Chapter 4 Suri, do you really forget me

As soon as she walked out of the restaurant, a champagne luxury car stopped in front of her.

　　That car looked very beautiful. The front cover was very long, and the body was very bright. It looked very expensive.

　　Mason waved at her and said with a smile, "I'm here to pick you up."

　　Suri came to her senses in embarrassment. Looking at the hand in front of her, she reached out her hand subconsciously. When she raised her arm, she found that the plastic bag hanging on her right hand. She quickly changed the plastic bag to the other hand, and then gently stretched out her hand to touch him.

　　"Mason."

　　"Suri, do you really forget me?"

　　Suri's face was burning and sweat began to form on her forehead.

　　Mason emphasized the word "childhood" on purpose. It seemed that if she still held grudge against the harm, he had caused to her when he was young and ignorant, she would be regarded as narrow-minded.

　　It was true that teenagers were still naive. That was not a big deal when she looked back now. She had almost forgotten it. But when she was a cub, that disaster was as horrible as a landslide. No one even knew who she was.

　　She didn't hate Mason, but her fear and self-abasement in front of him hadn't changed for so many years. If possible, she didn't even want to stand side by side with him.

　　Seeing that she didn't say anything, Mason sighed and said, "get in the car."

　　Suri looked at the car behind her hesitantly, "why?"

　　Mason said, "let's talk about work."

　　Suri wanted to tell him that it was too late today. But she didn't dare to turn around and leave as she thought that it would do her no good if she offended Mason.

　　So, she nodded and got on the car.

　　When Mason closed the door, the narrow space was filled with the smell of kitchen.

　　In the empty parking lot, Suri didn't feel the smell on her body so strong, but in the car, the smell had nowhere to hide. She felt so embarrassed.

　　Mason wrinkled his nose and rolled down the car windows. His action made Suri more worried. Her face was as red as blood.

　　She couldn't help but think of more than 10 years ago. She was the same. Every day when she went to school with the smell of oil and smoke, the people around her retreated. At first, the disgusted expression of her classmates really hurt her, but later she gradually became numb.

　　Since she started to work and had a stable income, she had tried her best to clean herself up. But she just got off work today and didn't have time to take a shower. So, it was impossible for her to cover the smell of kitchen using her pheromones.

　　Now she was sitting next to her childhood classmate. It seemed that nothing had changed. Mason was still the clean and arrogant noble man, while she was still the dirty Omega who smelled every day. Even she herself couldn't help but hate herself.

　　The champagne-colored sports car slipped out silently. Mason drove fast along the coast. The sea breeze almost made Suri unable to open her eyes. She could only tightly grasp the seat belt and endure a burst of nausea.

　　When they arrived at the city center, Mason slowed down and rolled up the window. Mason seemed to be holding his breath all the way. At this time, he breathed a sigh of relief and smiled at her easily. "Are you okay? I just drove a little fast."

　　Suri shook her head with a pale face.

　　"Have you had dinner?"

　　"Not yet."

　　"Then I'll take you to have some night snack."

　　"Shall we talk about work?"

　　Mason chuckled, "the dessert in that shop is very good. I don't know if it can attract the attention of a chef like you. Go and have a taste first."

　　Suri stopped asking. Mason was still the same as before. He didn't allow anyone to refute him, and everything had to be done according to him.

　　After entering the restaurant, Mason ordered more than 10 desserts and said to Suri, "I'm hungry when I wait for you."

　　Suri didn't know how to answer but nodded stiffly.
