Chapter 8 Marianne and Jenner's Son are Dating

Her head felt so dizzy, Marianne couldn't remember anything. But for sure, she was now in a fairly large room. But there was no light at all because the curtains in the room were still closed.

"Where am I?" Marianne was still not fully awake. Her eyes blinked a few times.

Trying to recall what happened last time.

"Oh, My Goodness!" Instantly, Marianne remembered what had happened to her last night. She quickly got out of bed and ran to the window. She opened the curtains.

Sunlight streamed in through the window. Marianne closed her eyes for a moment, due to the sunlight.

The scenery down there looked unfamiliar. The garden was large, and several guards were walking around. Was she currently in Nate's grasp again?

However, the scene down there was not the Cooper residence she knew.

Then, where was she?

As if to answer her question, someone suddenly opened the door.

Marianne quickly turned her body 180 degrees.

As it turned out, Marianne recognized the person! That's right! He was the man who drove her to the parking lot last night. The man who had tattoos on his neck and arms.

"You're awake," he said as he walked over to Marianne.

"Who are you? Why did you kidnap me?" Marianne, who was terrified, slowly relaxed her pace.

This was not the first time Marianne had felt intimidated. She often felt this way when she was with Nate. However, Nate had never scared her like this.

"Oh, so this is Nathaniel Cooper's girlfriend." Instead of answering, the tattooed man grabbed Marianne's chin when he was near her.

"Beautiful." His smile didn't even look handsome at all in Marianne's terrified eyes.

"Who are you?" asked Marianne again, "please let me out of here!"

"Let you go?" Of course, it's not that easy. I racked my brains for a way to make Nate feel the agony and be ready to kneel in front of me. And it was surprisingly easy." Her eyes crept towards Marianne's ass.

Marianne panicked and reflexively slapped the tattooed man across the face.

"Damn it!" Marianne's slap was hard enough to make the man's white skin instantly turn red.

Not long after, someone opened the door to the room.

"Mr. Thomas ... Are you alright?"

"No, I'm fine. Now you can come out. Let me take care of this woman."

"But, Mr. Jenner told me to bring the woman before him."

"Jenner?" Marianne wondered to herself. It seemed like Marianne had accidentally heard that name several times.

Oh right! The Cooper family has been mentioning Jenner a lot lately.

Oh my goodness. Is she now trapped in the Jenner residence?

"If you kidnapped me to get Mr. Nate's attention. Then you're wrong! Mr. Nate and I don't have any relationship!" Marianne tried to explain.

Now she knew the reason why the letter was intended for her was because she wanted to put Nate in the enemy's cage!

"I know, Nate only loves you one-sidedly ... Gosh, has Nathaniel Cooper ever experienced unrequited love? Hahaha. If you guys love each other, there's no way Marianne would have followed the advice in my letter to leave the Cooper residence."

Thomas' hand held Marianne's chin. His smile implied something as he looked at Marianne's face.

"Come, come with me!" He pulled Marianne's arm and led her out of the room. It made Marianne grimace in pain as her grip was so strong.

"Nate, help me!" she said silently.

As it turned out, Marianne needed Nate. Many times in her heart she asked God to answer her prayers for Nate to save her from this damn family!

Truly, she regretted leaving Nate like that. Their relationship has started to improve, especially since Nate showed his seriousness to her.

"Let me go!" Marianne remained rebellious.

She didn't even want her arm to be touched by this damn man!

Then, Marianne entered a room that had a very eerie atmosphere. Many weapons were displayed on the walls.

"This is Marianne, Father," he said, speaking to a middle-aged man who was sitting in his chair.

The man's aura was sinister. His hands were covered in tattoos. He was Mr. Jenner. The man who made the Cooper Group his rival.

"Tell me, what is Mr. Nate's weakness?" asked Mr. Jenner without preamble directly asking Marianne.

"I don't know anything. I'm just his sister's nurse–"

"Hold on ... What do you mean? Personal nurse?" Mr. Jenner furrowed his brow. The same was true of his son Thomas.

"What's wrong with her?" he asked again.

Stupid! Marianne had blurted out. She shouldn't have said that.

"I mean, I'm–"

"Get two men over here!" Mr. Jenner ordered Thomas.

Thomas walked out of the door and he called two of Jenner's men.

"Bring the rattan. Hit her!" Mr. Jenner ordered.

Hearing this, Marianne immediately opened her mouth and rounded her eyes. And shook her head.

"Father!" Thomas didn't even agree.

"Hurry up!" Mr. Jenner ordered again, this time his voice rising.

The two men picked up the rattan and told Marianne to lower her body so that her ass could be spanked.

"Hit her until she raises her voice to tell Mr. Nate's secret!"

"Please, not like this! I'm not–"

In the next second, the sound of Marianne's scream echoed throughout the room. Because the rattan had touched Marianne's ass.

As evil as Nate was, he had never done this to her!

"Please stop!" Marianne cried, as her body was now completely helpless.

"Marianne, you have to confess!" Thomas, who looked panicked, urged Marianne to be honest.

However, Marianne could not. Her tongue felt numb. If she told the truth to Mr. Jenner, Marianne would have betrayed Nate twice.

Would Marianne be able to endure the pain that she didn't know when it would stop?

She had no idea how many strokes the cane had landed on her ass.

Her life seemed to be on the line. Her body began to fall. A few seconds later, Marianne said, "I will tell you the truth ...."

At the same time, Thomas also said, "Dad, I have an idea!"

Lucas and Ivar had been in Nate's room for two hours. They were both completely at a loss as to what to do about Nate who was currently like a madman because of Marianne.

Lucas still vividly remembers seeing this fragile Nate when he first learned that his parents had died and his sister had brain cancer.

"Damn it. Has there been any news from Marianne?" Nate asked the two of them, with eyes that were already puffy and even his eyes looked very tired, all day Nate had not slept at all and only cried.

This was also the first time Lucas had seen Nate grieve for a woman other than his mother and sister. What had Marriage done to Nate to make him fall in love with her?

"Damn it. Fire them all. I don't need incompetent bodyguards like them!" Nate yelled, his face showing the veins and hunter eyes that always made anyone tremble when they saw him this angry.

Then, there was a knock on the door from outside. Ivar quickly opened it in the hope that there would be a bright spot in Marianne's escape.

"Mr. Nate ... Look at this!" One of the bodyguards showed his iPad screen.

Truly, everyone who was there glared perfectly. They couldn't believe that what they were seeing was true.

"Why is Marianne with Thomas Jenner?" Nate asked.

"They're dating, Mr." Ivar who read the news immediately turned his face towards Nate.

How could Marianne suddenly be dating Thomas Jenner? The son of the Cooper Family's biggest enemy? What happened to Marianne?
