Chapter 4 Phone call

The next morning , I work up , feeling the brightness of the sun in the room , welcoming me to a new day .

I checked my surroundings , a blue bedsheet, a night lamp, white paints on the walls , immediately I became alarmed of the environment.

Then I heard footsteps coming closer , I was suprised to see Annie coming . The tears I was holding slipped from my eyes .

Baby wat happened , Ann asked , she immediately hugged me , and I couldn't stop crying .

Stella please can you tell me what's going on, but if u don't want to it's fine .Then I went on to narrate from when I went to the mall , to almost been raped , to leaving the mall.

She became annoyed , and knowing how much she hates my step mom and my sis , I just shut my my mouth and allow her to talk.

I've told you countless times, to come stay with me but each time you refuse , now see what you've gotten yourself into . So sorry my love . She went on to console me and as if it worked , I felt relieved .

Our day turned out to be stressful as usual , with a lot of customers. My job is tiring but worth the stress.

Gradually the day was over, and we closed from work. Fighting and inner battle with my mind, whether to stay with Ann or go back home.

Entering into the house, I was greeted with the stairs of the green snakes( my dad, stepmom and sister.). Immediately I knew this was not going to be an easy fit for me.

Now where are you coming from young lady, I heard that annoying voice . I'm just coming from work dad, we're did you sleep last night.

This whole question and answer was becoming really Annoying but I had no choice than to bear . Then I went on to explain where I went to .

Hearing my mothers name triggered the anger in me . Cause I hate hearing her name from his mouth.

Then I worked out of the living room to my room to cool my head.

Early the next morning I took my bath as usual , got ready for work and left the house.

Days and days went by , this became my usual routine every morning.

Kelly I heard Audrey's voice . She's my loving sister and only female friend from birth . Hearing the news of her coming brought a smile to my face .

I was anxious cause it's been long I saw her, I started imagining how she will look like.

Then the door to my office opened, then a very pretty lady walked in , it took me some minutes to recognize my sister Audrey Because she was looking all grown up and big .

Audrey I called back , she ran to my direction and hugged me . Am so happy to see you , me too my love , I started asking her questions, we chatted for long , trying to make up for the lost time . Then I offered to take her home . But she declined breaking my heart . Remembering that she's around now, gave me some peace . The next day we met at a restaurant , then the waiter came in , she was the most gorgeous and most beautiful lady I've ever met. . I couldn't take my eyes of her . But she didn't even give me a glance , this made me really embarrassed.

Good afternoon lady and gentleman please what's your order I said. Not to lie the man the woman were the most beautiful couple I've ever met. I took their orders and I left .

When I came back I saw the man looking at me but I shrugged it off.

Audrey's pov

Kelly I took an entrance examination at two ends business school. I told my brother. I knew he will get mad but this was my choice ., and true to what I said he got mad.

Audrey why didn't you inform me earlier to create a space for you at one of the best sch oils here. He continued raking but he had no choice than to accept at the end but not without a condition .

Audrey I can only allow you attend that school on a condition that, you will go to school with bodyguards. This sounded odd to me but I had to accept cuz this my only way to live a normal life to some extent
