Chapter 2 Chapter 2 Gossip

The next morning, Julia got up late for the first time!

She happened to meet Caeter Danzer when she arrived at the company.

He came up to her with a smile. "You are late."

Julia smiled. "There is something at home."

She raised the collar of her shirt.

Caeter helped her to take the bag. "The meeting is going to begin."

Julia followed him into the conference room.

At this time, Wesley was coming to his office. He heard the staff talk gossip.

The staff member whispered, "I am quite sure that Mr. Danzer must be pursuing Ms. Lindesay!"

Another man responded, "The inter-office relationships are not allowed. Don't talk nonsense."

Wesley frowned. He tugged at his tie and turned to ask them. "What did you just say?"

The man was taken aback. He trembled with fright from Wesley's cold eyes.

"We're talking about Ms. Lindesay and Mr. Danzer. Mr. Danzer seems to pursue..."

Wesley's hand clasped his tie. He snorted in anger. "Pursue?"

The man trembled in fright. He didn't dare to say anything else.

Just then, the meeting ended. Julia came out of the conference room and whispered to Caeter next to her.

They were talking and laughing. Their expressions were natural. When they stood side by side, they looked like a couple.

The president's office was opposite the conference room. Wesley stood in front of the glass window. He stared at Caeter and Julia outside through the gap of the jalousie.

Julia came back to her office and sat down. Iris, the president's secretary, came over and said in a low voice, "Mr. Straw asked you to go to his office."

Julia froze for a moment. "Just me?"

Iris nodded. "Yes."

Julia hesitated. Wesley had never asked her to go to his office before.

"The president is waiting for you," Iris urged Julia.

Julia could only put down the documents and followed Iris.

As soon as she entered the office, she was pulled aside. Then, the door was closed.

Julia struggled to break free from his arms. She whispered, "What are you doing?"

Wesley put his arm around her neck. He said in a cold voice, "I heard that you hooked up with the director of the Planning Division. Is this the real reason why you want to divorce? You are becoming increasingly bold!"

Julia avoided his breathing around her neck. She sneered, "What gives you the right to judge me? You didn't want to marry me! Let's get divorced. Shouldn't you be happy with this result?"

"Yeah, I want to divorce you, but I didn't allow you to betray me!" Wesley pulled her into his arms.

Julia screamed in shock. He put his hand over her mouth.

"Shut up. You are still my wife. I have the right to do what I want to you!"

Julia was pushed against the window. She could see some colleagues walking outside through the gap of the jalousie.

She felt that her skirt had been taken off. She said in a low voice, "We are in the company!"

"So what? It's my company. You are my wife."

Wesley held her in his arms and kissed her neck.

Julia wanted to avoid his kisses, but there was no space for her to escape. She gritted her teeth.

"Bastard! Get out!"
