Chapter 4 Chapter 4 Take Care of Her

Julia turned around and met Wesley's cold eyes.

He pushed her away and she fell to the floor.

"How do you dare to slap her?" Wesley stood in front of Reese and protected her.

Julia glared at him. "She slapped me! Why can't I slap back?"

Wesley looked at her swollen cheek and then looked away. "You deserve it!"

Hearing his words, Reese started to cry. She said with a choked voice. "Julia, I think you are my friend. How could you treat me like this? You know I love Wesley... Why don't you leave him?"

Wesley looked at Julia as if he was waiting for her explanation.

Julia was annoyed. "Shut up! I'm not here to compete with you in acting!"

Then, she said to Wesley, "We don't need to waste time. I'll ask the lawyer to draft the divorce settlement. You just have to sign it!"

Reese held Wesley's hand and looked at him. Her eyes were bathed in tears. "She has already agreed to divorce. Didn't you promise me..."

Wesley pushed her away and said, "Don't think too much. Take a good rest."

Reese looked at him in panic. She shook his hand and asked in anxiety. "You don't want to end this marriage? You fell in love with her, right?"

Wesley touched her forehead. "Stop talking. You should get a good sleep."

Reese looked at him. When she lay down, she held his hand and said in a low voice, "Right now, you are all I have got. Don't leave me alone. I have been waiting for you since you got married. You know how much I love you."

Without saying a word, Wesley tucked her in.

Then, he turned to look at Julia who was still sitting on the ground. He pulled her up.

Julia was dragged by him and felt a little hurt. She took a step back and avoided him.

Julia wanted to leave here.

But Reese grabbed Wesley's hand and said, "It scared me to leave alone in the hospital. Can you ask Julia to take care of me?"

Julia stared at Reese in disbelief. "She slapped me in the face and dared to let me take care of her?!" She thought.

Julia thought it was ridiculous. "You hate me. What do you mean by asking me to take care of you?"

Reese leaned on the bed and cried. "But I think you are my friend."

Wesley looked at Julia and said coldly, "Well, you stay here and take care of her."

Then, without giving her a chance to make any choice, he walked out.

Julia gritted her teeth. She couldn't leave now. Wesley's bodyguards were standing at the door.

Reese was lying in bed. She pretended to be innocent.

Julia didn't want to talk to her. She sat on the sofa and closed her eyes.

After all, she had no other choices.

Reese narrowed her eyes and stared at Julia. There was a hint of malice light in her eyes. "I'm hungry. Please peel an apple for me."

Julia opened her eyes. Then, she glanced at the fruit knife.
