Of course, this situation invited many cynical responses from colleagues who knew Beatrix. Moreover, everyone knows that Beatrix is now River's mistress. River knew something like this would happen, but he did it purposefully. River wanted Beatrix to suffer the shame every day.
"Why are you just back now, Miss?" Belinda asked as she opened the door for Beatrix. This middle-aged woman is a maid at River's penthouse. After settling here, Beatrix discovers that River has a personal servant who only works in the penthouse. So, the task of cleaning River's penthouse a few days ago turned out to be just a hoax.
"There's work I can't stay at, Belinda." Today, Beatrix came home past her normal working hours.
Beatrix was uneasy thinking about Amadea and felt she had to see her sister's condition. The plan was that she would only watch for a moment. However, Amadea's condition meant that Beatrix couldn't bear to leave. Her sister looked unhealthy and sick, almost like she was depressed.
"Miss, have you eaten?"
"That's it, Belinda. I'll go to my room first." Beatrix immediately went to her bedroom. She just wanted to sleep as soon as possible.
"Where have you been?"
Beatrix gasped at River's cold greeting as soon as she opened the bedroom door. The man was sitting quietly on the bed with a scary look on his face.
"Why are you silent? Answer me!" River stood up and moved closer to Beatrix. "Where have you been coming home so late?"
For some reason, Beatrix seemed enchanted by River's gaze. Instead of moving away, she froze. Without realizing it, Beatrix was cornered at the bedroom door. River's body was already crushing her.
"What do you want?" Beatrix tried to push away River's hand, which was stroking the back of her neck.
River grabbed Beatrix's chin and forced her to look at him. He whispered in a scary voice, "You haven't answered my question."
Beatrix tried to find an answer, but her brain was stuck. Finally, she was forced to answer honestly, "I have seen my sister."
River was quite surprised to hear Beatrix's honesty. He already knew, but River thought this woman would lie to cover up the truth.
"Who gave you permission?"
Beatrix shook her head shakily. "No one."
River brought their faces closer. "Didn't I forbid you from seeing her?"
"I didn't mean to see her; I just wanted to see from afar."
River narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "Then why is it so late?"
"My sister is sick," Beatrix whispered. "I can't ignore her."
"You're starting to dare to defy me," said River near Beatrix's lips.
"Is it wrong for me to meet her?" Beatrix asked while trying to avoid River's lips, which were starting to bite her.
"Wrong!" River held Beatrix's chin so the woman couldn't look away. "I want to see you two tortured. One way is to separate the two of you."
Beatrix choked. "Why do you hate us that much?"
"Do you think so?" River raised an eyebrow.
Slowly, River's lips began to trail along Beatrix's neck. The woman was scared. She didn't want River to touch her again.
"Can you please stop?" Beatrix asked softly.
River smiled mockingly. "Don't you like it?"
"Do any women like being treated like this?" Beatrix replied bitterly.
"Didn't I be nice to you?" River's hand began to move to touch the top button of Beatrix's clothes. "I didn't rough you up at all."
Beatrix grabbed her clothes tightly. "You're not rude, but you make me feel like a slut."
River lowered Beatrix's hand, then forcedly removed the woman's clothes. "I didn't want to touch you at first, but because you made a mistake, I have to give you a punishment."
Beatrix was helpless to resist as River dragged her onto the bed. That night, River touched her again. After finishing their game, River left Beatrix alone.
Beatrix really couldn't believe her life could change like this. Despicable and disgusting are the right words to describe the situation. All this time, Beatrix lived as an innocent good girl. She harbors the sweet dream of a beautiful future with the man who loves her. However, now all those shadows are shattered. Today, Beatrix realized that her dream was too naive.

"That woman is left?" River asked as Belinda placed the last dish for breakfast on the dining table.
"Miss Beatrix is still in her room, Sir."
River's brows immediately furrowed. "She's not working?"
River knew Beatrix always tried to avoid him by leaving the penthouse as early as possible daily. Hearing that the woman was still in her room surprised River.
Belinda felt this strangeness, but she had already confirmed it earlier. "Miss Beatrix said it was her holiday now."
Hearing that Beatrix was in her room intrigued River and made him want to disturb the woman. "Call her!"
When Belinda came to Beatrix's room and told her that River was waiting for her, her whole body suddenly became hot and cold. If she could refuse, of course, she would. Unfortunately, Beatrix knew she was powerless against River's will.
So, even though she was reluctant, Beatrix still forced herself to meet River at the dining table.
"What is it?" Beatrix asked stiffly, without any intention of sitting down.
River glared at Beatrix, then pointed his chin at the chair, gesturing for the woman to sit down.
Even though no words were spoken, Beatrix caught River's command and made her sit down automatically.
"What are you going to do today?"
"Nothing," Beatrix answered curtly.
River's eyebrows rose as he asked sarcastically, "Are you planning to spend the whole day in your room?"
Beatrix was silent without any intention of responding to River's question.
Seeing that Beatrix was silent, River asked irritably. "Reply to me!"
Instead of telling him her plan, Beatrix answered while looking at River sarcastically, "Is that any of your business?"
Beatrix's bold answer made River furious. "I have to know what you are doing."
A few days ago, Beatrix would have immediately answered when River asked. However, after experiencing repeated humiliations in the past few days, the woman started getting a little bolder.
Beatrix met River's gaze, then snorted sarcastically. "Are the things I do on my own now also your business?"
Beatrix's attitude immediately angered River. Immediately, he stood up, pulled Beatrix's chair, and lifted the woman's body.
"What are you doing?" Beatrix screamed in surprise.
River sat Beatrix at the dining table, then swept all the dishes until they clattered. He pushed Beatrix's body until she fell, then pinned her down while whispering furiously, "Teach you a lesson."
Beatrix's brain just clicked, and she immediately realized what River would do. With all her might, she immediately tried to push River's body, which was on top of her. "Stop it!"
River grinned evilly. "I won't."
"What else did I do wrong?" Beatrix exclaimed angrily.
River grabbed Beatrix's chin roughly. "I asked nicely, but you answered in a challenging tone."
Meeting River's eyes, flashing with anger, made Beatrix shudder.
"Next time, answer while I'm talking nicely, or I'll make you regret it again and again," said River as his lips began to caress Beatrix's sensitive parts.
"Do you have to do it here?" Beatrix sighed frantically. She tried to look around to see if there was Belinda, the other servants, or even the bodyguards who often milled about at River's penthouse.
"What is wrong with it?" River replied, not caring. Instead of stopping or at least bringing Beatrix into the room, River stripped the woman of her clothes.
"But this is the dining table," whispered Beatrix in despair.
"You look more appetizing than all the food just now."
Now River turned Beatrix's body around, then forced the woman to lie down on the table.
Indeed, her current position made Beatrix feel very humiliated. "What if someone sees?"
"Nothing to lose." River ignored Beatrix's concerns and put their bodies together immediately.
