Chapter 2 An omega's pain

Trying to resist, I pushed him away, "No! Let me go!" Instead, he pushed me against the wall, his hands pinning mine above my head. "Young lady, no one tries to resist me." He whispered, claiming my lips in a fiery kiss. Tears threatened to spill from my eyes, my heart clenching in pain. I bit his lips forcefully, drawing blood from it but he didn't back down.

"Why is our mate doing this?!" I heard my wolf's dejected voice, but I ignored her, focusing on my survival instincts. "I need to get out of here" I mumbled as I pushed Damien away, dashing towards the door. However, he pulled me by my waist, my eyes widening in terror, "No..no no...Let me go!" I yelled.

"If you weren't guilty, you wouldn't have tried to escape. If you don't tell me how you got here, I'll torture you till you say something!" He snapped.

"No..no ..no!" I shook my head as I gulped nervously, not daring to look at my mate's face. "Just let me go. I promise not to come back. I promise not to look back or think about the night we spent together. Just let me go."

Damien wasn't pleased by my statement. Instead, It angered him the more. The air suddenly became threatening as his gaze turned cold. "Let you go?" His voice was frosty as ice, making me gulp anxiously. Bending down to my level, I heard him say, "Tell me what I need to hear and I'll consider."

Frustrated, I opened my mouth to speak, but only a sigh escaped my lips. I closed my eyes, my fists clenching by my sides as I thought about the cause of all these. My foster mother. Tears threatened to spill from my eyes, but crying wouldn't solve anything. I raised my eyes slightly, gazing into the Alpha's eyes, "Please, believe me this time. I really don't..."

"Shut up!" He growled, cutting me off. "Do you think by acting pitiful I would believe you? Young lady, you climbed into my bed and seduced me. Few minutes ago, I kissed your lips unconsciously. What are you trying to do? Who sent you?!" He seethed. Damien was quite frustrated. My scent was driving him insane, and there was nothing he could do about it.

"I...I.really..really.. didn't do anything." I stuttered. "

"Nonsense! That's not what I want to hear!" He growled as he approached me again, his eyes glinting coldly. I closed my eyes and I suddenly felt lightheaded, empty darkness embracing me once again.

I fluttered my eyes open, surprised by the unpleasant odour that wafted into my nose. I wrapped my arms around my body, trying to keep myself warm as I walked around, wondering where my mate placed me in. As I moved towards the gate, something crumbled beneath my feets, making a crunchy sound as it shattered completely. Terrified, I moved backwards, my eyes widening in surprise. Is...is that..a bone?

With that thought in mind, I suddenly realized this was a dungeon. A pack dungeon for prisoners. Why would my mate place me here?

Dashing for the gate, I banged my thin hands on it, not caring about injuring myself, "Let me out! Let me go! I'm not a prisoner, I want to go home!" Moments later, my ear could pick up faint footsteps approaching me.

"Keep it down you slave! How dare you disturb my peace!" A guard yelled as he glared angrily at me. Ignoring his fowl words, I moved closer, "please, just let me go. I.. I'm innocent. Just let me go."

The guard laughed out loud, his shoulders trembling slightly, "You're innocent? Don't you know how fast an information travels? " He paused for a while, his eyes breaming with curiosity, "Why would a mere omega like you call the Alpha as your mate? Why did you set yourself up on his bed?"

"Don't you know Omega's are useless? Who would want someone like you to rule along side the strong Alpha? With your naughty body, you seduced the Alpha and made him have a thing with you. Even if you're his mate, how would you do something so shameful?"

Each of his words made my heart shatter into a million pieces. I trembled slightly, thinking of what awaits me in this dungeon. Perhaps, this is where I would find my death, away from the troubles of this world.

As i laid down to rest, the way my foster mother and sister treated me kept flashing in my mind. Each time, I would have to beg for a plate of food after working tirelessly during the day. My foster mother would subject me to punishment each time I make a mistake, not caring about my illness. Born with an illness, I was more weak and frail compared to other wolves. Sometimes, I wonder if I did something wrong in my past life to be rewarded this way.

Moments later, the guard came and opened the gate, dragging me outside forcefully, his eyes lingering on my exposed body. I gritted my teeth in anger as he stared at me. Using my other hand to cover my below, my actions only made the guard laugh. "You're thinking of seducing me with your actions too? Oh my!" He mocked. "Our Alpha is so wise, he was able to tell the difference between a Luna and a prostitute."

"I'm not a prostitute!" I retorted, only to mocking gaze from him. "You're a prisoner now. Do you think you have the right to talk back at me?!" He spat. He gripped my arm roughly, making me groan in pain, "Even if you're the Alpha's mate, we would never allow an Omega rule over us!

I closed my eyes, trying to calm my raging emotions, "Where are you taking me?" The guard smirked, "After asking you not to say a word? How dare you!" He pushed me slightly, almost making me fall.

"As much as I don't want to tell you, I'm taking you to the Alpha!" He added as he dragged me again. No! Not to that monster again.
