Chapter 2 Destiny Was Held Responsible

Feeling dizzy, Destiny gently rubbed her forehead. While sitting up, she felt that the silk bedding was particularly cold against her skin, then she realized that she was naked!

She immediately pulled the bedding to cover her chest.

She noticed that she was in a very luxurious and spacious bedroom.

Light gold curtains were hanging loosely on both sides of the french windows. Through the window, Destiny could see the endless lawn.

Where was she? Why did she feel the environment familiar?

Then she remembered!

With her eyes widened, she blurted out, "This is Aeskrow Castle?"

Aeskrow Castle was where Greyson Edwards lived in S city, and also where the Edwards family dinner party had been held.

And this bedroom was the room where she had slept with that man that night!

Why was she brought here?

"Of course this is Aeskrow Castle." Julie glanced at her coldly. There was a hint of sarcasm on this housekeeper's face. "Why are you surprised? Didn't you deliberately get into Mr. Edwards's bed that evening during the dinner party? Now that you are brought back here, shouldn't you have known that?"

Mr. Edwards...

Edwards family...

Destiny's heartbeats quickened suddenly but she was still confused.

The person who had slept with her that night was Greyson Edwards?!

How could that be possible?

She had heard that he hadn't returned from abroad!

Besides, many people had come to the Aeskrow Castle to attend the dinner party that night and there were many rooms upstairs. How could that man be Greyson coincidentally?

Julie didn't care about Destiny's shocked reaction and continued, "Miss Griffiths, you should be thankful that you were a virgin and that your performance in bed that night was quite good. Otherwise, you probably couldn't be alive for drugging Mr. Edwards."

Destiny looked at Julie blankly.

She knew that Julie was telling the truth.

Greyson is the president of KW, the world's most valuable multinational group. At a young age, he had already developed the KW Group into a business empire it was now with his quick wit and bold yet accurate decisions.

Rumor had it that he was tyrannical in nature and anyone who accidentally upset him would end up miserable!

And that night...

Although she was very drunk, it was clear to her that there was something wrong with the scent of the room.

She was drugged and so was Greyson!

But now it seemed she was held responsible for all that!

Destiny looked at Julie and tried to clarify what had happened that night. "I didn't put the aphrodisiac in the room..."

"You didn't put it?" Julie sneered, "You didn't put it, but it so happened that you were in the Master's bed. Don't you think your lies are ridiculous?"

Destiny pursed her mouth, holding the bedding tightly.

Numerous women wanted to get into Greyson's bed. She had known it clearly during the dinner party.

If it weren't for the rumor that he had not returned from abroad, his bedroom would have been filled with women and it wouldn't have been that quiet like that night.

If someone went through a lot of trouble to drug Greyson, only to have Destiny breaking in casually, the fact was indeed very unbelievable.

No one would believe her explanation!

Destiny realised how ridiculous what she had said just now.

Yet this was indeed the naked truth!

Since that woman who placed the drugs did not succeed in getting into Greyson's bed, she certainly would not take the initiative to testify on Destiny's behalf, as she would be dead if she did that!

Thus Destiny would definitely be held responsible!

"What does he want?" Destiny said with some difficulty.

She couldn't explain clearly to Julie without sounding ridiculous yet what had happened that night had happened.

The most important thing for her now was to figure out the situation she was in.

Greyson sent someone to bring her to Aeskrow Palace. What did he really want?

Julie said coldly, "We have done a detailed physical examination on you and confirmed that although you were ovulating that night, you were not pregnant with Mr. Edwards's child. Isn't this the reason you dare not come back?"

Destiny finally understood why she was naked.

For Destiny, the so-called detailed physical examination was indeed a humiliation!

Her self-esteem was worthless to them!

She was filled with hatred!

Destiny clenched the quilt and her pale knuckles jutted out.

Her silence was taken as not being able to deny what Julie had said so Julie continued, "You are naturally afraid because you dared to drug Mr. Edwards yet you failed to conceive his child. Fortunately, since you have never slept with someone else since then and that your first time was with Mr. Edwards, Mr. Edwards allows you to stay with him as a pet."

That tone was as if some rare grace had been bestowed on Destiny.

When Julie finished her declaration, she glanced at Destiny, waiting for Destiny's pleasant surprise and thanks.

However, Destiny was horrified instead.

After listening to what Julie had said, Destiny raised her head and looked straight at Julie.

Pet?

They kidnapped her and examined her, humiliating her.

Then they told her that she could be that man's pet.

Being a pet like dogs and cats that had to pretend to be nice and wag their tails when they saw their masters?

What a great gift!

"I don't want to!" Destiny's voice was extremely clear.

She stared at Julie and said, "Let me go, or I will sue you for kidnapping and violating my privacy!"

Julie was a bit stunned, then she seemed to realize something.

She looked at Destiny with contempt.

"Miss Griffiths, the status of Mrs. Edwards is not something that anyone can covet. Since you are not pregnant, don't even think about becoming the Young Lady. Besides, being Mr. Edwards's pet, you can live a thousand times more luxuriously than you are right now as the young lady in the Griffiths family!"

A thousand times more luxuriously?

So what?

What's the point of being extravagant if you had to beg for mercy and live without dignity?

"As for what you said about suing us..." Julie lifted her chin and straightened her back. "If you think you can sue us, why are you still here?"

What Julie said reminded Destiny.

When she was kidnapped, there were many people around witnessing the incident.

Someone should have secretly called the police but why was she still in Aeskrow Palace?
