Chapter 4 Meeting Calystharia Divyne

Chapter 4

We went to the fancy restaurant first. The Valdiviño family did make a reservation, but they still don't have it. Will they be late for our family dinner? Ts

That sounds embarrassing. They must have been here first and will be waiting for us to arrive.

"Where are you going, Calysta?" my father asked me. I walked back to the door and was ready to go out. I'm not literally leaving.

"I want to breathe some fresh air, Papa. Just call me if Valdiviño has arrived," I replied.

"Why did you just sit here with us, and wait for their arrival, Calysta?" Papa stated but I shook my head. I want to go out. Really, really bad.

"Dad, they should be the first to get here. But we will wait for them? Right, `Lo?" I said and Lolo Ced nodded. He got what I was getting at. It's not right for us to wait for them, right?

"Go ahead, grandson. Go out for a while and don't think about running away." I chuckled.

"`Lo, I'm not a child anymore. I didn't do that even when I was young," I told him.

In truth, I'm not that kind of person who will just run away suddenly. When I was young I never experienced running away.

Especially if I have a problem in my life, I will bravely face it. It doesn't make sense that you always run away because of my opinion, no matter what you do I will never escape reality.

You can forget about it for a while but you also have to deal with it so that your problem, if any, is over.

"Yeah, I know. Okay. You may go."

I went out and went to the garden. I know there is a garden in this restaurant. I don't want to wait there and I might just get irritated. I don't want to wait too long.

When I arrived at the garden, I sat on the bench and sighed. I only get stress if I overthink too much. Because until now I still can't believe that I will get married at only 18 years old? I wonder what he looks like.

See? I'm also curious about that boy's face. Heist.

I looked at the pouch when I felt its vibration, maybe it was Papa calling me and I decided to go back.

Lolo Ced's bodyguard opened the door for me. I just nodded and went inside.

There is someone at the table with them. They are on the other side. But...I never saw the man. There were only four of them.

"Good evening," I greeted them so I could get their attention.

They even stood up in shock when they saw me. "Good evening too, hija," the lady greeted me back with a smile.

In fairness, she is beautiful despite her age. She's wearing her simple golden dress. His wife has a look. It wouldn't be bad if I could marry a small version of this man. Yeah, small version.

"Is he your son and grandson, Mr. Caravans?" asked the man, same name but I know he asked two people.

"Yes, Mr. Valdiviño. This is my daughter Calysta Daniella Carvantes," Papa introduced me.

The beautiful lady smiled at me so I smiled back.

"Just call me, Calysta. How are you?" I promised smiling and extended my hand when someone suddenly came.

"Sorry I'm late. Good evening." My smile disappeared when I heard that voice. Why isn't that a child's voice?

It seems the voice of a man, very manly and also very cold. Terrifying. I don't know why.

"Lazel, son. We've met again." I glanced at my grandfather.

"Yes, Sir Ced." Did he know my grandfather right away? And Lolo Ced knows this boy too? Is that why they asked me earlier if I wanted to know what it looked like? Or his attitude?

I turned to him to see his face but he quickly looked away. I raised my eyebrows a little because he seemed like a...snob and didn't care about other people either.

"I'm sorry for his late arrival. He even parked our car," said the lady. It's nice to look at.

"Well, it's okay. We just arrived," said my Grandfather.

I took an empty glass and someone immediately poured me water.

"Thank you," I thanked the waiter. He just bowed down and when I drank the water I felt two pairs of eyes looking at me.

So when I finished I looked at that person. I raised an eyebrow at him because the man I was going to marry was staring at me.

He has a look. His charisma is unique and the first time you look at him, his sex appeal is really strong. The way he stared was also strange.

He was just sitting across from me so I could see the natural color of his eyes up close. Gray. He's not the first man I've seen with this type of eye and if he can look, it's so deep that you feel like you're drowning and it's also super blank.

His nose is pointed, the tips of his noses are beautiful, ah. Her lips are naturally red and kissable lips? There are no black heads or pimples on his cheeks or at any angle of his face. He is so perfect as a man that it suits him better to be a woman. Hmm, maybe it's not just girls who like him.

The only thing is, he has no emotions and it's hard to read his thoughts. I looked down at his Adams apple. I have no doubt that he is popular in VU because of his handsome face.

I WAS about to find a vacant table when the girl uttered the familiar name. It just sounded like a bell in my ears. That's the name.

"Calystharia Divyne!" I stilled. Calystharia Divyne? That name is the owner of the perfume endorser, right?

The name I read on the perfume brand on the billboard earlier. I shouldn't be mistaken but is that the correct pronunciation of that child's second name? I thought it's Di-vin. Not Di-vayn.

I just heard the footsteps of someone right beside me with her soft voice. "Miss, the correct pronunciation of my second name is Di-vin. Not Di-vayn. Please, always remember that." Just like that, my heart beats fast again and when I saw her face...

I feel like I want to hug him right away. I don't know why...why I felt this strange and had this urge to approach her, to hug her. I don't even know her.

"Uhm... I'm sorry, Miss," the woman apologized to the boy.

I slowly turned my head so I could confirm if he was the boy I saw earlier on the billboard.

The girl turned away from me. She was wearing her light brown hoodie and a white sweatpants, a pair of black rubber shoes. If I'm not mistaken, he might be eight to nine years old.

"Miss? Did you just call me Miss, huh?" she asked her with her mocked voice and emphasized the word 'Miss.'

"Don't call me that next time and remember my name, I'm Calystharia Divyne. Haist, my Mommy won't give me a good name if you just call me Miss," she said and that's all she said. From the words that came out of the child's mouth, it was obvious...he was a slob even though he was still young.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am Calystharia. It will not happen again."

Chapter 4.1

"Excuse me? Do I look too old for you to post? I never said that." My lips parted in shock.

He's not the only one in the damn place. He also has no respect for his elders. His voice is still cold. It's not like the girl is talking to a child now. "Whatever. Where's my order?"

"I-I'll just bring it to your table," he said in a daze.

"Do it now," the boy ordered emphatically and he turned his back so that we were facing each other.

I took two steps back in shock. I've seen, I've seen his face. That's him, that's that boy. Lethaniel was right.

This boy is even more beautiful in person. Even though he is still wearing his hoodie hat, you can still clearly see his gentle face. His eyes were blank and his face was expressionless.

Even just looking at him makes you feel like you're drowning. It's strange... It seems like he's just a doll that came to life and didn't have any reaction.

"What are you doing, Mister? Are you... listening to us? What are you? A gossip?" he asked me with raised eyebrows and the words he uttered were really insulting.

Did his parents teach him good manners? Did they teach that it is forbidden to answer to those who are older than him? And learn to respect others, whether young or old. That's still important.

Because of what I see and also my observation, the child in front of me did not learn proper manners. He also looks like a spoiled brat.

But even so, the beating of my heart did not disappear and my urge to approach him and hug him very tightly. I'm not worried that I might feel strange. Because I know I am not a child abuser.
