Chapter 3

I was sitting here quietly under the tree. I smiled and watched the peaceful atmosphere and the soft waves of the beach. I remember that I always used to play here with my younger children.

"That's it!!" I turned to my right when someone called my name.

I immediately stood up from my seat and immediately hugged him. I miss this person so much.

"You look better now that you've lived in Manila," he said with a smile while pinching the tip of my nose.

"Don't scold me, Noynoy...and I'm fine, how are you? I miss you so much" I said with a sneer that made him laugh.

"Oh, why are you laughing at that? You don't think I miss you, eh---" I couldn't finish what I was going to say when he hugged me again very tightly.

"You just thought Yanyan...I miss you so much Yanyan" I know it's going to be drama again.

"yeah! stay away from me, your girlfriend might see us here" I laughed and said while grinning.

"Oh why?" I raised my eyebrows and asked him.

"I don't have a girlfriend Yanyan" I covered my mouth and looked at him in shock. He suddenly frowned at my reaction.

"don't say you're gay---"

"Dad!!!" I was stopped by a screaming girl. He immediately came to him and he immediately picked him up. I was confused looking at him while he had a smile on his lips.

"Honey, you were just there, your son was looking for you a while ago" the woman in front of us said.

"Hey! You thought I was gay, right? HAHAHA!! By the way, Ynah is my wife and Annie is my daughter" He laughed as he introduced his 'supposed' Mother to me

"Nice to meet you Ynah and baby Annie" I greeted her mother warmly.

"Nice to meet you too Yanyan" Ynah answered me smiling.

I also stayed at my place for a few hours with Noynoy. We talked a lot including the story of our childhood. Mind you, there are three of us and I'm the only girl in our troop. They are 4 years older than me. But the other one... is Uno. He left on the very day of my 8th birthday. They moved to Manila and what annoyed me was that he left without even saying goodbye to us.

I'm lying now with my eyes closed. I suddenly remembered my life here before we settled in Manila. I realized that I couldn't say goodbye to my boss and only to Rhea. I immediately looked for my bag and took out my cell phone so that I could text him so that I could be blessed when I get back there.

Mom suddenly decided to go back to our province and she said that it was because she just misses this place, even me. When he found out that I didn't have a job, he immediately decided to come home to the Province. It's been two days since I got out of the hospital and in those two days my boss didn't let me go to work so I could rest.

I started to lick when I suddenly remembered what I was pregnant with. I don't want him to know it yet. And I don't want to see him again. Maybe I should enjoy it first and not think about anything else.

I immediately put my cellphone back in my bag and went back to bed.

We've been here for four days and we plan to go back to Manila tomorrow. It's hard because Mom and especially our relatives and friends want us to stay here for a few days first so I let it go because I want to too. haha.

I happily soaked in the sea water with the young people here as well as Nina Noynoy's mother and family. He said we should make the most of it now because we are leaving tomorrow.

"Faye, come up and you've been there for a while" Mom reminded me.

I immediately followed what he said and decided to just take a picture. If you're asking, do they know I'm pregnant? Of course, but I didn't mention the name of his father, I just said that I have a boyfriend. It's really fun to think about actually. I don't know what to answer to each of their questions but your Grandma still managed it. I'm good at the question and answer portion.

But to be honest, I hate myself when I think about my stupidity. I'm pregnant even without a boyfriend.

"That's it! Come on! We've been looking for you for a while now. Let's eat" Ynah called me.

I didn't notice that I had been walking around here for several hours. I immediately followed Ynah because I also felt hungry because it was noon.

We spent the afternoon bonding and I really enjoyed it. I'm here now fixing our clothes for leaving tomorrow.

"Faye!! Get down here first and eat!" I heard mom shout from downstairs.

I'm tired of going down the wooden stairs that are quite old. This is my grandparents' house and we used to live here too.

"oh son are you okay?" Mom asked worriedly, noticing that I was holding my head.

"I'm fine, Mom, I was just a little tired earlier," I answered her with a smile.

"oh Alright, sit down and eat. We need to rest and we're leaving early" I just nodded as an answer to him. Suddenly, my eyes widened.

After Mom and I ate, we each went to our room.

I immediately lay down and fell asleep without realizing it.

The next day, both Mom and I woke up early to prepare to leave. Right at seven, we said goodbye to our relatives.

My eyes immediately looked for Noynoy who was now smiling and approaching me with his mother and daughter.

"Take care, Yanyan, and don't forget to visit here again" The smiling face immediately turned to sadness.

"How are you brother Noynoy, of course we will still visit here again. Be careful" I answered him with a smile and immediately hugged him. I also hugged Ynah and of course baby Annie.

At half past eight, Mom and I left because they didn't seem to want to let us go.

I thought again about what might happen when we get there.

'I hope everything is okay'

I'm holding my breath and can't move from where I'm sitting because his face is so close to me now. Suddenly, he entered my heart in my office and his hands were resting on the table right in front of me. Sh*t you guys! Just a little bit and the tips of our noses will be touching.

"S-sir do you need anything?" Wait, am I stuttering? What a mouth!

"Trying to hide something huh?" he promised without emotion while seriously looking at me coldly. T*kte mare what happened to him? Does he know anything?

"W-What are you talking about sir?" I asked him weakly. I've lost count because I can smell the scent of his breath.

"stop pretending that you don't know what I'm talking about Khiane Faye she answered using a baritone voice and emphasized the mention of my name.

I immediately caught my breath and couldn't stand up on my own. I seem to know what he means but I don't know how to say it.

"sorry but I don't know---"

"About My Child"

My tongue seemed to recoil at what I heard. I can't move from my position.

'Does he already know? Jusko, how is this? huh'

"a-ahmm...s-sorry but---"

"stop denying Faye---"

"okay fine...sorry it's just...I just don't know how to tell you" I cut him off. I don't know but I feel ashamed to face him so the ending is that I turned my back on him now. I frowned when I heard nothing from him.

"w-why?" I stammered when I saw that he was just looking at me with a smile. I felt even more overwhelmed.

"unexpectedly because of that night?" He said with a silly smile on his lips that made my cheeks even hotter. really reminds me of this.

" For real I don't really have a plan to tell you about this....but don't worry k-even if you know this you can hope it won't be the cause of your reputation being damaged. I have also decided to resign from my job---"

"Then I won't accept your resignation" this is a serious promise and let's settle down.

"but that's my final--"

"Your bearing my child woman remember that" he said raising his eyebrows and just shrugging my shoulders.

I can't do anything if that's his decision and I don't want to lose to him.

"okay" I didn't want to answer then sat down again.

"just stay here and take a rest. Call me if you need something or if you want some foods" he said last before leaving in front of me.

I'm bored here in my office. I don't do anything else and just play with my cellphone. Because he said he won't do anything because it's all over.

"Good morning, ma'am, Sir has sent you some food," said the woman who entered with a smile.

"a-ahh thank you" I tried to smile back at him.

'Anyare that person?'

It's seven o'clock in the evening and here I am staring at the ceiling. Sleepiness hasn't visited me yet, so I'm thinking first. Hayst. There's a lot that happened today even though we just got back here yesterday.

I turned to my cell phone when it suddenly rang.

"hello?"

'[pack all your things because you will be living in my house starting tomorrow] Stupid are you?--"

'[stop cursing woman]'

"Are you okay? I bet you don't make that decision because, I don't want it!" I don't know but I hate him.

'[either you like it or not, so stop being hardheaded woman]' Is this the tendency to call me Woman? yes I'm a woman but it's annoying to listen to the way he pronounces it as if there's always a threat.

"I don't want to repeat what I said, sir don't! That's my final decision. I can take care of myself. My mother is with me and I don't want to leave her alone here either" I said a long litany and I hope my l*ko will understand.

'[don't worry we will take your mother with us. Be ready for tomorrow]' is the last promise.

alas! rude ah'

I'm so really excited!" screamed a woman while looking at her cellphone.

"Excited for what sis?" his best friend frowned as he looked at the laptop in front of him on the small table.

"Tsk. Excited to see him again" this artful answer stopped the friend.

"who?" It didn't ask that question and then went back to typing.

"Of course My Fiancee" he answered annoyed before standing up and leaving.

He just shook his head at his cousin's actions and continued what he was doing.

On the other side, a young man was quietly sipping wine.

'it's been a while since the last time we encountered my dear brother....I will take everything I want and everything that should be mine'

He was smiling like a madman while looking at the picture of his half brother.

FAYE POV.

BEEP...BEEP...BEEP...

I woke up when I heard a horn outside the house.

"Wait, what time is it?" I didn't ask myself before looking at my alarm clock. Sh*t it's six o'clock. I didn't wake up to my alarm.

I quickly went down to make sure who it was and maybe I was wrong in suspecting that he was already there.

I saw from below a man wearing a plain white t-shirt and shorts that reached his knees.

'why he's godd*mn attractive?' None of my own questions.

"God Faye, what's on your mind?" I scolded in my mind.

I immediately got ready to go down. I know that Mother is already awake, she might be surprised, but I haven't told her the plan of that fool.

"mom?" I stuttered as I opened the door to see my mother's face.

"You have a visitor" he reluctantly said before leaving in front of me.

'Is that what Mother told her about?'

I immediately followed my mother down the stairs.

"I'll be in the kitchen first Faye so I can cook breakfast for us and your guest" Mother said without looking at me. I already know, she sulked at me.

"Good morning sir" I greeted him when I arrived in front of him. He sat down on all fours.

"she agreed of my plan" it began.

"but he doesn't want to come" he added looking at me seriously.

"I know that's what he will say" I answered and avoided looking at him and confessed I looked at the photo hanging on the wall. That's a picture of the three of us, Mom and Dad.

"He can't leave this House" I took a breath before returning my gaze to him who was only focused on me.
