Chapter 4 He Stopped Being Kind to Her

Destiny was terrified by Greyson's glare.

He was like a lion that has caught its prey and she would be eaten alive any time soon.

It was so terrifying that she was unable to struggle.

Destiny trembled.

The fear of what would happen next made Destiny unable to maintain her calm.

Tears fell desperately from the corner of her eyes.

With hatred in her eyes, Destiny glared bitterly at this man who had acted recklessly toward her.

Suddenly she stopped gritting her teeth and she fought back by biting hard on Greyson instead.

She tasted blood in between her lips.

Greyson grunted angrily while his half-closed purple eyes opened.

This d*mned woman dared to bite him!

He carelessly wiped away the blood from his thin lips. The blood smeared across his handsome face, making the face evil-looking and the purple eyes bloodthirsty.

Destiny remained unmoved and met his gaze stubbornly. "Greyson! Not every woman wants to sleep with you!"

His blood was smeared on her pale pink lips as well.

It was proof of her refusing his touch regardless of his anger.

No one dared to upset Greyson, let alone bite him when he kissed any woman.

Greyson's face was gloomy. He squeezed her chin fiercely while watching at her frowning uncomfortably. "Really? I would like to see how you are going to reject me!"

He stopped being kind to her.

Destiny closed her eyes in pain.

"Greyson..." Tears kept falling from the corner of her eyes when she screamed helplessly, "I hate you. You are a devil!"

Was what she was enduring now the consequence of her entering a forbidden room that day?

Consequently she had provoked this devilish man?

That was the reason for her to endure the current humiliation and torture?

Yet the person who orchestrated the incident that night was not her!

She still didn't know who the main culprit was, let alone his whereabout.

Destiny hated how insignificant she was as she was unable to revolt.

The only thing she knew was that she hated this man who was both arrogant and cruel.

If only...

If only she was capable, she would revenge on him!

Destiny didn't know how long they spent the time in the bed, nor did she realise when Greyson left.

She only knew that this night was definitely a nightmare for her.

When she was woken up, she was still in the midst of terror. Panting, her eyes suddenly opened only to notice Julie in front of her and her whereabouts.

She was no longer in Greyson's extravagant and spacious bedroom.

The terrifying man was nowhere in sight as well.

She was relieved that at least she didn't have to see him when she woke up!

Otherwise, she would not know if she could refrain herself from seeking vengeance against him recklessly!

There were several maids behind Julie and they were holding trays of folded clothes.

"From today onward, you are no longer Mr. Edwards's pet," With her back straightened, Julie looked coldly at Destiny when she continued, "but the lowest-ranked maid in Aeskrow Castle."

Destiny was stunned. When she realized what Julie had just said, she couldn't help but blurt out, "Why?"

She was not even Aeskrow Castle's personnel at all. What rights did Julie have to let Destiny be a servant here!

Was it because she was forcibly brought back by them, so they had the right to force her to act on their orders?

But this was an act of compelling!

Julie's lips curled up ironically. "This was because you acted like an innocent girl last night, so Master decided to stop being kind to you. From today onward, you are Aeskrow Castle's lowest-ranked maid that could be ordered around by anyone."

She didn't expect that Destiny dared to bite Mr. Edwards last night!

Did this woman really think that her night-night stand with Mr. Edwards could save her from any punishment?

What a fool!

Initially, if she hadn't been ambitious to have wanted a higher status, Mr. Edwards might be willing to give her special treatment.

After all, she was the only one to have been ordered to be brought back to the Aeskrow Castle by Mr. Edwards!

Unfortunately, this woman was still clueless about her situation.

It was time to let her know her place.

Upon hearing what Julie had said, Destiny was stunned.

Lowest ranked maid?

Staring at the pile of clothes on the tray, she was deep in thought.

If being a pet meant that she would have to give up her dignity to be tortured and bullied by him, did that mean that as a maid, she didn't have to endure his torture?

Moreover, being a maid here would mean that she could still have some privacy, maybe she could...

"I see." Destiny nodded.

Since she couldn't rely on others to escape from here, then she had to do it on her own.

Being a lowly ranked maid was better than spending time with Greyson.

Thinking back on her experience of being brought here, Destiny wanted to bite Greyson harder the day before as what she had done was not enough to cause any harm to him!

Seeing Destiny agreeing readily, there was a trace of curiosity on Julie's face. Julie quickly restored her initial cold expression and casually said, "I advise you not to cause any trouble in Aeskrow Castle, if you don't want to drag your family into this."

Destiny's hope of escaping was instantly extinguished.

Implicating on the Griffiths family...

How could she let the Griffiths family be implicated because of her?

All of her mother's medical expenses during the long stay in hospital was paid by the Griffiths family. If something happened to the Griffiths family...

Destiny's eyes flickered and she lowered her head without saying anything.

Everyone had a weakness and her mom was hers.

The door was shut closed and the tray of the clothes brought by the other maids was placed on the bedside counter.

From today onward, was she going to be the lowest ranked maid of the Edwards family?

Destiny smiled mockingly.

Her father's trust, her mother's hope, and her relationship...

She thought she had lost a lot that night but she didn't expect that her life would be even more difficult after that.

When she removed the quilt that was draped on her and was about to get out of bed, she felt extremely painful and tired.

As she was not drugged last night, she remembered all the details.

He wanted her to give in to him.

He could continue dreaming on!

She would never succumb to that arrogant and domineering man!

She will escape from this place sooner or later!

Biting her lower lip, Destiny got off the bed despite her sore legs and waist to put on the clothes that were on the trays.

When she left the room, someone was waiting impatiently outside and led her to another room.

The room was very large and spacious. There were two other maids in the room and when they noticed her, they stared unkindly at her.
