Chapter 4

I first looked in the big mirror and smiled. When everything was in order, including my stuff and my wallet, I put it in my packbag and quickly got down and jumped out of CASA. I keep looking like Dora the explorer.

"I'm the Dora!" I said jumping up.

"I'm the Dora!" I just repeated it because I just wanted to entertain myself. It's Monday so I'm just going to commute and I have to hurry so I won't be late because CASA MONTELEAGRE is far from the hospital where I work. I opened my packbag and took what I needed.

"Get in," he ordered.

"Are you still shy?" he said weakly and lightly tapped my forehead before opening his brief case and taking out a folder. He looked at it first to check the contents before handing it to me.

"Just give it to your husband. This is the list of medicine that is needed at the hospital in Batanes and that the other nurses there also need, even if only temporarily," she informed me.

"Alright brother. Just take me to doc Shantal's condo," I said.

There was silence inside brother Isaiah's car until we arrived at Doc Shantal's Condo. I thanked him first before getting off and heading to Doc Shantal's unit.

"At Hospital," I said to the driver and he immediately drove off.

When I got to the hospital, I immediately ran inside and went straight to the biometric fingerprint time attendance at the nurse station. I automatically placed my thumb on the biometric machine so I could check in even though I knew I was ten minutes late. I'm not a regular nurse here yet because I don't have a license yet, my plan is to actually proceed in medicine so I haven't taken the board exam yet. Doc Thy Ron is the one who pays me, so I don't want to be late if it's true because he will deduct my salary.

After all, there is a saying, It's better to be late than to be absent and it's better to have deductions than to have no salary because I can't buy feminine wash if I don't work.

"Reality check!" I blurted out before I took my daily chart for this morning to visit doc Thy Ron's remaining patients and give them the medicine they need so they can recover quickly and be discharged from the hospital.

I went one by one to those scheduled today and gave the medicines for today. Then I don't have a job anymore because I'm sure Babu won't come here to the hospital because he doesn't have anything important to do because I had the files with him earlier and there's probably no emergency right now so I'll be there at the nurse station to hang out until lunch time and I can go out right away later.

"Nurse Jen?" I called the in-charge now here at the station.

"Yes, Alia?" he answered me.

"I'll hang out here until lunch time," I said goodbye and sat on the side so I wouldn't disturb their work.

"Alright. We won't do anything," he agreed with me.

"Thank you," I said and took my phone.

"You can try to search on Google," I said and went to the Google app and typed meaning for Analyze and succeeded Penetrate. I waited for Google to show up on my screen, but I quickly hit the close button when nurse Jen's colleague, Karyll, arrived, so I stood up and bowed.

"Are you here, Alia?" he opened his eyes to me so I smiled at him.

"Yes," I answered respectfully because they were older than me.

"Nurse Alia?" Jen called me.

"Yes," I said.

" Have you watched what's trending now?" he asked. I was suddenly curious though

I shook my head because I don't know anything about what's trending right now because all I have in mind is money, feminine wash and so on.

"Your Fast in the furious X," I suddenly stood up because of what he said. I'm so excited right now and I want to watch it right away because Dom and Bryan are my idols. I watched Fast and Furious from the beginning because they are good at car race shows.

"Let's watch, come on!" I said quickly and approached them.

"We're on duty, Alia!" Karyll looked at me.

"Doc Thy Ron isn't here, it won't come here," I informed because I was really sure it wouldn't come here. They will believe me because I am his assistant nurse and I know his schedule.

"Alright," I convinced them and accompanied them by touching their shoulders.

"Stop it Alia," Jen looked at me and removed my hand from her shoulder.

"Alright, please," I begged and made a cute kiss.

"You'll be responsible for us if someone finds out we're watching during work hours," Nurse Karyll told me so I nodded.

"Promise he won't come here even if you look at my holding chart, he doesn't have a schedule today," I promised and showed them my daily chart. They nodded at the same time for assurance that they believed me because they also wanted to watch. I placed my phone with my daily chart on top of their desk and grabbed a chair before sitting next to them.

"Just on your cell phone, Alia. The screen is bigger, Jen sent you the link?" Karyll said so I nodded again.

I pressed the short cut button on my phone and opened the link sent by sister Jen. Later I will read your senerch with ante Google because what we are going to watch now is more important.

The show has started so the three of us are focused on the screen. The cars in Fast and Furious X are exciting and Jason Momoa is also cast, so I'm even more excited because Jason Momoa is also good and he's also the diva in Aqua Man. Add Jason Statham and John Cena is complete. I looked behind me to see that the three of us were no longer watching because two nurses came and watched too so I just let them because I was co-concentrating on what we were watching.

Later, we were in the exciting part of what we were watching when we suddenly heard a scary scream.

I quickly pressed the short cut button so I could scroll the link but he violently snatched it from my hand.

Chapter 6.1

I was even more nervous when he looked at me so I swallowed three times. The owner of the hospital is very angry and all the blood is on his face because it is red with anger. He looked at me evilly as if he was going to swallow me alive. He's like a Beast!

"what this?!" he asked angrily. My eyes widened when he showed me the link of my senearch earlier with ante Google.

"you five!" he angrily pointed at us.

"go to my office!" he shouted and turned his back on us. I took a deep breath because I didn't know what to do. I was breaking out in a cold sweat, it was so embarrassing to be so close to doc Thy Ron especially what he showed me. Because he suddenly grabs his cell phone.

"Come on!" Karyll called me. I was the only staff there so I didn't realize I was alone at the nurse station. They all followed doc and Karyll just came back to call me.

"Alia? You said Doc won't be here?" he asked and pulled me away.

"I don't even know because he doesn't have a schedule," I whispered.

"Jusko! Doc Monteleagre is very angry with us, Alia. We will lose our jobs, Alia," he informed, making me even more nervous as I followed him. I have a lot of thoughts and then add more. Karyll and I caught up with nurse Jen and the two nurses who were waiting for us.

" Open it Alia," nurse Jen ordered us but I shook my head so we all looked at each other. No one wants to open the door even though the owner is waiting for us like a dragon when angry.

"Open that damn door!" We heard a scream from inside so I opened the door and we went in together. I can already imagine how doc Thy Ron's anger would blow when he looked at me like I was about to scream. I'm sorry! said my mind and sat in the empty seat.

" He shouted and gave me a monster look. So I just bent down and started biting the nail of my index finger to hide the tears that were about to fall because he was humiliating me. his nurses.

"What's your reason for watching during work hours?" I heard him ask.

"Alia is because doc Thomas," the two chorus. I didn't calm down because I was really the one they were going to teach.

"He said you don't have a schedule today and s-sure you won't be coming here to the hospital, so we watched," Karyll stammered.

"Did you believe in your mind, kid?!" he asked so I raised my head and looked at him. He was still looking at me angrily because his ears and face were still red, so I pressed my nail biting harder.

"Sorry doctor. It won't happen again," answered nurse Alia.

"It won't happen again because you're all fired!" he said seriously and violently stood up.

"Doc Monteleagre, please have mercy on us," nurse Jen pleaded.

"I don't know how to show mercy. Are you in duty or not?" he asked.

"On duty, doc," the four of them chorused.

"See! Why do you need to watch this kind of video during your duty hours and you have a boy with you!" He yelled and placed my phone in front of me and it started playing.

We heard the moan of a girl that sounded like she was crying that I couldn't understand. My hair suddenly stood up because my brain couldn't process him. There are a lot of things that can be seen on my short cut button before Google actually came out. It's not a p*rn site. I searched earlier for the meaning of the answer I wanted, but why did it come out like that? My mind asked.

"Doc, that's not what we're watching!" we all defend.

"We watched Fast in Furious X, not f*rn," Jen seconded.

"Then give me proof because that's what appeared on that phone!" he promised seriously and pointed to my phone.

"Alia?" Karyll called me. This day is too embarrassing for me. I can't even defend myself. How can I depend myself if that's what he saw and believed. I feel like he turns me off so much it's like I really have no hope.

"I'm sorry," I apologized and bowed. My tears started to fall because of shame. I just want to be swallowed by the earth to avoid the person I love.

"I'm sorry, doc, it won't happen again," they said at the same time.

"Go back to your area!" he ordered seriously. I heard their footsteps walking away and the sound of the door closing. I wiped my tears first and stood up. I bowed first as a respect for him and slowly turned away.

"Prepare your papers, Emerald!" he said making me stop. I closed my eyes and faced him again.

"I'm sorry it won't happen again," I apologized.

"Definitely never again because that won't work!" he answered back.

"It's stupid," I complained. I don't have any feminine wash to buy when I don't have a job anymore

"You're making my nurses feel sorry for your stupidity. Can't you do something sensible?" his sermon.

"We were just watching Fast in Furious X," I replied.

"Really! Fast in Furious X or three X, that's different Emerald!"

"Then I saw a p*rn site on your phone! When did you think so badly!"

"I just tried e-searching what brother Isaiah said, maybe it's because you and doc Shantal are doing the same, so I think your relationship is strong and won't be broken no matter what..."

"F*CK!" he shouted and threw my phone against the wall.
