.

After hearing what happened between him and his mom, she knew he was in pain.

That pain, she can't avoid. She has a soft heart, which always render her to everyone to take advantage of her.

You could say that is one of her weakness.

" Vida" Someone called, bringing her back from her thought.

She looked at the person, and it was none other than her adopted brother. What does he want?

He was putting neither a frown nor a smile, which makes Vida wonder what he is up to.

Is he also here to frustrate her life? Right here?

That thought scares her, that she didn't know when she started walking away and bump into someone. The force make her crash to the ground.

" Are you alright?" The guy asked, stretching his hand out with a perfect smile that could make any normal girl crazy.

Vida was stunned by the beauty in front of her, he was a guy but yet he look so beautiful just like a lady.

For the first time, she felt butterflies in her stomach. No word came out from her mouth, she was stunned beyond measure, all she could do at the moment was to nod.

The guy helped her stand up, still smiling. "Wow, she is lucky" Some girls with them mumbled.

" Since you are alright then, I will get going"

" Thank you" Vida finally said and wanted to move but a wince escaped her mouth.

Her leg, she couldn't move it. It's hurts so much.

" Are you alright?" The guy asked.

" I think my leg is broken"

" Really?" He bend in front of Vida. "Get on my back" He ordered.

" What?" Vida eyes widened.

" You said your leg is broken, you need to get it treated so get on my back" The guy offered.

" Ok" Vida answered reluctantly and did as told. He carried her to the nurse office in their school.

Leonard who was watching the whole scene just chuckled, she was what he thought she was.

A bitch, she took advantage of her situation just like any girl. Somehow he felt so much anger for what happened, it isn't like Vida belongs to him or anything.

He hates her, he seriously do. So he doesn't get why he is upset, seeing his adopted sister who he hate been carried by another guy.

The class finally came to an end, as all students rush out of their class like they were waiting for the day to come to an end.

Leonard and Vida went to where the driver was, Vida made sure she was careful not to move closer to Leonard. She tried her total best to avoid him in the class, especially when he was giving her some hateful glare.

" Master Leonard, Miss Vida" The driver greeted and opened the door for them. Leonard entered and locked the door before Vida could.

" What is going on?" Vida asked trying to open the door.

He whine down the glass, "I can't use the same car with you, so walk home"

" What?" Both driver and Vida uttered.

" The driver can enter, but not you"

" But Mrs Cohen, ordered me to bring you two home"

" Who is Mrs Cohen real child? Me or her? Who will be the next owner of everything? Me or her?" He asked while the driver cleared his throat.

" You can go, mister. I will take a cab" Vida assured.

" Then I will see you at home" The driver entered and drove Leonard off.

Vida fall to her knees, she has no means to go home. She forgot her wallet at her home, in the rush not to encounter with Leonard.

But didn't work anyway.

A bike stopped in front of her "Hello, pretty" The person said. Cida looked up and it was the guy from earlier.

The one she bumped into, looking at him now. She couldn't help but to admire his good looks.

He is so handsome, and has a soft skin just by looking, his well shaped eyebrow. "He is so handsome but not as handsome as Leonard" Her subconscious mind stated.

She cleared her throat, well it wasn't wrong. The guy in front of her is handsome, has this innocent look but Leonard is more handsome, everything about Leonard screamed perfection.

" Are you not going to answer me, I said hello" The guy said bringing Vida back from her thought.

" Ah, hi....." She responded shy.

The guy smiled. "How is your leg now?"

" It is fine, thanks to you"

" Am glad to hear that, are you going home?" He asked. "Yes"

" Do you mind if I take you home?" He requested but got no response.

This is the first time a guy will be offering to take her home, is that suppose to be good or bad.

" I am just trying to make up for what I did, I mean your leg. Please let me take you home" He said making a face one couldn't reject.

" Ok" Vida smiled. He gave her a helmet and she climbed on after putting on the helmet.

" Hold tight" The guy said.

"How?"

He hold her two hand and wrapped it around his waist, then start the bike.
