Chapter 3 Your Entire Family Will Drown In An Endless Ocean

Zeker POV

The rays of the light from the curtain shone directly into my eyes. I opened my eyes and instantly shut it close again then robbed it gently before opening it. I sat up on the bed immediately and turned to the clock on the nightstand. Furthermore, I stood up immediately upon seeing that it's almost seven in the morning. Likewise, I'm an early riser and have never slept this late. Then what happened?

Walking into the bathroom I pulled off my briefs and turned on the shower. I closed my eyes and let the water cool my aching head. Yesterday was really splendid, I've never had such good sex in decades now. The best part of it all is that I'm her first. That thought brought a smile to my lips. I would love to have a beautiful moment with her again just like yesterday, but then I guess it better ends here.

After taking my bath, I walked out of the bathroom and took my clothes which were laying on the marble floor and put them on. Then picked hers up and placed it neatly on the nightstand. I plopped onto the dressing mirror and combed my hair after which I applied my cologne which is always with me.

Making my way to the door, I twisted the door knob, I turned my neck to The Sleeping Beauty on the bed and stared at her for a few seconds before going out of the room. I made my way to the receptionist and paid them for another night in case she wakes up late to avoid waking her up from sleep.

"Serve her breakfast when it's 10am." I ordered after paying for that.

"Okay sir." She replied and I walked out of the hotel.

I plopped towards my car in the parking lot, I entered it and placed my right foot on the left-hand pedal then pushed down. I pressed the start button and began to drive out of the hotel. The gate opened on their accord as I drove to the road. The minute I turned on the radio, my phone began to beep, and thankfully it's connected to my ear pod.

"Hello, make it snappy." I said over the line with my mind focused on the road.

"Zeker, did you just tell your mom to make it snappy?" I immediately looked at my phone screen.

"Ohh, didn't check the caller ID before connecting the call. How are you mom?" I asked as I continued traveling.

"I'm not fine. I miss my sons so much and the worst part of it is that none of them seem to remember my existence. I'm totally a forgotten soul!" She whimpered in her usual manner. She always does this when she wants something from me.

"You know how busy I've been." I said as I diverted my car to another direction.

"Yeah, but you're back in town, aren't you? I really want to see you, pay your poor mother a visit at least." She said with her dramatic sad tone, perhaps she's sipping a cup of juice while on this call.

"Mom, I don't have that time. I have a lot on my plate right now, maybe some other time." She heaved an audible sigh.

"I prepared your favorite food, I thought you'll at least drop by as it's been close to a year now. I understand how business you are. Take care of yourself in that case." She pitifully said and waited for my reply. She didn't hang up because she knows I will change my mind.

"I'm on my way." I announced as I hung up the call.

She's right, I've been out of the country for almost a year now, and I rarely speak with my mom. I've even forgotten the last time I spoke with my supposed girlfriend. That's how busy I am. Though even if I have any spare time, I would rather go have fun than waste that time on calling Bianca.

I never dreamed of my love life to be this pathetic, she made me give up on love. Though it's not entirely her fault because I gave up long before she walked into my life. Our relationship is just based on benefits, collaborations and business, nothing more. I pleaded with her not to develop any sort of feelings towards me because I won't reciprocate it, but then she couldn't.

In the sight of many, I'm the unfair one here because I don't give two fucks about our relationship. I don't love her in any way, the worst part of it is that I can't even pretend we're friends. Everything about her irritates and irks me. It's obvious I'm not into her, and she would rather not give up.

Her father is the most wicked and nefarious man I've ever met, profit must be attached in all he does. He claims to be my father's friend but to me, an enemy is far preferable than a friend like him.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even realize that I had arrived in front of my father's mansion. When the gate opened on its accord, I drove directly to the parking lot and packed my car properly. As I walked out of my car, the main door of our living room opened immediately and my mom walked out with smiles.

"My first fruit!" She called out as she gave me a heartwarming hug.

"You're so lean." She voiced out as she scrutinized me from head to toe.

"Couldn't help it." I said with a smirk, and she smiled and held my hand as we walked into the living room.

"You should take your fiancé with you on a business trip next time..."

"Point of correction, she's not yet my fiancé, just my girlfriend." I corrected, and she looked up at me with a confused expression.

"What do you mean by that..."

"Is this why you asked me to come over? Trust me when I say that I will leave here." I said as I turned towards her with rage.

"Zeker! You're back!" Bianca called out as she walked towards me and gave me a light hug and peaked my cheeks.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as I was really irked by her mere presence, and it seems she's the reason my mom asked me to come over here.

"I came to see you, you stopped taking my calls for months now." She complained with a hurt expression.

"You've seen me, you can leave." I ordered and she looked briskly at me.

"Zeker, you know what will happen when my father learns of this, right? You won't be the only one drowning down the ocean but your entire family." She breathed with a sneer on her face.
