Chapter 5 Chapter 5 Alpha College

He went on, but I couldn't hear him. I feel lightheaded. I felt as if I had been tied to a thread and I was being swung around .

"What is Alpha College, Mike?" I asked in tears while holding my brother tight.

"It's an Academy that every wolf pack member has to go to once they become 20, like you. There, the Alphas of each pack train the wolves. Each alpha has a different classification from the wolf. Since there are four alphas, there are four classes. Running, sparring, wolf fighting and sensual. All of these lessons help to improve our wolves and make them better. This ensures that every pack has a strong pack, so that we will be prepared if we are threatened by the outside world."

"Oh, so I'm going there, too?" I asked tearfully.

"Yes, Elizabeth. Every wolf needs to go there."

"Can't she not go, Dad." Mike repeated, his eyes still downcast as a sign of respect.

"Why not? She's 20 years old. Every wolf goes to the Academy at that age including you. Now it's her turn. She'll go there. This is the final decision."

I took a deep breath.

"Can't I skip it?" I asked silently with a whisper, but my father heard me.

"Elizabeth, it is necessary for you to attend. No one can skip it. You're Alpha's daughter. What will people say if I break the law? Just tell me why you don't want to go first?"

I kept silent. I didn't have the courage to tell him about Gabriel, and I prayed that Mike wouldn't mention him either.

Thank goodness he didn't.

"You must go. This is the final decision," my father replied and left the room when he realized I didn't have an answer .

My mother reached for my hand and squeezed it.

"He's right, my dear. Think about it."

With that, she left, too.

Slowly, everyone got up and left, leaving me idly playing with my fork.

"Everything's gonna be okay, Mike. Don't worry." I gave him a big hug

Actually, we both knew it was not going to get better. Training with Alphas for a month would be good. I liked to fight. I liked training. After all, I was the strongest she-wolf in the pack. Even stronger than some male warriors.

But being in Gabriel's sight for even a second would be absolutely unbearable.

I hoped the Academy would be established in two months so that I would go there instead.

"Mike, I have to go. I told you to relax and everything would be all right," I began again. "We both rejected each other. I'm fine now. In fact, I'm totally fine with it. Even excited for the Academy! After all, I will be stronger. Then, I can beat you faster!" I jokingly punched him on the shoulder in an attempt to change the subject and lighten the mood.

He gave me a small smile that didn't reach his eyes, "You can never beat me."

I smiled and hugged him tightly. "I love you, Adolf Titler."

"Oh, that name again." He groaned.

Adolf Titler was the name I used to call Mike to provoke him. I once caught him looking through Playboy magazine, but he said he was studying history to hide the fact. So, when I asked him what exactly he was studying, just to make fun of him, he quickly replied, "Adolph Titler."

I'd been calling him that ever since.

"I love you too, fart face. Now, show them what that son of a bitch has lost."

I smiled and kissed him on the cheek. Then I walked towards my father, who was waiting patiently for me in the woods.

"Always link me with your mind! Don't forget!" I heard Mike shouting in the back.

"I will, Adolf!"

Alpha College

"Welcome, everyone! My name is Vincent Quinn. I'm the Alpha of the South Moon Pack. As the oldest Alpha in the room, I welcome you all to AL Law School!"

There were loud cheers and some howling throughout the area.

There were more than 25 wolves in the area, ready for training. There was a stage in the middle where all the Alphas were seated including my father and Gabriel.

As soon as we entered the territory designed specifically for the Academy, my wolf became restless. Now, from where I was standing, I knew she would stop at nothing to come out and pounce on Gabriel. Probably to tear him in to pieces.

Gabriel kept staring at me. He was there from the moment I stepped into the area. I didn't know why. Maybe he wanted to punish me because I brought my brother to his place without notice?

"As you all know, there will be four classes headed by the four alphas. Each Alpha has at least one class per week. Each alpha will be given a total of 7 classes. This is equivalent to 28 days of training. The remaining two days are your farewell party. All in all, this Academy will last for a whole month. I will take over your Wolf Sensory Course, Alpha Bartlett will control your Wolf Combat Course, Alpha Bowen will be the leader of the Running Course, and Alpha Gabriel will control the Boxing Course. Hopefully, in the end, you can all go back to your packs and become a better person. Become smarter, stronger and better," he concluded and sat down.

When my father came on stage, I cheered loudly and had a big smile on my face.

"I am Alpha Bartlett, the man who controls your Wolf Combat class. I'm sure you'll all have a great time here. I can't wait to meet each and every one of you. Until then, enjoy your party." He nodded to the crowd and returned to his seat.

Then there was Alpha Bowen, who said the same thing as my father, but obviously in his own words.

I looked at my father, who was busy talking to Gabriel. I gritted my teeth. If he had known what he did to me, that bastard would already be dead.

After a while, Gabriel came forward to deliver his speech.

"I'm Alpha Gabriel. I'm in charge of your boxing class. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's skills and what I can do to make them better. I want us all to get along, to make it an interesting experience for us." His eyes met with mine.

"A very interesting experience indeed, " I murmured

"Room 5"

I looked at the brown oak door and wondered who would be in it. The lucky people who happened to be my roommates

I took a big breath and opened the door. I pulled my suitcase. The scene in front of me almost pulled my eyes out of their sockets.

"What are you two doing in my room?" I asked in astonishment, my mind couldn't comprehend the scene before me.
