Chapter 3 03

CHAPTER 3

MONTANA'S POV

While I laid there still unconscious, but I think I was starting to get conscious a bit, I heard footsteps but I just couldn't get up, it was like I was dreaming, maybe I was just to drained from all the pain and it seemed like the wedding was finally over and I was still laying in the middle of my sitting room, not able to move but just remain in that darkness as I heard the footsteps which I suppose belonged to that of my family's.

"Let he be for now", Alpha Luke said as he called my father to a side and spoke with him, "I can not let her be in my pack anymore and I do not think you can let her be in your home anymore too, so I suppose we could both agree".

I could not quite make out everything they were saying but everything was sounding off, especially the little I could hear.

"Of course....she is useless to me anyways and has proven to be a waste of any effort", My father, Ford agreed with Luke.

They came back minutes later, I could hear the footsteps getting closer and I could feel the stare at my form, I tried to wake up but I don't understand what was happening to me and then I heard him say, "Now is good", that was Luke's voice, was it not?

I was brought back to full consciousness as a cold bucket of water was emptied on my face. I almost choked or I did choke as some of the water got into my nose.

I coughed out loudly, trying to put back myself in one piece and concentrate as my whole form and mind were still scattered and I saw them, hovering over me. It was like I was in the midst of people who wanted me to disappear forever, no doubt.

I was not dreaming. This...all this, all I heard was really happening.

Immediately my eyes came in contact with Luke's own, I crawled to him, rushing over and standing up at my feet, "Luke, help me out here 'cause I don't understand what's happening".

Luke scoffed and paused for a second before laughing loudly, a very angry one, "You go and sleep around and the next minute you have amnesia? Is that not an interesting way to forget things."

I shook my head quickly, "I can explain, it is not what you thought, that night- i- there-."

"Do you see yourself? You can not even from any word. I have given you a chance to explain and still you have nothing to say", Luke said to me although I really was trying to form something but everything was blurry.

I could not remember anything from that night, I could remember being dragged by someone, the person I think was Lola but I was not very sure, my head was spinning and the more I tried to recall to more I was not getting anything.

"I Alpha Luke of the Blood Moon Pack, reject you Montana as my mate, and Luna, you are a disgrace and I should have listened to what people said about you cause they are all true", Luke spat out, making sure to draw out each word.

Everyone seemed to be referring to me as a mistake and what if I truly am? I have tried my best to be loved, to be seen and heard but everything I have this bad luck, like a curse that keeps following me around and would never let me be happy.

"You are no longer my daughter anymore, pack your things and leave my house", My father said to me as my head whipped towards his direction, thankfully my next did not break with the force I used to turn and look at him.

"Father pleas-", I started pleading.

"Do not ever call me that, I am not your father and you are not my daughter and you will never be, get your things and leave my house."

"Oh and I have a gift for you", Luke stated, "When you leave your house, do well to leave this pack as well because I hereby banish you as a member of the Blue Moon Pack and you are now a rogue".

I laughed softly like a mad person cause why on earth will they drop all this on me at once, could they not at least give me some time to process things?

"Father please", I immediately knelt down in front of my father, "please I beg you, I have no where to go, I have no where else to go, please father, don't let this happen to me, help me please", I pleaded my eyes are red, if I leave I would most likely be eaten alive.

I tried touching my father's leg but he kicked my hands away and before I could go on with begging, my hair was pulled by no other but Lola.

She looked at me with such detest, "Greasy and dirty hair, I wonder what made you think you stood a chance as the Luna of a pack when you can not be anything for yourself sis".

"Do not call me that", I growled and removed her hands from my hair as I slapped her hard on the face, "You wrench!", I screamed out angrily but before I could get to her, I was pulled back by her mother who returned my slap.

I could taste the blood from my lips, "when you are done with her, do let me know so my men can throw that filth out", I heard Luke say as he left with Lola gripping unto his arms and smirking.

How could he give up on me, on us so easily? I thought watching as he disappeared out of the house with Lola and I knew I was done for. That night I received the beating of my life from both my father and step mum, whipped like they were casting some demon out of me.

And when they were done, my backs were packed and I was thrown out of the pack like some theif.

I was in pain but I had no choice, I had been given some hours to cry out blood and now I had no tears left as I started walking. No direction, no plan, nothing but I just walked.

During the process of me walking hopeless at night I walked into danger itself and I was the least surprised, all I could think about was how to survive this.

"Ouu...what do we have here? Dinner or Desert?", I heard some man whistle as five other men came forth.

I stood in place, too scared to move as I tried to reason with them on letting me pass and go but of course, they did not agree and as one of them wanted to touch me, an arrow hit him. He fell to the ground with a loud thud, the others getting alert.

In a swift moment, all five men were all down and dead and I felt it, something from this stranger.

I almost caught a glimpse of the man who saved me but before I could thank him or utter any word.

He was gone.
