Chapter 6 FIND HER

ROBERT'S POV

"I can't believe that just happened. Did we just save a girl in a park because we wanted to fill a hole in ourselves?!." Casper asked and jumped into his Lamborghini.

"I'm leaving the country, I'm flying to Italy in my private jet, my phone is going to be in do not disturb so nobody should bother wondering where I am." Casper said before closing the door of his car.

"She looks so much like Emmaline. They have the same eyes, the same hair...but this girl has paler skin and she looks too fragile. Emmaline was vigorous." Wave said.

Casper had already started zooming off. He was very hurt from this, I remember the excitement in his voice when I called him, he was drowsy but immediately he heard what I had to say, he drove immediately to the hospital.

"We scanned everywhere for her Wave, everybody named Emmaline, we reviewed, we searched. God, I don't know what my Emmaline would like like now as a grown up twenty one year old, if she's even alive...."

"F*ck!." Wave spat

He entered into his Ferrari and without saying another word he zoomed off.

I had called a cab because I wasn't with my car when I saved the girl. What was I thinking, that Emmaline would find her way back to the park?.

I shook my head as I entered into the taxi, I wanted to be as far away from the hospital very quickly. Maybe I needed to travel out of the country, too.

EMMALINE'S POV

The doctor stood in front of me, immediately the nurse dropped the tray with food on it on my lap, I could not control myself.

It was as if my body took control, I grabbed the spoon and I didn't stop chewing until the plate was empty and my jaws were hurting.

I looked up at the doctor and the nurse, they had a disgusted and amused look on their faces.

"I haven't... I've not had any food for quite a while..." I tried to explain.

"Then how come the wealthiest men in our country had brought you here?." The nurse asked in bewilderment.

"Wealthiest... They did seem wealthy..." I began saying.

"Don't you know who they are, they're multi trillionaires, probably the most wealthiest men..." The nurse was saying with wide eyes but I cut her off sharply.

" I've had enough of hearing about wealth..." I said more acidly than I had intended.

It was just that living with a heartless billionaire made me uncomfortable, if they're trillionaires, imagine how rude and arrogant they would be. I thought to myself but then I remembered how nice they were before I asked them why they would rescue me.

ONE WEEK LATER

I stayed in the hospital for a week because I did not have any where else to go. I ate their food, it had no seasoning most time but it was nutritious, I could not complain.

But the doctors and nurses started side eyeing me because it was obvious I had fully recovered, they just did not want to tell to leave because they were scared that I meant something to Casper, Wave and Robert...and they did not want to get into trouble for hurting my feelings.

I meant nothing to them, they had rescued me and if I ever met them in the future I would finally say thank you and we would part ways.

It took everything in me not to run back to Mr Shawn, not because I developed a soft spot for him, eww that would never happen, not even in my wildest dreams, but because the scorch from the sun was slowly cooking me as I sat in the bench at the bus stop.

I stood up, it was getting late. I made my way forward and onward without a destination, but as it grew dark I felt that I needed to find a place to crash or else I would come in contact with danger.

There were a crowd of paparazzi flooding the front of an estate's gate. In the dark, their cameras flashed like twinkling stars. There were cheers and screams as two fancy cars were entering into the estate.

I went close to see what was happening and immediately body guards and security men wearing dark suits started shoving people away, I was among the people being shoved aside.

"What is happening?." I asked a man holding a camera, there was a female reporter standing beside him.

"The Jons and Kaleb!." The woman exclaimed in my face.

"What?." I asked her, I was lost.

"Wave and Casper Jon... Robert Kaleb, the richest bachelors are gathered in one place." The woman informed me.

I recognized those names. Those men had saved me last week. I looked at the mansion that stood in the middle of the estate and I gasped.

" They're really rich..." I was elated as I saw two big helicopters in their compound.

ROBERT'S POV

Wave called me and Casper to his house because he had something to say to us, something important.

He practically had to make Casper fly over the from HollyWood and we both drove here together.

There was a mob of paparazzis in front of his gate. We met Wave drinking in his living room. He started to explain to us that he went back to the hospital and he saw that the name in the girl's file was Emmaline... Not just a random Emmaline, he dug deeper and found out that she was adopted when she was eight by a couple who did not have any kids.

He dug really deeper, she was his sister, my Emmaline but once again she was no where to be found since she left the hospital...

"So you're telling me that the girl we saved is my baby sister?!." Casper screamed, he held the chair and threw it across the big room.

I could not believe what I was hearing. Wave was serious, his face was pale white, as if blood was vacuumed from him.

"I was curious because she really looked exactly like the little girl I remembered and I went back to the hospital for her records, we could have just asked her for her name!." Wave said.

My inside world was crumbling. Casper hurled another table across the room.

"Where is she, don't tell me you lost her again." Casper demanded from Wave.

" Casper... " I started saying and he turned to me.

" You don't know what it is like to loose a your little sister... Twice!. " he spat

" You don't know what it's like to loose the love of your life, twice." I told him and he softened immediately.

" I'm sorry." He said to me and Wave.

"She left the hospital today." Wave informed us.

"We can still find her." I said standing up.

I was aware of the paparazzi outside and I had ordered some men to take care of them.

We entered into our cars and we drove towards the hospital.

We were driving when my eyes caught sight of something and I had to hit the brakes.
